Nothing, would stay here,again
Great room, friendly staff, great downtown location. Free parking.
Bathroom was small, toilet paper holder was old & cheap, patched tile grout & dropped ceiling in shower, patchy popcorn ceiling
Beds & comforter, clean, room service breakfast was great, service was really good
I was given a handicap romm but did not ask for or need. The bathroom was not easy to use because of only a sink with no counter to put tolitetries on. Shower did not work properly.
Location, easy parking, walkable to downtown
Two adults on a queen bed is a bit uncomfortable but we managed. The showers need updating and the thermostat is on delay off/on. It was tough keeping the room comfortable.
Location of the hotel is great. You can walk to almost anything around town. The Biltmore is only minutes away. The staff at the hotel were always pleasant and accommodating.
Worst bartender ever. Never asked us one thing, not even if we wanted a drink. Had to keep calling her over. Bathroom was tiny and had mold.
Lobby is beautiful; musicians in lobby were great.
The staff was very friendly & courteous!
Great concierge, stylish contemporary furniture, interiors. Lots of areas to have a coffee, glass of wine, enjoy a book or conversation. Location can't be beat for walking downtown Asheville or hopping on nearby highways. Nice view from hotel room.
As a solo female business traveller I really value the way that all of the Renaissance staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. I had a great stay there and enjoyed several meals in their excellent restaurant.
The room itself was a bit cramped, and the bathroom especially so. The decor in the lobby is very stylish, but upstairs it is not so great, a bit dated. It is a little overpriced for what you get.
The lobby is beautiful, staff was attentive, and the location was nice. You could walk to the arts district and dining in about ten minutes.
Our room was only 262 square feet. 2 adults and an 8 year old and it felt too small. The pillows are terrible - they totally depress into nothing when you put your head on them. The bathroom was REALLY small and they encourage you to reuse towels but there is only 1 hook to hang the towels up to air dry on so that doesn't really work and no fans in those small bathrooms either.
The best things about this hotel are the staff, the large indoor pool, jacuzzi, and the exercise facilities (each aerobic machine has its own TV attached to it!)
Great location in asheville. Not far from anything
The customer service was terrible and the staff was not very friendly. We were charged $4 for drinking the seemingly provided bottle of water by the ice bucket. Beware of hidden costs!
This hotel is in a great location! Older building but the inside is nice.
We could walk everywhere.
Great location, good service
Parking was a little scarce but we understand
Loved it all..great and classy. Please give Sandra a heads up for helping us out in a bind!
Bathtub plugged up and water would not drain while showering
Overall room and location
Room a bit small compared to others we have stayed in
Great location in a lovely town.
The 6AM false alarm fire drill, where we evacuated into the pouring rain for just enough time to be awake, and then reentered.
There were many shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel.
Great location in Asheville with proximity to downtown
Salt water pool and spa. Proximity to downtown.
Towels were a bit rough.
Location within 15 minute walk of everything downtown
Convient to everthing very clean and pretty
The new thermostats that prevent you from putting the fan on a constant setting or changing the temperature outside a small range.
The hotel was overpriced, and loud at night. For the same price Hotel Indigo is a much better choice.
