there's no elevator as they said
it's renowated. everything was clean. the room is big enough. it's quite. everybody in the hotel was helpful and kind. we felt like we were at home. it's safe to stay. there is not any homeless around
Really comfy beds, friendly staff, clean, functional, lovely bathroom, large flat screen tv ... would happily stay again.
The staff was nice and helpful, rooms are nice and bedding is comfy as well as the bed. Nice updated bathroom.
Couldn't sleep because of people next door. Noisy people right outside our door late at night. Very thin walls. Go somewhere else if you're a light sleeper. Did not like the flooring.
It was clean and comfortable.
outside needs more appealing look. area seemed unsafe after dark
rooms were very clean and nice
Noise from unit above when they walked around and from the common walkway, which was tiled and people arriving late and dragging their bags along the tiles. Parking could get difficult if it is really busy.
Good WiFi, staff friendly and comfortable bed. Good coffee making facility. Location was reasonable considering LA attractions are so spread out. A Sizzler not too far away and a great Kebab outlet next to Sizzler.
Everything was soo clean! Bed was incredibly comfortable and shower was amazing! Best place to stay at!
Perhaps the only downside is the location - you're not in the centre of the action, but for me, I was visiting the observatories (Griffith and Mt Wilson) and Caltech, so more convenient for me. There can be a bit of road noise, but I don't know many places in LA where you can avoid it!
Excellent value for money, rooms were newly refurbished, pleasant staff. I had stayed in the Beverly Hills Hilton a few days before, and was surprised at the difference - the Regency rooms were bigger, fresher, cleaner, included tea/coffee machine, and of course a tiny fraction of the price, also you don't get charged for parking!
Only coffee and oatmeal for breakfast, but that's not too much to complain about
Very beautiful and spacious inside of hotel even though the outside looks shabby. Very inexpensive. Has microwave and dining area and refrigerator!!! Staff and room service is very sweet and welcoming. literally 8 miles or 30 minutes from downtown and everywhere else in LA. Enjoyed my 3 night stay!
My favorite part of staying here was the bed. It was super comfortable, and I wanted to take it with me. The room was clean and spacious.
It is still a motel so it's not too fancy.
The rooms are nicer than you'll expect and very clean. The area feels safe and is close to a bustling neighborhood with bars/restaurants on the same street. Great stay for the money spent.
Location excellent and the comforts...bed the best linens and pillows. Coffee maker, large tv and walk in shower!
No elevators had to carry my bags to the third floor.
Great staff rooms are spacious and comfortable. Owners very friendly and always willing to help.
Cleanliness, location, noise, value. Where did any good ratings come from? I felt like I was staying in a very cheap hotel!
The rooms were nice and updated! We will stay here again!
From the outside the place looked average but once inside everything was clean and comfortable .Great hospitality.
WiFi was horrible.
Staff was very nice, rooms were amazing and very affordable price. Loved it definitely staying here again.
Comfy beds and beautiful room!
Eagle Rock is the hidden crown jewel of LA...and the Regency Inn Hotel is its secret treasure. The staff was very accommodating, professional, and the bed...I didn't want to wake up!
Would be better if breakfast is included in the price.
we enjoy our stay here and staff r quite helpful and nice. Nice location and took only 15mins to drive to universal studio and farmers market.
wi-fi connection was unstable from the third floor
everything was great!! the room was clean, furniture and appliances are modern, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable, and the cable channels available were great!
The front desk person did not want to give us two keys. Got to the room and the heater did not work. When i called the front desk to let them know she asked me to trouble shoot it the when it still wouldn't work had to call me back. Finally moved us but made it clear she thought it was our fault! Wild not recommend and would not stay here again!
Seemed to be recently remodeled. Was clean.
We needed assistance via telephone as to how to arrive using public transportation. That information was simply not available and we were left to our own vices. However, once checked in, the nice lady at the front desk did her best by helping us get taxi service to/from Pasadena
These beds are incredibly comfortable and the room was lovely in decor. We decided literally on New Years Eve to fly to the west coast to see the Rose Parade on New Years Day. While the few hotels with availability were $500+, this one was only $200 (a lot for us, but we splurged!) Also, we were allowed a little extra time to get back from the parade (in Pasadena) to take a shower before check-out. Thanks for that!!
I love this hotel!!! It is located in a very convinient place where Macy's and Target are just nearby. Staff are nice and willing to help. The room is very clean and tidy, the bed is so comfortable! Will definitely choose to stay here again.
Good, comfy room, very clean...Close to freeways; was very pleasantly surprised
