Score from 347 reviews Very good
The room was wonderful, view of the serene pool..views were terrific, loved the walk thru the canyon floor and the proximity to Snow Canyon State Park...awesome park!! Food was healthy, but delicious..LOVES that its pet friendly..will bring mine next time!
just a squeaky door that we did report when we left..no big deal
The room was lovely.. a couch and refrigerator would be nice. Glad we had a car so we could do whatever on our own
The pool area was pitiful..not even drinking water...walked to the restaurant to buy a smoothie.. .melted by the time I returned. Food was bad and expensive so enjoyed the local restaurants instead ,which were excellent....front desk staff not very helpful. Pretty hefty prices on tours.
Quiet, relaxing, beautiful. Lots to do and see or just read and rest. Perfect vacation for what we needed!
Hard to sleep with A/C. Getting more circulated air from outside is preferred.
Very quiet and peaceful.
There was nothing we didn't like.
The resort is close to the Tuachan outdoor theater making it convenient if you are going to a performance. Breakfast buffet was not just routine, but they put a special twist on everything to increase flavor and interest. There are tons of activities scheduled each day. Swimming pools are clean and well cared for for a relaxing day
Getting around in the resort area was a little confusing with the parking area/roadway overlap, but not any big problem.
I had a wonderful stay - the staff was do friendly and helpful. The melt class was an unexpected surprise!
The only staff member who was average was the man who checked us in. He wasn't overly friendly, didn't smile much and didn't offer much information - a contrast to every other staff member.
The atmosphere and the pool and hot tub
Need more variety for breakfast choices.
Snow Canyon location. Spa Sanctuary. I really wanted this to be a peaceful, healthy rest. There was not any pampering.
Asked for room with a view of desert red ledges. Got a view underneath stairwell. Asked for a quiet room. Given a room underneath and next to loud people. Upstairs people used bathroom all night and I could hear every drip and drop. Resort only 1/2 full. Could have been in a quiet space. Pillows terrible. Asked for a soft, small pillow. Received a large, hard pillow. Refrigerator was noisy. It would fall off a precarious shelf whenever I tried to open the door.
Red Mountain Resort helped me to leave the stress of my job behind and created an opportunity for me to focus on enjoying nature and my well being.
That my planned trip to RM was too short.
nice place to stay - relaxing
cell phones not allowed in dining area the greenery of the grounds
couldn't stay connected on the internet while in our room. Refrigerator in room closet was not stable. It tilted when weight shifted
The villa was amazing. Exceptionally clean, modern, and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful with great landscaping and incredible views. The hot tub and pool were clean and enjoyable. The food was very good!
The signs were confusing upon entering, and we couldn't find where to check in. It wasn't very clear what was included in our package, and we kept having to ask if it would cost us more money. It seems they try to upsell you on everything. There are no refrigerators in the villas so that you have to buy food and water from them. A great free buffet breakfast was included, but they tried to upsell us on a paid breakfast. During dinner on the patio six yellow jackets swarmed our food, we had to leave our food and the table, and the staff didn't apologize or seem to care. We didn't partake in any of the excursions as they were very expensive.
After hours snack/vendingmachine since the hotel is very isolated. More towel hangers. Later hrs for dinner especially one return late from nat parks and exhausted
Healthy food, great program, amazing view, good rooms, good location
Restaurant close at 8pm which is too early. Service doesn't always match the standard of the facility
Great location near the Snow Canyon Park with gorgeous views of the red cliffs Provided food is healthy and pretty tasty coming from a omnivore Friendly service An hour away from Zion National Park
WiFi was a bit slow. My sister had large files to work on and had some trouble getting it done. For basic emailing needs it was adequate.
Staff were friendly and accomodating.spa facilities and services were excellent.
Fantastic surroundings Nice and pleasant atmosphere Good fitness facilities Nice swimming pools
Everything was just perfect
If you want to relax in immense beauty and also have a fabulous amount of daily activities available this is the place to be! There is always something interesting to do, or just getting r and r in a hammock or lovely pool. Nice spa features, though a bit pricey. We would return in a heartbeat. Basic rooms are awfully small- we stayed in what they call casitas or owner's units. Larger- more expensive, but worth it to us
I did not realize we were so far away from being able to eat at other restaurants. We had a breakfast plan- which was excellent, but having dinners in the dining room was very pricey( tho good salad bar) if you went nightly, and the entrees were of uneven quality. Cold baked potato, overlooked steak. But organic in quality. Even so, consider having all meals there, driving around looking for food is a huge inconvenience. Housekeeping does not change sheets often if you are there over 5 days- big negative in hot weather. For the room charges, daily sheets should be a must.
Location, recreational amenities
Limited food selection at meals
Staff was friendly, food was good and healthy, activities were plentiful. Beautiful location. Some other guests did not like the food as much -- there were Mexican and Indian influences, but I like these. Great place for solo travel.
I did not like that I was expected to tip tour guides after paying for an excursion on top of the daily fee.
Location was beautiful Food was to die for
Staff should give wifi username and password immediately at check in Staff should also explain packages and rates (what is included, what is not) at check-in Tours were very expensive. The rates were not clear until the charges were given after the tour
location-we did a lot of active outdoor activities on our own-Zion and Snow Canyon Parks are close and can provide a lot of exersise for little expense. breakfast included in stay was great and options at dinner were nice also.
i don't think the website was clear about pricing of activities. they listed the prices for group hikes, horse riding and kayaking etc but failed to mention or didn't make it easy to see on site that fitness classes on site are 35$ class
What a beautiful place! With amazing staff! We loved our stay - and wished we could have stayed longer! You feel relaxed within minutes of arriving!
