The Big Bertha room was very large and comfortable.
The stairs were a little steep for us old folks. The food was good but only a continental breakfast.
good people, owner, cook. Was right next to the Grand Canyon Railway.
We liked everything about The Red Garter. John our host and Angie and Debra were wonderful and their knowledge of the area is invaluable - breakfast of fresh fruit and homemade cinnamon buns are just some of the items on menu. A must stay in Williams AZ
There is nothing here not to like
Free beverages and baked goods Very friendly and helpful staff Lovely historic decor Unique compared to local chain hotels
The origins of the building...
Trains honking in the night.
Very comfortable B & B in the centre of Williams. We were made very welcome by Angie and John who provided an excellent breakfast, and a take out pack of the most delicious home made pastries that were very welcome later in the day. Highly recommended.
Trains hooting through the night as they passed through Williams made for a disturbed nights sleep, but I guess this would be the same wherever you stayed in town.
The staff was friendly and had some interesting stories to tell.
RR crossing practically under our windows made sleep difficult when trains came through at midnight, 4 a.m., etc. Breakfast choices mostly consist of pastries that are too sweet for any time of the day. We were told that will change soon, with more options.
Nice management who were helpful and keen to please. The breakfast was good. An ideal place to stay to experience Williams.
This place has history and character. The entire experience was awesome and cannot be duplicated anywhere. John has the perfect demeanor for being the owner if this one of a kind establishment!
good atmosphere, more like a small hotel than B&B, awesome high bed and talking to the owners during breakfast!
arrived last and had no window in the room
Location is perfect, ambiance was just what we were looking for, rooms very comfortable and the staff was excellent!
What a great place to spend the night in Williams. Extremely nice welkome by John, in this historical and charming house. Fine breakfast and good distance to drive to LA!!
old time character and old stories by the owner....especially the ghost picture
Very charming, fun place to stay. Room was nice, cozy and clean.
I stayed here on July 4th. There was quite a bit of noise from outside but quieted down.
This place is great for location and history. You can walk to most everything in town. They have a nice breakfast included as well.
Great staff, owner on site and very personable! Great historical building, great history to go with it. Breakfast was decadent choices of pastries, fruit, and drink. Will return
The bed was super comfortable, staff was super nice, location was super perfect. Yep, this place was super.
Noisy neighbors. My guess is that they never stayed in a B&B before. Not the Inn's fault. Maybe some signs or communication for no noise after midnight would be appropriate. There is a whole town to get wild in but right next door in a B&B? Come on...now I feel old.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Our room was super cute. It was a very hot day but our room was nice and cool. Breakfast was great.
Check in is only available from 4pm to 8pm. This worked out for us but could be a disaster for other travelers.
Great location. Great staff.
Fantastic stop off for us whilst travelling Route 66. A wonderful hotel with friendly staff who took time to make sure our stay was more than comfortable and who also gave us an insight in to the intriguing history of the hotel. Loved it and cannot recommend it highly enough. Great town to explore too. Thanks
Towels were plentiful and nice and thick. Location, across from station is super! Plenty of parking. Ice machine in hallway. Lots of detailed history from owner.
Could have used a suitcase stand.
antique hotel look.
noise from the bar behind us
Host and hostess were extremely friendly; gave us very valuable advise and tips for our trip to the Canyon and surrounding site-seeing excursions. Loved the special attention we received and the small-town feel of the B&B after the hustle and bustle of the big Las Vegas hotel.
Absolutely no complaints at all :)
