Everything was great!!
The Bar should be opened later than 11 on the weekends. There were people hanging out in the lobby alot later than 11 pm. Thank you!
Staff was excellent. Great personality - fun and helpful. Zeb is a shining example of what customer service should be every time! A definite asset to the hotel. All other desk folks were very nice too.
Room was a little cramped with (2) queens. Bathroom did not have exhaust fan - multiple folks taking showers. Perhaps 4 women to one room too much - could special pricing be applied to 2 adjoining rooms??
My wife and I were uncertain about which hotel to choose when planning our fall trip but we were very pleased with our selection. The Renaissance Asheville Hotel staff were great. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was within walking distance to many good restaurants. We plan on using the hotel for our spring trip to Asheville.
We have a young kiddo with us and they offered a crib and put it up for us. Very considerate and nice. good experience.
The facility was in a great location. The bed was extremely comfortable the room was very attractive. The desk staff and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.
There were zero towel racks in the bathroom and glasses not covered. We had coffee for only one person on the first day and after asking for more - still only one and only 1 cup, 1 sweetner, 1 stir stick on 2nd day. Housekeeping staff extremely noisy in morning.
Location and parking were good. Rooms clean and well appointed.
Wi-Fi kept shutting off - hard to get work done. TV signal not the best.
When I walked through the front doors I thought it was a very classy hotel. I was impressed and I'm a hotel snob. I usually stay I'm the newer hotels such as Indigo and Aloft but thoroughly enjoyed The Renaissance. My daughter attends the University in Asheville, so I am here quite often. Asheville is my second home. I'm returning for my stay tomorrow because I really enjoyed my first visit. Thank you!
Can't think of anything that stood out. I'm coming back tomorrow. If I find something I'll let you all know ;)
Very nice location with beautiful view. Staff was very courteous. No need for car to access local shops and restaurants
The size of it The relaxed attitude in the place The views from our bedroom window The free car park
being put in a room right by the elevator shaft! no sleep! the staff did take money off the room but I was still tired and hope that if you stay you ask not to have a 1000 number room as you will regret it !
I have always stayed at the Renaissance when visiting Asheville because of the location.
The room was not well maintained. The grout in the shower was filthy. The granite bathroom vanity top was cracked in two places. The sink drain was clogged. There were stains on the duvet cover on one of the beds.
Close to downtown. Within walking distance of shopping and good restaurants. Staff was extremely helpful, happy and efficient.
The AC fan goes on and off. I thought it should be constant. Not sure that is a fixable problem or just one person's preference. Downtown has a homeless element that seems to not be addressed. (Not the hotel's responsibility.)
Beautiful facility with very helpful staf Walking distance to downtown.
Parking can be a challenge if hotel is busy
This was our 2nd time staying here and we choose it for the location, the contemporary look and feel of the hotel and what it has to offer. Once you get back to the hotel from walking downtown, it feels so relaxing with all the common areas inside and outside.
The bathroom is small and needs a deep cleaning.
room near the elevator- noise all night
Bed was comfortable, location is convenient
Shower faucet was broken, cable didn't work (couldn't get a digital signal)
Locatiom Cleanliness Workout Facility
The location is walking distance to downtown. It's clean and the prices are decent.
The friendliness of the staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was located near a good Italian restaurant. I got there real late yet there was staff around to help
The parking. It seems as though a lot of people park in that parking lot.
The hotel was close restaurants, bars , and shopping. It was not necessary to drive a car during our stay.
It's in Asheville! Location! Helpful staff. Outdoor patio. Comfortable bed.
Noisy ventilation system; teeny (but, nonetheless, serviceable) bathroom. Would have been nice to have an in-room safe.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Comfort of beds and pillows. Great view. Walk to everything in town.
Only drawback was that staff left only two coffee pods each day (one without caffeine) for the two of us.
Perfect location,supremely comfortable bed,super clean newly renovated room,helpful staff,plentiful free parking,free wifi.
Restaurant has limited hours
Location is nice the hotel outside of the rooms are nice. Staff is nice.
Seriously OLD rooms bathroom is as small as a cruise ship bathroom. HORRIBLE room itself is small. For the money you pay you would expect a nice room!! HORRIBLE old and small
