We were in a room close to the door on first floor. Handicap rest room.
The room smelled musty.
They overbooked our reservation made through Booking.com, for one room for the whole weekend. When we got the hotel after driving for 10hrs on Friday,23th we did not have room to stay! Bad service for Red Roof Inc.
Was pretty clean however the AC wasn't working and it was too hot. The staff was irritable when asked to regular things like an ice bucket. The bath tub was leaking. It is in need of repairs. They offered to refund my money but then said they couldn't because I had booked through Booking.com. Not the worst I've stayed. Not the best.
It was a pet friendly hotel. I didn't realize. The front desk clerk told me the pets stay on the first floor, and she would put us on the second. Obviously, pets stay there too. The smell was not good. My husbands was miserable with his allergies. The bathroom door had hair sticking to it, which made me wonder how clean anything was. Dusty. We checked out a day early due to the allergies.
Spaciousness of the standard room and cleanliness. Friendly staff always saying "hi" and asked how are you doing? The convenience of I-10 being right there to get to places easily.
The continental breakfast was lacking (needs fruit everyday, all eaten on Sat. by 8am), no hot chocolate for youngsters, no trays out to take items up to your room (had to ask for a tray). Waffle machine would be great.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The only thing good about it was its distance from noth milton and Pensacola.
Bed was unconfortable, floor was disgusting. Couldnt walk in it without shoes or the carpet would come off on your feet. Hallways smelt awful. Room was musty. Staff was rude. Over priced.

The rooms were very nice. They had clean beds/bathroom, a refridgerator and microwave. Tv with several chanels. The staff was friendly, nice, and were very attenative to our needs. We did not get a chance to eat the continental breakfast but the breakfast room was very nice. The cleaing lady was very nice and had our room spotless. This hotel was probably about 15-20 minutes away from Wal-mart, places to eat, and also Gulf Breeze/Pensacola Beach which was the reason for our stay.
The only problem I had with the hotel is that the bed only had two pillow per bed. I have to have tons of pillows. I asked for extra pillows our first night and they were out but our second night they had some extra ones for me. Also, the hotel told me that I would not be charged for our room until we checked out. The next day after checking in I had already been charged for the room; not once but twice. The staff was very understandable and tried to help the best they could. My money was returned several days after.
