Very good,

“ My granddaughter awoke around midnight with a bad earache. I called the frontdesk for advil, which they didn't have. The young lady on duty went across the street to the gas station and purchased advil for me. She delivered it to my room and refused payment as well as my tip. Red lion hotel in pendleton oregon should be proud to have an employee like she is. ”

I was there as part of a convention. the property was wonderful!! the staff was excellent and very attentive throughout!!!! the lounge could have stayed open later. the breakfast buffet was enjoyable; however what was offered was not significantly more than what many chains offer gratis. please add convention attendee to the choices in question 1

Very nice place, rooms very large, comfortable, quiet and relaxing Short staffed at front counter for check in. Clerk was rude to multiple customers that had simple questions and acted put off. When it was our turn to check in was also short with us. This was all unnecessary and could have been handled better. It was an uncomfortable experience

The beds are always comfortable. Easy access to our room. They allow dogs. There is great dog walking space around the hotel. The rooms are always clean and they had everything we needed for our stay. The restaurant and bar closed at 9 pm.

The bed was very comfortable. We slept well. Our bathroom area wasnt very clean. Hair in the sink, splatters on the mirror and sink faucet. They charge $2 for the water bottles in the rooms & ours were missing but the tags for them were there.

Decent room, and the kind I wanted. Booked online and said I did *not* want a disability accessible room, but that's what I got anyway. No microwave. No fridge. Asked for a room as high up as possible but got the 2nd floor, and it certainly wasn't very full (I'd say they were running around 30% - 40% capacity). No complimentary continental breakfast. Everybody else provides this. Apparently they want you to eat at their restaurant for an exhorbitant price. It would be nice to have a couple of electrical outlets available at the head of the bed to plug things in, like my CPAP machine. It would be nice to have a couple of USB ports available to plug into.

It was a central location and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and quick. The cleanliness of the room was not Red Lions usual. The tissue box in the bathroom was soaking wet and the loation and shampoo bottles were empty. I will give them the benefit of the doubt because they had just come off a week of Pendleton Round up. We went down for dinner at 4:30 and vacuuming was still being done and no one was at the desk to tell us how muich longer we would have to waite, so we went elsewhere.

The room was clean and nice. We had no problem getting assistance when needed from the staff. I think a room with a balcony should have a couple of chairs on the balcony. It was a nice view of the mountains and I would have enjoyed sitting and drinking my morning coffee outside if a chair had been provided. Also the last inhabitants had left items in the refrigerator. I threw it all out. Maybe the staff should check refrigerator for left over items.

The staff was friendly The restaurant and pool should stay open longer. They both close at 9 p.m. There's no where else to eat. It was still light and warm outside until 10 p.m. The lighting was poor in the room. It was extremely dark. The ceiling leaked water onto the bathroom floor. We were on the ground floor. When I mentioned it to the clerk they said they would take care of it. Badly stained tiles show that It's been an ongoing problem. Some sort of discount would have been nice.

Exceptional front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff helped make our stay special. We will be back. Loved the $5 breakfast buffet. Perfect for everyone. The rlhp is showing its age. For me it is all cosmetic. Well worn trim work in the bathroom, peeling paint on the exterior roof on the pool side. Granted, these are very minor and had no affect on the quality of our stay. I think the nicest part of the stay was the beautiful outdoor pool which everyone enjoyed.

The facility was very clean and conveniently located. My reservation said there would be a small refrigerator and microwave in the room and there were neither. The restaurant prices for dinner were too high but the Shari's down the street served good food at a reasonable price. The staff member who greeted us in the afternoon was not the friendliest of people.
