First room was not cleaned so had to get another room- then someone else had a key to same room and tried to come in
The cleanliness of the room was sub par. I found crumbs, dirt and empty water bottles under one of the beds. The wifi didnt work at all and the breakfast was sub par as well. The best hotel breakfasts, in my opinion, are the ones that serve hot breakfast foods. Hotel worker let a man into the hotel who was not a guest. Let him in through the parking garage by opeining a door for him that required a hotel room key card to get in. Could have resulted in a fight or burglary of hotel rooms. With guests in town for events such as the game, thieves see this as an opportunity.
I liked that the hotel was close to the river walk and the alamodome. We were in town for the USA vs. Mexico game.
After telling the front deck many times about the room not being clean they still didn't correct the problem.
We've been in the same hotel last year and it was great. Although, this year the room was dirty (they did not even vacuum once), when we arrived there were no towels, in the shower were hair from the guests before, the floor was not clean, the sheets wrinkeld. Unfortunately, the second night the sheets got wet (my daughter had a little accident) and I took them off. I put them in the floor of the room and when we came back late (like 11 p.m.) the sheets were still in the floor and not changed. I was travelling with two kids and a baby and at that hour I had to go down to the front desk to get some clean sheets and change the bed by myself. I think this service should be includes in the price per night. I was really disappointed.
The staff at the front desk was very kind and helpful. They printed out my entrances to SeaWorld, they permitted a late check out, etc.
To be honest this is one of the worst expiencing I have ever had staying in San Antonio. To start check in was horrible the guy at the counter clearly did not want to be there and was not helpful at all! This was even more apparent when he gave us our room keys which omg belong to a booked room! Luckily no was naked in there on anything but goodness pay attention no one wants to be walked into at a hotel which you are suppossed to feel secure in. From there I was always worried if someone might end up with our room key. When we went downstairs to get a new room the receptionist clearly did not care about his mistake. Also please be aware they charge 10$ a day for parking which I don't remember seeing advertised on the site as well as $1.50 to use the safe . Which in my opinion should be a complimentary use . But the stay gets worse when I was going to shower I noticed that the towels they had hung up were dirty !! So I had to get a new towel then to top it off when going to bed the pillow was stained. I immediately called downstairs to make them aware of this and request a new pillow. Again it was like no big deal to them . I was them beginning to wonder if anyone even cleaned this room before our stay. In addition the next day no one even came to clean the room . I was already disgusted with the place I was just glad I would be leaving already . Poor staff, dirty , and a rip off! The only good thing about this place is the location. Won't ever stay here again of recommend

Poor room cleaning.room was never cleaned entire stay. No clean towels had to go to front and ask for some.
Location was great.
Communal areas were dirty, staff was more interested in talking to each other than helping guests.
On our first night we were on the sixth floo, no wi fi although the staff kept saying it would be back on on a few minutes. The Air conditioning was nearly as loud as the traffic outside?
On our second stay we were on the second floor good wi fi and quiet air conditioning
The toilet seat was broken, the air conditioner spit out dirt and these weren't taken care of while we were out working but after we got back at the end of day. Housekeeping didn't replace used towels. Morning food fair left a lot to be desired. The apples were good.
It did supply us with a place to lay our head at the end of a busy work day. This wasn't our first time staying there but the there were a few differences from last year.

The location was perfect for first timers to San Antonio. Not far or difficult to get to AT&T center.
Nice motel. Parking was a treat to leave car in covered area. Breakfast was good and staff was great.
The room needed several repairs. The bed sheets where not changed.
there was no cleaning of the rooms, no wifi, we have stayed at this red roof several times in the past and it was always a good stay. Every time we left our room to go out our room key would not let us back in!! I had to go down to the front desk several times to get help. If my 4 day stay hadn't of been pre-paid then my family would have left!! Also $10 a day to park??? Rediculous!!!
Security coming in our room at 3:15am to see if the room was vacant or not. A simple phone call would have done the trick. Also didn't like the neighbors smoking in their room (out their window) and the smoke coming in my room through the ac. It wasn't cigarettes they were smoking either. We got our parking paid for because if the security issue.
The room we had was great but the shower had a broken shower rod, had to take a bath instead.
The slamming of doors and rowdy neighbors, but problem was solved after we called front desk.
