The king bed was very comfortable..and had lots of room ...really nice
Nothing to dislike....enjoyed the restaurant...slept good...good location..
Walking the riverwalk was a wonderful way to start the day. Easy access, great for walking or running. Staff was professional and courteous, the front desk was always manned.
My only negative had nothing to do with the hotel, it had to do with a noisy guest across the hall that had to take his loud talking, outside the room into the hallway, in the middle of the night.
I prefer the suite. I am grateful that there are accommodations for people who smoke. The main reason I visit frequently is for the hot tub for pain relief.
I have a mobility issue and believe that there should be some smoking rooms on the first floor--or being allowed to use a first floor room regardless. Mattress quality could be improved. Kitchen area in suites need to be bigger and freezer needs to work in the refrigerator. I would rate the hotel higher if these issues were improved.
The waitress in the restaurant. Very pleasant and helpful.
When we arrived at RLH (our first stay ever at one) the front desk clerk told us our room was not ready and the head of housekeeping was in a meeting. We would have to wait until he came out to get our location (even though it was after check in time). So we sat in the lobby and waited and waited and waited. Finally my husband went to the desk again and dealt with a different clerk who issued our room keys and apologized for the inconvenience. Not a good first impression.
My reservation was lost in cyberspace, no one had any idea I had a reservation when I gave them my printed reservation they could not find it. It was late, we were tired and it made it hard for us to find a place to eat due to the delay. No apologies were offered. I hope your reservations staff can correct such mistakes
It was by the rivver walk
Smelled musty and very out dated. Executive suite didnt have anything in little bar area. Bath tub water on/off handle broken. Just not what I have experienced at other red lions.
The breakfast was gross, bagels were hard, eggs had no flavor. The room we stayed in the toilet made a loud squeal when you flushed it for a few minutes, when taking a shower the water turned freezing cold or scolding hot without warning. The shower head looked like it was going to pop out of the wall at any moment. The tv was extremely loud when turning it on every single time. The lamp above the bed did not like to come on unless you pressed the button three or four times. The hotel tried to charge me a 40 dollar a day fee on top of the cost for our hotel room which I had no knowledge of until I showed up to check in. I will never go back to this hotel again. The place looked dumpy and the room was not worth the price.
Location, clean and quiet
Had to argue about the rate but got the booking.com price after a while.
Nice place to stay. Clean and comfortable.
Just needs to be updated a little bit. Little TLC would go a long way.
Housekeeping never came into our room even though we stayed for 2 nights, had to ask for clean towels, and throw our own trash.
Not a damn thing!!!
The place is rundown! We were upgraded to an executive suite because they did not have our reservation properly handled. Our shower head was falling out of the wall. We had a tv from the 1980s. The building was not secure as there was a transient homeless person that entered through the back door and took a bath in the sink of one of the restrooms this was at 4 am in the morning and I happened be to up already. When I tried to call the front desk about this transient person we discovered that the phones in our room did not work..neither of them. I had to find the #to the hotel and call the front desk on my cell phone...Ridiculous. We deserve to have our $ refunded aand red lion hotels should receive nothing from us.
I felt the staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
One decision to stay at this motel was the fact there was a fitness facility. I was disappointed that the machines did not work.
Excellent stay overall
The room was very spacious.
Breakfast was poor
Pool and Hot tub area nice. Breakfast good. The room was clean. They did give us a 50% reduction on the room rate.
We had a room with problems. Toilet and tub drained very poorly. Heating system in the room was very very noisey. Old television did not work at all! Poor value.
Staff was helpful
First night heater did not workand room was not serviced, asked for towels the next day.second night room was not serviced had to ask desk for towels, third night room was not serviced some of the towels were changed but not the face towels and bathroom was not cleaned or floor in room, never vacuumed. did not replace any of the soap or shampoo or coffee. had stayed before but this was the worst I have had.
Didnt have new tvs like the add shows
over all apperance and cleanleness of the entire layout
Didn't have a night light light in the room. These would be a great help to us older folks that don't see well in the darkened rooms
