Location is great. Hotel lobby and bar are nice. Staff were always helpful. Despite cool outside air at night, noisy aircon needed because guests forbidden to open window. Loud ice machine at night. Breakfast room was cramped, and items poorly laid out. E.g., toaster at opposite end of counter from bagels. Coffee watery and poor. Overall breakfast quality I would expect from hotel for $75/night, not $400/night. Thus only ate in once. |

Extremely nice room, very nice amenities, liked having microwave, refrigerator and free wireless internet; extremely comfortable bed, quiet floor; like having free continental breakfast included. |

Overall feel of the hotel. Had a wonderful view of Empire State Building from my window. Great location. Staff did not vaccume the room as efficiently as preferred. |

The staff were very helpful. I'd arrived early in the morning from Costa Rica and had an important meeting early in the afternoon. They let me check in early without extra charge so that I could shower/iron my suit etc and make my meeting on time. I also had problems with my foreign bank cards and the staff went out of their way to ensure it didn't adversely affect my stay. |
