The fact that they have two cleaners and it takes them ages to clean the rooms
Very nice, clean and a very helpfull staff. Close to anything you want to do.
Staff was friendly.. Room was clean and neat.Bed was comfortable.. The pool was great... Over all had a good stay.
Breakfast could have more.... I have 3 young kids that all eat different things. They only had cold cereal's and waffles...but it's worth the money...
The location and access to Wifi..the breakfast was ok.
The appearance of the elevator and stairway was poor...it looked as if it is never cleaned...the carpet in the hallway was dirty. The room didn't have pictures on the wall, the refg. was dirty and the shower curtain had stains on it...the bathroom is small...
The price was right, It was near the theatre and the outlets.
The bathroom did not seem that clean as there were black things in the tub. I have no idea what it was but I felt uncomfortable using the shower. The quilt seems worn and not the cleanest and the kitchen was overcrowded, there was only country crock and not butter. There was no oil spray for the waffle iron and everyone's waffles were sticking to the iron. The girl there had no idea what to do about it and could not locate any oil spray for the iron.
Everything. Room was filthy. Pillowcase had blood spots on it. Bottom sheet had a brown stain on it and burnt holes. The room was non-smoking but it smelt of stale smoke. Remote control had no back on it - you had to press on the batteries at the back to make it move. The key mat on the door kept falling off everytime we opened or shut the door or if someone else shut their door. The rug was so dirty I was afraid to walk on it.
I like that everithing was very close to the hotel, and the staff y really friendly!
I didn't like that every corner around the building were full of spider webs, and some times even huge spiders coming over us! And the coffee is the wors i ever have!!
The room was clean and the TV was updated to a flat screen. The air conditioning was working fine and we had enough towels.
The bottom of the tub was chipped and was badly repainted. I used a hand towel to step on when using the shower.
closeness to the shopping area and good eating places near
Everything, dirt, food crumbs, flith, noise, soiled couch, hair in sink, paper thin walls.
PLACE IS IN DISREPAIR. ROOMS NEED UPDATING. EVERYTHING IS OLD AND IN BAD CONDITION.
Furniture needs to be updated
WiFi worked, staff was polite.
Poor parking for the number of rooms, overflow parking was available though. Hot breakfast was only make your own waffles each day. OJ was Tang, not OJ.
Wi-Fi was down for nearly full 24 hours Very inconvenient if you plan to work Wet spot on carpet near bathroom door Tub seams moldy and tub appeared unclean Nightly rate for quality of hotel
Red Roof allows dogs, felt safe and the bed and pillows were comfortable. It was cleaner, however, than the Days Inn.
Rooms ought to be cleaner - seemed like bathroom floor had not been cleaned in a while. At 9 am "cleaning" staff, rather than knock, tried to walk in.
The location was great
The awning on the deck should be opened in morning. Also the tables should be washed. Nice place to relax and read or eat lunch just a bit sunny and always had to bring something out to clean the tables.
There was only 1 staff member to check you in & answer phone calls (on a Fri. night)! Took awhile to check in. Went to the room to find no bath towels. We didn't check in until 4-4:30, so not sure why we wouldn't have towels. Took another 15 min. waiting in line to get waited on for towels. Lamps & alarm were not plugged in. Later to find out the reason for the alarm to be unplugged is the radio would not shut off (broken). Next morning, looked under bed to make sure we did not forget anything as we were packing, & found used cups, bowls, etc. from previous guests. I just got the feel that the owners probably employ as little people as they can to save money & it shows!
Female clerk was kind and helpful.
bath shower not clean, mold in corners. some type of material on wall by light switch and across from mirror. Elevator was filthy, walls not clean the three days we were there. System was down when we arrived and could not get our room, had to go elsewhere the first night.
This hotel was not only perfectly priced but it is in a perfect location. Our primary reason for staying here was so we could be close to Dutch wonderland and it was great because we could literally walk there if we wanted to. There are many restaurants and stores around which was great because we were hungry and forgot some items so it was easy for us to solve those problems. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast in the morning was just what we needed to start our day! We even got to spend a little time in the pool which was very clean. This was our first time staying at a Red Roof Inn but definetly will not be our last!
Pool area was nice for kids.
Beds were very hard as well as pillows. Air conditioner worked ok.
location great next to Dutch Wonderland, pool a nice feature, laundry handy. desk staff try to be helpful.
our room had a huge leak from bathtub - don't know how cleaning staff missed/didn't report it. carpets soaked, floor in bathroom coming up. Mold all around tub, walls peeling. ABSOLUTELY NO PLACE TO PUT CLOTHES. There for 2 nights with grandkids and had to live out of suitcases. there's a desk (who needed it?) without a storage drawer, How do you have a motel without a dresser, something. Bkfast room way too small for the number of guests and not kept clean. When I asked staff to please clean up tons of spilled waffle batter, etc. was told "it's hard to get in there." juice all over the floor and not cleaned up (I did it). so people don't fall. won't stay there again.
A lot of space in the room. Enough to sleep myself, my husband and our three small children. Rooms were pretty well sound proofed although hallways were not.
Poor drainage around pool area/elevator meant walking through large puddles to get to our room. Key card had to be reconfigured each time we returned to our room because they wouldn't work. "Breakfast" consisted of making your own waffles and orange juice and coffee which was disappointing since we expected a full continental breakfast.
The pool, the staff, the cleanliness.
Next to Texas Roadhouse and IHOP.
Breakfast ended to early for us.
