The only problem was before I got there and the concierge said she could only get a car for me from the airport. She said she didn't know of other transportation. It worked out but I had to find the nyc airport er myself. No thanks to her. I was worried about the stay but it was great after that. We just didn't ask for her help the rest if the stay. 1st time to New York but we figured it out.
We stayed for six nights, the beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Shower was great. Breakfast was good and consisted of bagels, waffles/pancakes, yoghurt, fruit etc. Wi-fi was excellent. Just a short walk from Empire State Building. Overall a great stay! Will stay there again.
Locality was excellent. Also good value.
Lifts can be in demand at certain times.
The Location, and the young girl who works at the front of the Hotel and the cleaning ladies who cleaned our room.
The breakfast was very basic. One of the waiters was rude and grumpy at the breakfast sitting. The elevator was the slowest I have ever been in.
location was awesome
elevators seemed very slow at busy times
Very clean. Bed was very comfortable. No noise.
Tiny breakfast room, Slow elevator, Dirty floor in room, Price
Front desk needs to be more efficient regarding payment procedure particularly at the time of Check in.
Breakfast too poor and the room for the breakfast is too small. My keys didn't work, had to wait more than 3:00 hours. We asked for a microwave but we didn't get and nobody knew if there was one available. Staff was not kind or friendly at anytime.
Great location. Great location.
Elevators were slow.
Proximity to restaurants
Lack of seating in lobby; very very long wait for elevators, and often had maintenance staff in them with large items; Wi-fi access provided limited access to websites with forms (couldn't book my train on their wifi)
Location Value for money Free Wifi Breakfast included Staff very friendly and helpful Coffee maker and fridge Size of room Bath We moved rooms upon request.
Smell from Korean restaurants next door Noisy Ice machine in corridor - kept us awake Tile floors in corridor so noisy when people are waling around. Avoid 2nd floor as breakfast room is on this floor and noisy
Location was great
Breakfast was terrible. Limited choice, self-served with paper plates and people standing in corridor to eat. Not enough elevators so had to climb to and from 15th floor.
Slow lifts, poor breakfast, and lack of seating. New roof top bar, be careful and ask first for the price of a short I.e. Brandy, got fleeced $50.
Location was great, the room was clean and very quiet
Room was very tight, no room to move. Two lifts for the hotel were also inadequate to cater for the no of guests. WI Fi wouldn't connect in the room but OK in the lobby. The breakfast room was also too small to accommodate the no of guests .
central location close to empire state and Penn station and subway
slow elevator and breakfast room was to small
We were taking the train from Penn Station home, just a short walk from the NYMA. We rode the subway to midtown and caught a play on Sat. night. We ate in Korea town,
I think all hotels in NY are a bit small. We were on the 16th floor so elevators seemed to work with a mind of there own.
Location. You can get walking to nearly everywhere. only in few occations who had to take the subway.
The nearbourhood, too many people, shops, restaurants and noisy. now the 32nd. is called Corea way. The breakfast room was always crowded, too small for so many guests.
Location and reasonable prices for NY
Breakfast place always very crowded
This hotel is very conveniently located for all things you plan to do anywhere in NYC. Arriving at Penn station, it's only a walk to the hotel. Seeing a broadway show or heading up the Rockefeller Centre? Take one or the other metro line just leaving at the corner. Restaurants are also in close distance, especially Korean eateries and Sake bars. Don't expect too much night-life around there though. The water filters in the mezzanine level provides excellent, chloride-free water into the water bottle.
Breakfast was the let-down. Quite poor food there, at least some fresh fruits. The elevators were really too slow for the hotel of this size, cause us to miss one metro as we waited 5 mins to get one. Currently, there are constructions at the facade.
This was our second stay at Nyma. It was the same good as last time. The staff, rooms who are very quiet, location perfekt walking distans to most everything. Last week they even open a rooftop! We will really be back.
Everything about the hotels was great, especially the location
Only issues were; just two lifts and they were very slow. Breakfast room very cramped
All employees were friendly & helpful. Asked to move room that was close to elevator but next room smelled but didn't want to ask to be moved again.
Room was small & had a smell that was initially masked by spray of aerosol.
Great location near to Empire State Building and Macy's and convenient for subway connections at Herald Square.
Dingy decor and room not at all clean. Very slow lift means long waits. Overpriced even for NYC.
