The size of the room
Old carpets, breakfast not included, smell of old things.
the view from bay view is lovely. GREAT WALKING TRAIL RIGHT IN FRONT. Helpful friendly staff. Crab dinner was amazing in rest.
smells a bit old and musty upon entering room. Room ok after being aired out. Atmosphere in rest. more like a coffee shop.
The room was a bit overused
Right by the Victoria Ferry, very important considering our itinerary. Also, the clouded glass window by the shower was cool, man, cool.
Great beds, Crab House too expensive for breakfast. Shower curtain too short so I had to wipe up water after each shower

The location and the staff. It's a 70's kind of hotel, but well maintained.
Pool open until 10PM Easy to get breakfast Staff let me eat dinner slightly after hours
Chair in room was dirty
The hotel is old and the fixtures show it. The room is comparable to a Super 8 but much more expensive. They offer a brunch for $7.95 that is what other chains offer for free.
Beautiful spot on the Strait. Great location off the main road.
the room was frigid when we opened the door. Not a great idea for a location like PA.
Size of room and location
Cheap towels and unattractive pool area and cost of room was high without a view.
i was charged for changing my reservations through Bookings. i was arriving a day later than original date. am still waiting for the refund of 1 night for 3 rooms.
Bathroom sinks like mold, hallway smelled funny. Beds lumpy and uncomfortable. Location was good. Front desk people very nice.
Room was clean and somewhat updated. Maids were very nice - delivered extra towels & pillows in a timely manner.
Where do I begin... Receptionist provided poor direction to room. Requested 1st floor since no elevators, yet we still had stairs to haul luggage. A/C didn't work, tech came to room and fixed, but it broke down late in the evening and became too hot, didn't sleep well as a result. Dined in the hotel restaurant - terrible! Steak was worst ever - fish & chips, well - what fish?? Way too much batter. Too expensive for this place!!
Loved the view out to the harbor. Nice places to walk around at dusk. Lovely dinner at the Thai restaurant across the street. The front rooms on the water are worth the extra money.
Desk clerk was a bit odd. She asked us "this is a first floor room. Is that OK". When we replied we really would prefer a second floor room" said, "We have no second floor rooms" We said nothing but thought..."then why did you ask us." Her attitude was sort of cold and offputting.
The grandkids loved the pool and beach. I was impressed with size and comfort of the room.
The bed was a little too soft for me, but that's a personal problem.
We loved the location. We enjoyed the oceanview room. It was clean, easily accessible. Parking was fine. Points of interest were within walking distance too!
Beds, pillows were not the most comfortable, BUT, not terrible.
clean friendly staff comfortable beds great location with a view of the bay
Musty smelling room, bought air spray. Shower was marginal
Nice spot on the water, the staff was kind and helpful. Its worth the extra for waterfront room, cant beat the sunrise and views!
Overall this is a nice spot. I think It is time for an overhaul. Feels like I was in a 1970s hotel.
The location of the hotel was right on the sea front, staff were frendily and helpful
nothing to dislike
There were no unpleasant surprises at this hotel. It was exactly what I expected.
It's noisy in the early morning--apparently a lot of the people staying here are trying to catch an early ferry. Although a hotel cannot stop people from being rude, if what I'm thinking about the ferry is true, they might want to try to be a little more aware of noise in the parking lot early in the morning. The first morning I was awakened at 6:38--the next morning by 5:30.
Easy access to waterfront, ferry.
For non-waterfront-facing rooms, the prices seemed high for a very ordinary "motel" feel.
Very well located for exploring Olympic Natonal Park.
Somehow without any climate, as all Port Angeles. Overpriced.
