Wifi worked good and bed was comfortable
The bathroom fan was exceptionally loud and came on every time you turned the lights on in the bathroom. No way to not have the fan run and it was noisy enough to wake up anyone sleeping in the main room. We also saw a roach in the main room. Very unhappy with this Red Roof Inn. We've stayed at others without incident.
Nice room with updated furnishings
I was given the opportunity to switch rooms
The front desk person was not friendly.
The bed was so comfortable. I liked the hard wood floors. It was nice to have free WiFi. The price was great. The front office staff were very friendly. The housekeeping staff were okay but didn't go out of their way to be as friendly - no greetings when I passed and spoke.
There wasn't anything that I encountered that I did not like.
It had a microwave and mini frig in the room even though you could only use one at a time due to the outlet. I did not expect either
All non smoking
This place was sneaky good. Literally - it's kind of hard to find off the Interstate exit. However, once you do it's a great little find. Rooms were reasonably priced and very clean. The best parts of Chapel Hill are about a 10 minute drive away, and overall this is a great place to stay if you're in town for a night or two and are on a budget.
Not necessarily a bad thing, but FYI they're pet friendly for one dog only per room.
A place to stay at a reasonable price
No desk chair to sit and work
Check out is 11am. At approx 10:30 maid knocked and I asked her for a few additional minutes that we were still in the room. A second made knocked and then used her key and walked in on my boyfriend who was standing there naked. He was mortified and I was furious.
Everything was as presented online. Clean and comfortable rooms, quiet, and available parking, and smoke free environment, a plus. Thanks red roof inn,
Unlighted access driveway to inn.
Recent remodel has made it beautiful. Price. Wifi is blazing fast.
Nothing. Stay here! You won't regret it.
excellent cleanliness. Felt safe.
Bathroom fan VERY loud. AC fan also load and hard to regulate temperature.
Location, was there to take Daughter to UNC Hospital for appointment. Employees were helpful and it was easy to find .
Close to everything we needed to be for homecoming at UNC but just far enough off campus
The room was dirty, there were no towels, nobody was about to service the room until am and when they did, they just ask for used towels. I had to walk to laundry and beg for more, the rude lady only have me two. I had to but my own at Wal-Mart. One staff member did everything she could but manager was unavailable the whole weekend.
Very clean with modern uodates. Loved that the room did not have carpet,
No in room coffee
type of guests
The room was very clean and we loved the non carpet floors. The bed was very comfortable. Overall an enjoyable experience for the price!
We couldn't connect to WiFi. We didn't get very good sleep, due to rowdy guests all throughout the night. Also, the walls are very thin!!! We could hear every toilet and shower around us.
The remodeled rooms were a pleasant surprise. We will definitely consider the Red Roof Inn for future trips to visit our daughter in Chapel Hill.
A sign showing the turn when driving from Chapel Hill would be nice.
No hairdryer no iron.
I like the fact that it is a non-smoking facility. I also like the location which was very accessible to where we needed to go.
There were no towels or toiletries in the room. I had to go to the front desk to get towels, but no toiletries were offered. It's a good thing we had our own soap.
Low price & right off the interstate
Called and asked if rooms were available and I was told no. Had to book online instead
Upon arrival, cliental was disturbing in parking lot, concerned for my safety and realized i could not stay. Multiple men in parking lot very dubious at best. Multiple men hanging out in balconies jesturing to others to come out of room upon pulling in. Went to desk to notify I could not stay there and feared that I was at risk for rape as well as personal safety. Desk clerk young lady who just said sorry in a calm voice. Was also concerned for her safety, but she seemed non-chalant. Over 7 of the men suddenly appeared in front desk area for no apparent reason and I left immediately. They were staring and gawking at me. Quickly as i left, one of the men jumped into his vehicle and followed me and I had to run stop lights and make multi-turns to not have him follow or find me. I spent quite I bit of time reporting this incident officially to red roof. I am shocked to find a blazay text from your company. The police obviously should have been notified for me to receive this text! I will never stay at a red roof. I am an experienced ER NURSE, travelled in the Middle East, Central America extensively. The episode on your property was inexcusable. I am street smart and this hotel should be investigated and likely shut down. At the least, I deserve more than this generic text. My experience will be shared with any who needs to travel in this area.
No carpeting! It felt so much cleaner.
Did not have a fridge..did not need a safe.
mold on walls, floors, and bedding and dried liquid-throw up looking substance on desk chair
Nice room. Friendly staff. Close to UNC. Great price.
It was very confusing how to turn into the red roof in coming from chapel hill. My room smelled like cigarette smoke even though it's a smoke free environment.
