Check in staff
Distance to public transit, downtown, bars, and restaurants. Clean, fair sized rooms and an ok view
My view wasnt so nice, and it was a little spendy for the quality.
Dirty carpet, elevator, and terrible coffee
Close to Moda Center
One elevator out of service and the other being used to haul furniture. Smallest elevator I have ever been in. No continental breakfast. Lounge out of service. Carpets disgusting. $14.00 to park in lot. No adjoining rooms. No balcony. On hot days it is hot in rooms because the air system can't cool that building (staff admitted this). Maids in hallway fraternize loudly outside your door. One computer available in lobby. Building needs to be toppled and start over rather than the planned renovation. Better options in area for equal costs
Run down, sketchy elevator
Very convenient to the rail service.
Bar closes too early.
Nice staffs, really helpful. Good location easy to take the bus/tram to downtown Portlant.
The hotel is too old. And facility is old as well. Queen beds are too big that I occupied lot of space. has not enough plug seat.
Facilities need some work, e.g. one elevator was broke.
good location but run down and definitely not worth the price
upon entering the hotel i could smell weed. the hotel has two elevators, one is broken so the elevator wait is extremely long. i waited 10 minutes for an elevator and ended up taking the stairs to the 5th floor. i wouldn't stay here even if the rooms were less than $100
Bed was comfortable
Everything was dirty. Supposedly hotel is shutting down for renovation in a few weeks…hopefully it's done with a wrecking ball
We were not told that they were closing to start a remodel. We did not feel that the building had been well taken care of for a while. If I had known this was happening I probably would not have chosen this hotel. I hope the remodel is awesome.
The location was convenient and the room was clean and comfortable.
The website did not mention that the lounge was being remodeled and parking was $14 per day.
Very good restaurant on premises
No good restaurants in the vicinity. They are about to remodel, and that is good. The facility is aging and worn.
There is a fan to drown out the noisy tram
Fan had to run constantly as there is no air conditioner... but it is also needed to drown out the noise of traffic and the tram. Parking is costly, $14/day. It should be included as it is rather expensive to stay here and not many amenities. Anyone would be able to get in via stairs.
location and friendliness of staff
noise of cars passing by during the night
the view, reminiscent not generic
Location to Moda center and transport.
Only one elevator working. Hotel needs renovation. I believe it is closing soon for that.
Was close to the convention center, the biggest plus. Right next to a Denny's.
The place was a little beat up. The room was fine. It didn't seem to have air conditioning. We overlooked the parking lot.
Very run down hotel for the price
Outdated and overpriced
I saw all of the bad reviews after I already booked the hotel and was a little nervous to what it would be like. It was a great experience. Beds were SO comfortable, the staff was very helpful in telling us about the city, computer and printer available for use, free wifi, showers were great, refrigerator in room. Also amazing location right next to the metro stop so it was easy to get to the market and everything.
The elevator was a TAD slow, it WAS NOT that bad. People were being very dramatic in their reviews.
Staff was friendly
There was little to no parking spots available during our stay and we had to pay for parking on the street during our stay.
large rooms, hotel is in a great location with light rail right outside the door that can take you all over the city. the restruant offers a great breakfast menu.
Staff's courteous behaviour
The heavy deodorizer smell to cover cigarettes and the fact that the hotel is about to close and is need of a major rehab.
