The location of the hotel is great. The renovated lobby is a good look, with the lounge just above is a great space. The inside of the hotel and rooms were clean. 24hr food is available just outside the hotel. Flat screen TV that moves so you can watch in the room. Soap dispensers in the bathroom are better than the little soap bars.
The views out our window was a brick wall and windows into the bank nextdoor. the breakfast in the morning wasnt anything special.
soap dispensers - I would rather have a bar of soap and small bottle of shampoo and conditioner.
Location. Quiet room.
Complimentary cappuccino in the lounge! The guest room was very comfortable, and had windows that open for fresh air. Breakfast was satisfying and there was ample selection, but we went early (7am).
We checked the breakfast room at around 9:30 am, and it was very overcrowded and messy. Outlets in the guest room were not conveniently located. All minor issues. Our stay was still well worth the price.
reasonable priced hotel in a good location for all new york sights
breakfast room was to small and lifts very slow
it was a good stay
i could have use a microwave
good location/quiet room for NYC midtown
elevators too slow for size of place/only 2 available
Location is good - easy to get around the city from here. Room was small but comfortable.
Support for wifi is outsourced, and for the first day of my visit the entire network was down. Fortunately there is a Starbucks with wifi around the corner.
The concier was very accommodating to our early arrival. The room was spotless, the entire staff was friendly.
The internet connection was very slow unable to do some projects I was looking forward to...the wife like that !! Lol Staff was apologetic.
Coming from a retail management background, I was impressed with the level of customer service that began with the concierge. Very friendly greeting with small talk and then we were on our way. The room was pretty spacious and very well priced(especially for NYC prices). I would definitely return to this hotel whenever I travel again.
Good location, quiet room, nice bed. Friendly staff except for consigliere who was not rude, but not really eager to help.
Ridiculously slow elevators. Strange smell in the room.
Provision of basic breakfast, nothing fancy which is a good start for the morning
The elevator is slow
Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Staff were helpful. Continental breakfast was convenient, good and sufficient Price was great, location close to subway and access to hop on hop off buses. Lots of shopping nearby. Concierge knowledgeable.
Only thing I didn't like was that elevators were a bit slow but hotel was busy during my stay.
As many have said the location is excellent, right down the road from the Empire State building and very close to Penn Station and all local subway routes. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. We had a room on the top floor (17th) which was excellent as it was also much quieter. Breakfast was good although very busy and as its quite a small room it got very congested but good bagels always in abundance!
There wasn't much i would say i didnt like.. if anything there was a quiet a long wait for the lift/elevators at peak times as there was only 2 relatively small ones used for both staff and guests.
All things good
No more choices in breakfast
the proximity to the shopping areas, train station, banks etc.
noise until late in the night preventing me from sleeping, inability to secure taxi service on the outside of the building
great location to walk around midtown clean and more modern than expected room size - not at all tiny, same goes for bathroom friendly staff
long wait for elevator breakfast room cramped, nowhere to sit
Room too small.
34th street is close to shopping.
There are only 2 elevators for a tall narrow building. First thing in the morning they are very crowded. Also they can be slow arriving. Breakfast was also crowded.
Reception very welcoming. Free wi-fi which was very quich and easy to use. They had the use of the computers in the lobby. The hotel was situated right next to 34th street so very convientent to get around the city.
Carpets were filthy along with the walls of the room. There were flies in the room. I was accidently booked in a smoking room and the room stank of stale smoke. They refreshed my room with some sort of spray which made it impossible to breath. The breakfast consisted of eggs and bagles and pancakes. there was no service just a wait in line self service. very offputting I would not stay again.
The bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean. Great location. the staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely utilize their concierge service. She was very knowledgeable.
The credit card hold prior to my arrival.
Hotel was clean Location Breakfast included
Staff wasn't overly friendly but they weren't rude
I'm glade with my roon, café, gym.
wifi is terrible.
We had a great upgraded room,
Kora town can be a little confronting.
Good location, 10 minutes walk from Penn Station, when you want to get there travelling from JFK by train. Thus best for backpackers. Nice staff.
Room on 17th floor definitively needs renovation, dirty floor coverings.
