Some rooms get way too much noise from Max trains and we had to change rooms. Need more sound proof windows. Great connection to Max and streetcar.

Wonderful location right by the convention centre, it really couldn't be any closer. Comfortable beds, spacious room, pleasant bathroom. The windows are thin and so the noise from outside can get quite loud. Note that the reception desk offers complimentary ear plugs that are very, very good.

Location My room didn't have any heat, it smelled musty and there were two plug-in heaters in the closet to use for heat that were noisy and kept me up all night. Not what I would expect from a $100.00 a night room.

I was disappointed over the ventilation of bathroom/shower, none (no ventilation, a room fan only),,,I feel too much money charged for not having this; and there should have been a breakfast inlcuded; otherswise very good.

It was walking distance to the Rose Quarter The room was super small, no microwave, the fridge froze all of our food, the parking was an extra $12 a day, the key to our room stopped working because they only made it for one day-no apologies from the desk worker, noisy street. Would not stay again.

I liked the central location in the city and that there was alternative transportation close. The staff very nice and explained my room location and offered service should I need any other things. I liked Starbucks and many restuarants close. That parking cost was so much even though there was parking in the hotel property. I saw I could have parked half a block away for five dollars, which was seven dollars less for the same time limit. I over heard the desk clerk saying he was not sure of any thing going on at the convention center when asked by a guest who was checking in. I was down for the VegFest myself and let the guest know it was going on through the weekend. I enjoyed it! The room was good but door was tight and had to push hard to open.

The room and facilities were of a high standard. All in all a nice place to stay. Great location for getting to where you need to be in the city. The air conditioning system was extremely loud, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The 12 dollar parking fee was a bit high.

Easily accessible by light rail from railway station and airport (still within free rail zone, which may change!, But a day pass costs only 5 usd); large room; good ventilation, though a bit loud; possible to open window; fridge; coffee; I also used the laundry facilities which was very helpful. One night was very loud with young people next door chatting until 4am; although there are a few payable breakfast options, a buffet-type breakfast would be nice.

1-We get there to find out the resturant over looking city was closed to public because of a reunion.. So we had to go walking around to find a place to eat since our dinner plans were ruined.. Just to find out the cafe downstairs was serving the same food.. Later that night we went to eat downstairs and they were out of redbull for our drinks and out of dinner rolls... 2-We get to our room and there is wad weird black stuff in the tub.. Plus the shower/bath looked so old and used it was gross.. Plus the lotion in the bathroom was obviously used. 3-We were given a room not only by an exit but also right next to the trimet bus.. So every few min a bus thing would go by and it litterally shakes the head bored! 4-4:30Am... All the drunk reunion folks were slamming the exit door directly by our room..being very!!! Loud.. 5-No pool or even a hot tub 6-you have to pay to park at the hotel your paying to stay at???? Wow We came to the city for our wedding anniversary.. I wanted a nice dinner and your website showed a nice resturant over looking city.. Redrobin down the st was not my idea of a good anniversary dinner.... And the 4:30am drunks in the hall was not my idea of a peaceful nights sleep. We wasted our hard earned money on your hotel and will never stay there again.

I love the 1060's style Windows Lounge and the large 6th floor patio connected to it with the beautiful view of Downtown Portland and the Willamette river with all the bridges. I liked the Seally Posterpedic Pillowtop Bed. I did not like the spinach artichoke dip at Windows. It was the worst I have ever tasted and made me not want to try any of the other food. The service was not that friendly. It made me really mad that we had to pay an additional 12 dollars for parking in their garage and I believe some sort of extra $20 "incidentals" fee. There was a loud stomping kid that woke us up early and ruined our morning--not the hotel's fault but when I called to complain they did not effectively take care of the issue.

It has a decent bar with a view on the 6th floor. Its old and run down. The HVAC systems sound like a small plane taking off everytime it comes on (we check three different rooms on two different floors all the same), the only good thing is when it comes on you no longer have to listen to the people in the next rooms TV set nor their conversation. It was a nice place in the 70's, but little has been done to up date the facility. Beds were like sleeping on ply wood (hard) pillows were like 18 inches square...whats that? Etc etc etc...none of it satisfactory.
