the view and being close to a walking trail

dirty coffee maker... very bad! also could hear every word of people above, and floors creak like we were on a old ship. the room smelled musky, beds warn in to old, one bed only had sheets, glad we had two to choose from. the tiles in the bathroom were not clean floors and walls were in need of a deep cleaning. over all disappointed

The rooms were very attractive and had everything needed for a comfortable stay, thank you.

No plastic bags in the trash containers, maybe just an over site but a needed in my opinion.

The location was close to everything.

The ocean view was great. The rooms were clean.

The restaurant bar service was terrible. The wait staff was unorganized and randomly came to the table.

. On arrival, I was informed that the booking comapny (your firm) cancelled my reservation. Fortunatley, there was "room in the Inn" and we were accommodated. On the day prior to our departure, I tried to verify the reservation with your firm. I entered the booking number as requested and got the reply that the number (which I took off your confirmation) I supplied was not correct. Fortunately, the Red Lion staff took care of everything to our satisfaction

We were taking the Blackball Ferry back to Victoria, so the location was great. We stayed there the night there was a democratic convention and so the bar was not available for happy hour - we did go in for a drink before we realized that it was for the convention and the bartender did not give us happy hour prices and we had to take our drinks into the coffee shop. The room was perfect for us - linens and pillows were good. Front desk staff and waitress at the coffee shop were great. Area around the hotel, if you were walking, was not very tourist conducive at night - bars were rough and not friendly. We would stay here again, because of the proximity to the ferry and hopefully the Crabfish restaurant would be open and a full happy hour in place.

We thought this was a beautiful place--right on the water. We watched the ships go by. What a great place-this is on our list for the future.

It was quiet,clean and comfortable.

I did smell old smoke or maybe a pee smell.I assumed that it came from the air conditioner unit or perhaps because pets are allowed it may haave been a residual odor.

Right on the waterfront. Plenty of parking (but see negative comment later). Walking distance to cafes, shops and restaurants.

It is a big, sprawling hotel, a lot of rooms in two or three wings. A huge parking lot, but that means you may have to park a distance away from your room. On arrival at the room the internet connection wasn't working and on enquiry I was informed it would be fixed in "about 5 minutes". Still nothing 30 minutes later so went and had dinner and it was working when I came back. The room furnishings are outdated - old fashioned dark wood furniture, beige carpet, serviceable but just old.

The extended check out on our last day was very handy. Coffee at reception area was a real treat. Free water was a nice touch.

Pool towels a little small. Pool surroundings at this location a little stark and people are somewhat on display. A cedar hedge maybe?

Comfy and clean. Staff super friendly.

The front desk check in was very pleasant. I loved the food that the attached restaurant offered.

Location to the Ferry system and the room was very comfortable.

Price seemed a little high and there was no complementary breakfast for the price.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff at the front desk were very curteous and willing to assist us with finding good local places to eat. We are planning to stay at this hotel again in the near future as we look to Port Angeles as our weekend away destination.

It would be nice to have had a microwave and fridge in the room. We had brought some items that required refridgeration from our previous hotel and unfortunately had to through it out because there was no fridge.

Dirty towels in room upon arrival. room service didnt bring up ice bucket we requested. Hairs on sheets.

The location and the staff were great, very helpful and accommodating. The window in the room opened!

The facilities are old and in need of freshening up. The hallways are dark and smelly. There is no elevator, which is fine except when you have to carry your bags up and down the stairs. The bathroom could definitely use more storage surfaces.

Location, patio, size of room, restaurant, exercise room,walking path.

No dressing area in room. No table in room or on patio.

The location on the water was great. It was nice to be close to the farmers market, the shops and the ferry terminal.

No elevator.

I was very unhappy with our stay. The room was over priced for what it is. No coffee in the room. The shower curtain was moldy. Bed was uncomfortable.The resturant was closed because of a pipe break. I booked a special get away for my boyfriend and I. We came from Tacoma. With the reputation of Red Lion - I thought high class. But for $222.00 we should have stayed at the motel 6. Not even a view of the ocean or free breakfast the the price. I will never recommend this to anyone. In fact I will do the opposite. It's Tuesday and my spouse and I are still talking about how disappointed we are with the stay. We stayed in room 269 on 7/14/2011.
