눉1. Owner and/or management is "Money Hungry," as they would not allow us to leave our vehicle on their property for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, to complete a Scheduled tour, on the day of checkout. They wanted to charge an additional $30.00 dollars for the 2 1/2 to 3 hours, after spending almost $400.00 dollars for our stay. We were to be picked up at 10:10 AM, at the hotel, by the tour operator, and returned to the hotel between 2:30 & 3:00 PM. However, they demanded we pay $30.00, or leave the property. They do not know what Customer Service or Customer Appreciation is!!! Furthermore, they do not care!
2. They would not allow us to check-in a number of hours early, on our arrival day, nor would they allow us to sit in our vehicle, in their parking lot, to await time to check-in. They demanded we pay for an extra day or leave the property... We decided to pay for an extra day, as we were tired from the drive up. Further, they would not not pro-rate the extra day, not a dime off. Again, all they care about is the Money... "MONEY HUNGRY"!!!
3. The hotel did not have an alarm clock, a hair dryer, an iron, an ironing board, pen or pencil, writing paper, local activities, local restaurant, nor a bible in the room. WHAT KIND OF HOTEL IS THIS??? The room did have a nasty ashtray and a television.
4. Further, the outdated, poorly operating (if you can call them operating), low flow, toilet, stopped up... with #2. We called the front desk for someone to come and unstop the toilet, or for a plunger. We were informed, we would have to wait for the maid to come around, to clean the room, and she would unstop the toilet. We asked, what to do in the meantime... and were told to continue using the toilet. REALLY??!! When the maid came, she informed us to use "only 3 squares of tissue," single-ply at that. 3 squares of single-ply tissue... Really??!!
