Bed leaned, cleanliness
the staff is not very friendly
We found at least 5 cockroaches in the room and could not even stand to stay one night in this discusting place.
This place is a dump. The room smelled horrible, the bedspreads were dirty, and the floor was sticky. There was trash and nasty graffiti everywhere. Three room keys did not work.
Nothing the place was horrible
does not clean had black mildew on the bathroom wall had a roach in the bathtub had no iron or ironing board the linen on the bed was stained the comforter on the bed had smoke holes in it,can the mattress was sunk in and the carpet by the bed at pet hair on it
The staff were so rude and I had to cancel the room I booked. I told her the guy with my is a driver he is leaving. She asked for his id or "she will come inside the room to check". Hate the place
The second room they had to change me to was nice & clean
Had issue and manager immediately switched my room.
Walked into room, roach crawling on bed. Rooms were switched but blanket in next room had stains that looked like bodily fluids. Took 4ever to get clean blanket. Won't go back.
Rude counter staff, room smelled like smoke, dirty bed linens and carpet! Not worth the 60$ nor the headache!
It was quiet..clean and staff was great
Location was horrible. There was a lady that looked homeless sat out front of the lobby our entire stay-we did not feel safe at all at this hotel. Someone put transgender call girl/guy business cards on our door. Unacceptable!!
The staff was terrible. I left a key for a friend at the front desk but the staff refused to give it to him even after I got on the phone with them. Staff made him pay for his own room on busiest night in Austin.

Reported unusual noise. Mgr to check on it but never heard from him.
These rooms were semi-renovated, so it was nice to rest in comfort at the Red Roof Inn in Austin, Texas. Enjoyed the clean smelling bed and contemporary look of the rooms. Other than that, would recommend again, the location is North Austin and not centrally located. Again, good value for a newer room. Perhaps, the rooms that the other reviewers stayed in were variable - I'd just ask for a new room.
Was a good location for i35
When the shower was on the smell of mould was bad. My a/c leaked during the night, the staff switched my room quickly for me, even in the second room there was the smell of mould. As a solo traveller i didn't feel comfortable staying here, especially when coming and going when dark. Second room had a embedded dirty footprint on the bed clothes, other bed in room was fine so i slept there.
Liked how conveniently located they were to everything. Easy to get to. The staff was nice.
The inside was clean but the outside seemed a little dirty. It did not help that there was a girl sitting outside w/all of her bags, looking like she had no where to go. She was sitting on the ground when we arrived, right at the entrance, and when we left the next morning she was still there but was sitting in another location. Made you feel like you were at a homeless shelter. The rooms looked so much nicer on the website. We were staying one night here in Austin and one night at Motel 6 in Fredericksburg, Tx. I just did not want to spend very much on either motel since we were spending only one night at each. I thought this would be the better of the 2 motels but surprisingly, Motel 6 was much nicer. Hate to say it but, just a little too tacky for my taste and I am not picky at all.
Waited about 25 minutes for front clerk to come to office to check in and to check out.
The rate was exorbitant because of an event we were attending, but I think, based on the state of the place, the rate is still way too high. The staff upon checkout was rude and unhelpful not only to me, but every other guest that was in the lobby (it seems every one had an issue with their room or bill). There were no towels in the rooms and the rooms were filthy...I slept fully clothed. I have so much more to say, but don't want to bore you. Those are the highlighted issues we endured during our stay. I definitely DO NOT recommend this place.
The room was very nasty
The housekeeper was nice and did a good job.
The room was no smoking and it reeked of smoke so bad....it was a pretty cheap place and seemed unsafe and seedy.
Inebriated gentleman urinating off the balcony and yelling at my daughters. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and we killed several cockroaches. We even switched rooms, and there were roaches in the "new" room as well. Disgusting place. They did refund my money, we found a new place to stay.
This place was like being in ghetto. I was supposed to stay week there left after 1 night. Very shady people hanging in parking lot. Hotel nothing like pictures. My car alarm went off 4 times finally at 5 am loaded my car and left. At this time in am shady people hanging out in parking lot!!!!
