Parking lot was dimly lit. Sign was half lit.Outside appeared run down.
Love the location right across from the Big E !!
Black Hair all over the bathroom.... hair in the sheets like they had not been changed ! The fire alarm was non- existent.... just wires hanging which gave us the creeps !! Some one... maybe night watch man ..was sitting in pickup with it running and lights on to watch our vehicles and us get to the building safe... I hope that is what he was !!! I expected so much more from this motel !!! :(
The location, comfort of the bed and the young lady at reception were all good.
Being in a room next door to a room with a Jacuzzi is bad news. Sounds like a floor sander going hard at work. Trying to talk to the owner to get a resolution was a joke. We phoned him, went to reception to talk to him and asked him to come up. Eventually in the early hours of the morning he knocks on OUR door and when my wife opens the door he barges on in holding his cell phone saying he is recording everything and cannot hear a thing. SO when my wife asks about the smell of substances that some of his patrons were using for medicinal purposes he says "no I can't smell anything and your a lair". I cannot even get out bed and throw him out as I am naked and he is still standing in the middle of our room. We said "just get out now". Then the next door patrons started having sex and as my wife said " it will be over in three minutes", she was correct but a shame it was already 3.00am in the morning. Humorous looking back but totally unprofessional and tiring for all concerned at the time.
Room ordered through booking.com was different than actual room at the hotel. When booked it was king room with sofa bed, but when we got the room there was not sofa bed at all, even though we mentioned that we will bring our 16 yr.old kid. Staff was like saying don't trust booking.com photos....
I walked in to a strange odor from food they had sitting out for guests. I had difficulty getting into my room due to the lock on the door. The room door was extremely flimsy. My room had a sliding glass door into the pool area. Much of the facility looked very run down. There was another couple in the lobby area who had a car break down. I didn't find this out until after I'd already checked in. When I asked that I be let out of my room so that these people could have a room, the response was that there were no cleaning people there to clean up the room for them. I walked out and didn't even spend the night. I hope they decided to clean the room to rent it to the people who needed a place to stay.
Food was bad, spoiled milk, spoiled Waffer mixed.
People were unbelievably friendly, helpful & accommodating.
We had trouble if finding The hotel even with gps It was confusing at the roundabout
bed comfortable and clean
overall condition of building needed updating, some areas appeared dirty
The price isn't worth it for a hotel like that. The hotel is like a motel. I'm very disappointed.
friendly staff clean room quiet situation 5 minutes by car from Six Flags New England
My friends and I were so totally impressed with the Regency. We could not have asked for anything more. The attention given to our every need was extraordinary. We would highly recommend this hotel to single travelers or families. It was a pleasure to stay there and we will be visiting again.
Very nice staff. Hotel itself needs a redo asap
Very clean & friendly staff
Pool was close
It was clean and people were very friendly.
We stayed for two days and the room was not touch after the first night. I expected the beds to be made and clean towels put in the bathroom.
Fresh fruit & coffee big rooms wonderful staff close to the Big E
couldn't change dates or leave a day earlier without losing $ no elevator Big E gates not open near hotel, not safe to walk after dark
The place was dirty, the pool was moldy, the ceilings looked like they were gonna fall down.I would never go back there again. Its not at all what the photo on the website shows its awful. The man refused to give me my money back and other guest checking in were upset to.This hotel should not be listed as a place to stay for six flags, its not a place for families to stay at all.
room was very spacious
kitchenette had everything but silverware; no nightstands; no writing utensils on or in desk
Wonderful helpful staff, nice hotel close to the Big E
Not able to cancel last night of trip day before
The staff was wonderful and actually carried some of my luggage up the stairs to my room! The room was very clean and comfortable. I would stay again but request a ground floor room.
It is an older building and has no elevator. It was difficult getting up the stairs to my room with all my things. I would have requested a bottom floor room had I known.
Nice comfy bed with lots of fluffy pillows, lots of towels. The breakfast was nice and a real convenience and timesaver for us.
Could have used some kind of shower gel or better soap, nothing lathered, I don't bring my own because I have become used to something adequate being provided with the room. Also almost ran out of toilet paper and no extra rolls were in cabinet. Did run out of tissues and I only used two.
There was an indoor pool Flat screen tv The young clerk that worked the front desk on the day shift
The building is very old and in need of major repairs and a deep clean. There was mold all over the walls and ceiling in the pool area. The furniture in the room was beat up The towels were very dingy They never cleaned the room during my stay The carpet in the rooms and throughout the building were disgusting. They needed to be vacuumed and washed. There is no elevator The owner on several occasions was yelling fowl language to customers on the phone and in person. There was kids in the area and that did not seem to matter. I would never stay here again!
The receptionist was wonderful, I was considering not staying at the Regency because it was kind of sketchy looking when we arrived. The warmth and kindness that the receptionist shared made up my mind to give the place a chance. The bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again because of the comfortable bed and the location.
Our room had a window with broken glass, the window did not lock and the exterior door would not open. I was hoping to air out the room because it was overpowering with room deodorant spray. The windows and sliding door was very filthy both inside and out with dirt and cobwebs. The Inn is dated and the exterior is not appealing at all there were building supplies, a old couch and garbage around the exterior of the building. It would be a lot nicer with a good cleaning inside and out.
