We thought the room could have been cleaner. The hotel was very noisey. The breakfast was poor. Internet was not always available. TV reception kept going in and out.
That is is close to many tourist things.

The front desk service.
We liked the fact that we had the parking very close to the elevator and everything was so close to the downtown to were it was easy access to the mall and all the sightseeing places.
What we didn't like is that we had to pay for parking I feel we have paid for the night might as well just allow us to park near the hotel
The rooms were clean. And the cool air from ac was a welcome comfort as it was over 100 degrees outside.
Elevators were ovens! No ac or ventilation! No roll away beds so we had to take turns sleeping in a chair. Its my belief the staff just didnt want to deal with it.
The staff were very friendly and were able to answer questions. Yes I would stay at Red Roof again the price was right.
During my stay the hotel has an issue with towels and wash cloths. We did not have but 2 towels one wash cloth. We stayed 3 nights every night we asked and were told they would bring them right up. Did not have anyone come to the room my friend finally went to the desk and was able to get one more towel no wash cloths

Not very clean my bed had a large hairball in the sheets. TV is very intermittent. Included breakfast is a bagel and gas station danish
The quality of the room was very nice.
How guests have to pay for parking. The woman at the desk was nice but when we asked where a cheap place to eat near the hotel was she refered us to a pasta place where a plate of spaghetti and meatballs was $11.75. That is not cheap! When we get to our hotel we hoped for at least a mini fridge, but no. Then we said we'd just go get some ice...no ice bucket! There weren't enough towels. And complimentary breakfast was lame. Just some packaged danish and packaged bagels. Big disappointment. Our total bill was $98. when we asked why we didn't have a fridge when we checked out we were told it was because we booked through booking.com and not their own site. So I guess if you hope for a decent accommodation there book through them.

the only thing I liked was the location
we made reservations at least 2 weeks before our trip. We arrived at the check in time stated and they made us wait over an hour to get our room. They were so unorganized. There's an extra charge to use the computer... elevators are hot.
When the manager showed up, she was wonderful. Same can't be said for anyone else.
Had to remagnetize our room cards every time we left the room. Staff was extremely rude. Refused to give us tags for our vehicle to verify we had paid for parking even after the security guard told us we had to have them or our car would be towed. (Parking is an extra $10 per day btw). Staff refused to fix the door problem for 2 days and kept implying that we just "didn't know how to work the door." Pool was VERY dirty. Manager came in on Monday and gave us a new room...problem solved. I am simply dumbfounded why the staff could not or would not do this in the first place and appalled by the way they treated us and other guests.
good location close to riverwalk and Alamo. Rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet given that the hotel is right next to a major interstate
I booked a month before my trip and upon arrival was told that I had no reservation and that I could have a room but for twice the price I had booked for. After arguing and sowing my printed confirmation they agreed to give me my room for the price I had booked at. Staff was extremely slow at checkin and checkout. Breakfast was limited to prepackaged items
I WAS KICKED OUT, MY ROOM WAS TAKEN AND I MUST LOOK FOR ANOTHER HOTEL HAVING DIFICULTIES TO FIND ONE I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN TO REDROOF AND I WILL TELL EVERY ONE HOW I WAS TREATED.

FIRST NIGHT NO ICE BUCKET. WENT TO FRONT OFFICE AND WAS GIVEN ONE ON TOP OFF COUNTER, NO PLASTIC LINER. NOT ENOUGH TOWELS. NO SHOWER CAP.SECOND NIGHT NO FLOOR MAT FOR WHEN GETTING OUT OF SHOWER.NEXT ROOM PEOPLE VERY LOUD.

Rooms were dirty and staff was rude.
Short distance from Riverwalk, Mall, Alamo etc. Great AC to beat the heat, check in lines were long but moved along quickly. Felt secure about the parking garage attached to the hotel.
The area around it seems run down, a few homeless but all were humble. Recommend you take a cab back to the hotel at night, some areas leading to it are badly lit. The hotel itself was great though.
Computer problems? resulted in huge delays at check-in for the 3 separate times I tried to check in.
Stains every where. Blood on sheets. Asked for new ones, only to get more blood and now mold on them. Cover blanket stained too. Breakfast lacked greatly. Should not be even considered a continental breakfast. Other room had what looked like 3 bullet holes in the ceiling. They where covered with duct tape. Floors had not been swept or vacuumed in weeks. We had 3 nights reserved. We stayed one night because of how late it was and then immediately found some where else to stay the next morning. It felt like it was a hourly rate hotel.
This hotel is pet friendly, my kids love that, they didn't need to left their dog somewhere else.
