We liked the fact that we had the parking very close to the elevator and everything was so close to the downtown to were it was easy access to the mall and all the sightseeing places.
What we didn't like is that we had to pay for parking I feel we have paid for the night might as well just allow us to park near the hotel
The rooms were clean. And the cool air from ac was a welcome comfort as it was over 100 degrees outside.
Elevators were ovens! No ac or ventilation! No roll away beds so we had to take turns sleeping in a chair. Its my belief the staff just didnt want to deal with it.
The staff were very friendly and were able to answer questions. Yes I would stay at Red Roof again the price was right.
During my stay the hotel has an issue with towels and wash cloths. We did not have but 2 towels one wash cloth. We stayed 3 nights every night we asked and were told they would bring them right up. Did not have anyone come to the room my friend finally went to the desk and was able to get one more towel no wash cloths

VALUE OF MONEY
FIRST NIGHT NO ICE BUCKET. WENT TO FRONT OFFICE AND WAS GIVEN ONE ON TOP OFF COUNTER, NO PLASTIC LINER. NOT ENOUGH TOWELS. NO SHOWER CAP.SECOND NIGHT NO FLOOR MAT FOR WHEN GETTING OUT OF SHOWER.NEXT ROOM PEOPLE VERY LOUD.

Rooms were dirty and staff was rude.
Short distance from Riverwalk, Mall, Alamo etc. Great AC to beat the heat, check in lines were long but moved along quickly. Felt secure about the parking garage attached to the hotel.
The area around it seems run down, a few homeless but all were humble. Recommend you take a cab back to the hotel at night, some areas leading to it are badly lit. The hotel itself was great though.
Computer problems? resulted in huge delays at check-in for the 3 separate times I tried to check in.
Stains every where. Blood on sheets. Asked for new ones, only to get more blood and now mold on them. Cover blanket stained too. Breakfast lacked greatly. Should not be even considered a continental breakfast. Other room had what looked like 3 bullet holes in the ceiling. They where covered with duct tape. Floors had not been swept or vacuumed in weeks. We had 3 nights reserved. We stayed one night because of how late it was and then immediately found some where else to stay the next morning. It felt like it was a hourly rate hotel.

I like the location it was a close and convenient to almost everything .. And I liked that the rooms where clean everyday
I didn't like that they didn't have HOT breakfast and d wi-fi was not working in on of my rooms ..
Staff were excellent to try and help and were always working very hard.
Room not available at check in due to not enough staff to clean rooms - over 20 people waiting in lobby for rooms so check in was delayed. Air conditioner in room stopped working and was not repaired so spent one hot night of poor sleep - supervisor did comp the room though. WiFi was poor and only worked intermittently.

Only two towels, had a family with a child, you need more towels, vending machines were out on every floor, smell in the hotel and room, beds hard, floor dirty, no counter space, had to put everything on the floor. A/C didnt blow good at all.
The staff is rude. The facility is in poor working order. The rooms are not supplied with towels or toilet paper!
It was real clean, nice shower and real comfortable.
Ac wouldn't blow as much, was hot at times. Overall it was good. I also didn't like that the lights turned off for a while. Came back on and off.

The location is wirhin walking distance to the Riverwalk for shopping and dining. The rooms have hardwoos floors, ample storage, and 32 in flat screen for leisurely viewing
The rooms, at first glance, appear clean and maintained. Housekeeping standards are very very poor.We were told by the fill-in night manager, bedding is replaced only if requested by guests. It is not hotel policy to replace sheets daily. Upon entering our room, we had to request housekeeping vacum the area rug and sweep.

It was close to down town
The price of parking should be add into the room charge and how the expenses were came by. After one night we learned we didn't have but 3 worthwhile channels for our kids, no trash can, no microwave, no refrigerator and we were paying more than we would at other hotels with all those things add. We left after one night and as I agreed with booking.com the price was $58 per night but I was charged $120 for one night
