Beautiful hotel..great room..we are locals and it was off the strip just what we wanted.
Lost my booking.com reservation but I had the app on my phone so I pulled it up and showed it to them. I called booking.com from the front desk and they did show I had a room. Red Rock did honor the reservation stating that they would fax it to booking.com. Next day after we checked out I got an email from booking.com stating that Red Rock Resort reported us as a no show. I called booking and they called red rock and made sure they didn't charge us again because Red Rock wanted to charge us for not showing up. Thank goodness for Booking.com cause they went to bat for us and made Red Rock Resort credit my account
The rooms were beautiful.
Quiet place, Good Food, prive and nice views.
Hotel was away from traffic, noise, and crowds of strip. Room had nice view although the Canyon was more distant than expected and you do see the pool and other buildings in front. stayed close to elevator (recommend 12th floor and up, odd rooms -101 to -111). Kids had lots of options to entertain themselves--bowling, movies, arcade..and they enjoyed the food court. Swimming pool was too cold (dec) but we did use the hot tubs. Buffets at Feast was delicious and abundant.
First room we stayed in was covered in a layer of dust (but change of rooms was easy). "King" bed looked more like a queen size. Casino was smokey, and smoke drifted into restaurants which were all on the same level. Fridge was packed full of hotel snacks, so could not use for own food. The fridge and snack tray has sensors so any food that is even accidentally moved is automatically charged to the room--check bill at end of stay.

Mini bar situation. Felt like the hotel did not trust their guests. Also no coffee in the room.
Sunday brunch was definitely worth the $6.99 added on to the room fee. With our tickets, we took 7 people including 2 small children to spend 2 hours of delightful & precious time together. The pool in the center is heated & I saw two people in the hot tub but the temps were 45 degrees or below. Lovely courtyard to look at with a beautiful view of the mountains! I would recommend the drive up there or better yet, hiking trails!
A smoke filled casino is difficult to walk through to get to restaurants. I would not stay in a casino again. People were friendly but expect serious lines at some of the restaurants. An hour wait for Friday & Saturday nites at some venues. Very crowded time. The complimentary refrig is so full of expensive items, not even one vial of insulin can be added. Do not hesitate to ask for the bar to be removed to a high shelf if toddlers/children are present. The key cards did not work well, be prepared for extra hassles like going down to the main desk to have new ones made. Guests need a key for the elevators to get upstairs from the casino floor. Room service was really nice, tax & tip are added in already so of course a simple breakfast of coffee, 3 rolls & juice turns into $40! When paying for breakfast with your room as we did, the front desk forgot to give us our tickets to the buffet in the casino. The printer network was down so the promised boarding passes could not be produced. Be prepared for an extra $5 for printing them at the airport.
A lot of things to do at the resort. The rooms are very nice and spacious. We stayed on the 14th floor with the mountain and pool view.
The first day & a half they were doing construction the room a couple doors down & the noise was very loud first thing in the morning. Breakfast was included with my room and I was given vouchers to use each morning of my stay. Christmas morning the hotel restaurant would not accept the voucher and wanted $25. 95. I had a massage at the spa and the sauna was not working.

Cashiers at the buffet not abservant to need of guests. Two working at non hotel guest line and totally ignoring hotel guests in their posted line. With other guests behind us, waited for over 15 min. Had prepaid lunch tickets so we didn't leave.
The view of the desert mountains was very nice!
We thought that the Feast Buffet food offered lacked much flavor.

Loved the design of the hotel. It is definitely a 5 star with all the details; in your room you have everything from nuance lighting to a person scale.
The room was fantastic but unfortunately not super clean. The walls need to be wash really bad and the shower drain was plugged.

housekeeping seemed to be missing details like leaving us soap, shampoo and towels. Had to call to get these items and leave a note the following days. They did follow up promptly so it was really a minor issue.

the casino was the nosiest casino I have been in. the music was to loud! Our door made noise every time our neighbor closed his door. I felt like the casino was not there for service, but for money only. there were no comps, but they did want to fill our in room bar right away, which is expensive to use.

Signage to the hotel entrance (not casino) itself is very poor. From the parking structure it only has "casino" not "hotel" entrance.
The pool and spa were the best thing. They were the only things that didn't sting your wallet.
Charges for ATMs. Being charged an additional 100+ dollars a day for the rooms that made us go overdrawn. Receptionist advised we wouldn't be charged as the deposits of 100+dollars were part of the final fee. This was wrong. Charged for almost everything you did and used and the location is to far out. Got food poisoning in grande cafe where I was still charged. Building works on our floor!!! And we were at the far end of the building so it was a mission to get to room. And we couldn't check in at 3pm. We had to wait over three hours for our room to be ready.
Too many pillows and cushions on the bed
The Red Rock is in the neighborhood I grew up in. It has beautiful, clean, comfortable rooms and the price makes it so that we can stay here a few nights a month and act like we are on vacation. The buffet is priced far below most casinos and has awesome food. My girlfriend and I will definitely be regulars here.
The ice machines on the 3rd floor of the hotel need to be cleaned badly. There was built up mineral deposits seeping out of the top of the dispenser. Aside from that the mini bar in room 3137 was very sensitive. We didn't touch it at all and it charged me for gummy bears and peanuts. Lol.
The on-site steak house was very good. Service there was good.
Hotel staff and security was very cold, impersonal, and rude. We will not return.
Great rooms with phantastic view to the Red Rock Canyon. Nice pool area. Good Restaurants with fair pricing.
