The steep handicap ramps were a complete joke. the WiFi sucked. the beds were hard as a rock. the pool was empty.
They didn't have the pool fixed which was one main reason of staying there. the breakfast area was way too small so we went somewhere to eat both days.
Being within walking distance of the island.bed was okay and watched TV alot.
The rooms do not look like the pictures on booking. Com. They need to update pictures. Was not worth what we paid for the room.
Service was rude, they advertised a pool and didnt have anything they advertised!
rooms were slightly dirty the appliances didn't work a hundred percent and breakfast was cereal and donuts my family eats more than that for breakfast I think of eggs and bacon for breakfast not real impressed with this Hotel
location is excellent
Room didn't even come close to what I booked on line and I couldn't get a WiFi single for my lap top and when I was checking out and she asked about my stay....I told her I wasn't happy about the WiFi and she told me no one else had complained....I truly believe that the room I had was the $29.95 rooms...and was charged for a room with a king bed and a pull out sofa (No sofa in my room!)That is what I booked on-line!
The location...THAT'S IT...
In need of major repairs.
Rude staff, we went to check and looked at the room and left. Its nasty and needs to be condemned
The times for breakfast could have been a tad longer.
The location and price was well worth it.
Nothing, was there for baseball tournament. Tournament was canceled and was charged for a night we didn't stay.
The beds were uncomfortable.
I liked the fact that it was pretty much in a central location. The Island was right behind the hotel and we walked the strip in Pigeon Forge.
WAlking to island.
The receptionist was extremely rude!!! The bed sheets were inside out. The shower head only came to my shoulder. The ice machine looked as if it could fall apart at any moment. The so called "hot breakfast" we were promised consisted of travel size bowls of cereal and a small container of milk. The juice machines were broken.
Very close to shops and other activities
Asked for a quiet room and was placed next to the maids closet next to the office. Doors started slamming at 8 am.
Price was right. Clean Rooms. had coffee in room but no coffee pot. Refrigerator and Microwave was nice to have. Location was perfect.
Heater didn't work good room was freezing. Bed springs coming threw matress. No insulation between rooms can hear everything going on especially the 15 people staying in the room next to mine. I would never stay there again.
Location was excellent
the first night it was really cold in our room and the hair dryer didnt work very well
like that it was close to all the things that we did
There were no blankets and the comforter was nasty looking. I bought two blankets to keep warm also had a funky smell. It showed two king beds and a jacuzzi tub, but it only had one king bed. I would have left, but I had already paid for it
Not much! The rate was good but, now I know why.
I didnt like the fact that we weren't able to get a room with a jacuzzi tub as this was our honeymoon, but this was not their fault. Our original hotel flooded and everything with a jacuzzi was already full. There was hair in our shower and that was a real turn off for me. I'm already funny about using a shower that isn't mine. Also, there seemed to be some mold growing on the ceiling. It is an older place but the location is nice and only a short walk to the island. It wouldn't hurt for them to make some minor updates. We checked in very late and I was thirsty. Both Coke machines were sold out.
For the most part, we enjoyed our stay. The original place we booked ended up flooding so we ended up having to stay here as nothing else was available. The staff were very friendly and checking in and out was a breeze. They had Christian tracks at the front desk. The bed was very comfortable.
When we first got there we went to check in and she was talking to some person online and after they hung up she called them stupid. Then when we entered the room we noticed the couch and chair had trash on them, the microwave was dirty, the bed had hair in it, and a couple other small stuff.
In the morning, I woke up to bites on my arm and found a live bed bug scurrying across the pillow. I squished it and took it down to the front desk to tell the receptionist, who then proceeded to come to my room and tear apart one bed while yelling at me that I am a liar and that she had pest control come in every day (?). When I asked for a refund she continued screaming at me. I never received the refund. I'm glad I planned the rest of my trip camping. Stay here only if you want your vacation ruined by bugs and bad service.
I made the reservation but when I arrived they were closed. Luckily, I didn't have to pay in advance.
The whole place needs to be updated. We found a hanger in our bathroom window placed diagonally to keep it closed. We couldn't get hot shower. The water was just warm. They printed the hotel receipt on a 3-hole loose leaf paper with lines. I heard other people complaining about the room was not cleaned when he checked in.
The only complaints is room was cold.Bathroom door would not close and water dripped from bathtub all night!
It was in walking distance to new years eve party. Also in the middle of everything.
We stayed here on New Years Eve primarily because of the location. We wanted to be at The Island to bring in the new year. It is an easy walk to there. The staff at check in was very nice and welcoming.
