Friendliness & helpfulness of staff. Hotel accommodations, amenities & views.
Beds were comfortable and food downstairs was good. Elevators were nice.
As a married male, this forced me to stay in a room with my female coworker which never should have happened. There was almost no comment on the issue. We were given a pass the lounge as a result which coincidentally ran out almost each day to the point where it was too annoying to continue showing up and asking for new keys. Also the hot tub and spa area were disgusting.
The staff was helpful and friendly.
Bed preference indication is not really considered - I booked a King room with 1 extra large bed (preferably on a higher floor) and I was a given a room with 2 Queen beds, on the 3rd floor...they told me that bed preference was not communicated from Booking.com... I did not like either that "free breakfast" was included in the confirmation received from Booking.com, however the hotel does not offer complimentary breakfast at all. They give you a 35$ credit (per room) on your breakfast bill - that is generally far from covering your whole expense...
We didn't get the room we booked and the we were kept up most of the night by all the people talking down in the open area of the hotel as well as the people in the rooms next to us. The walls and doors are to thin.
My husband and I loved our stay. The location is close to my daughter's home. Service was excellent and accurate. Food was awesome. We plan on bringing our grandchildren with us next visit to Austin so they can ride the glass elevators and stay in a balcony room.
They chage more for brakefast altough was included in backage
Hotel is very geared to business travelers and business groups.
Comfort of bed and size of room
No Pillow top mattress
Condition of hotel
Size of hotel parking spaces. Very tight for larger cars.
Nice hotel and in a great neighborhood. Room was big but we had a handicap room.
We had a handicap room and there was no counter to put toiletries on. We had to ask for a mini fridge, I think it should be standard. we asked booking.com to cancel a second room we had reserved. They called the hotel to see if it was alright, as it was after the free cancel period. They said yes, but canceled our whole reservation. We were able to get a room at the same rate though.
I liked the surroundings and the security in the front.
Arthur and Karen in the club lounge on 9th floor were excellent and very accommodating m.
No free wifi in bedrooms
I stayed at the Renaissance as Management from my company did as well. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and, even though and without a doubt this hotel is luxurious, comfortable and in a great location, the price paid is just too much. When you add breakfast and wi-fi in the room costs it becomes too much.
almost every thing, parking lot, the reception, lobby, rooms, decor, pet friendly, etc. we were very content aver all.
not free breakfart
1- check in took more than half an hour . 2- indoor swimming pool water always not clean .
Large clean room Restaurant staff excellent (Mara) Gym is large and well equipped
Need better lighting in the room The usual guff about saving the planet by not washing towels but then the A/C was turned to "Polar Cold"
Pizza from room service.
Toilet seat had urine splatter. There were used beer bottles, Utensils, napkins under tv cabinet. Phone next to bed not working. Refrigerator was not working. The mgr on duty offered a $50/nite discount. Grace
The staff we dealt with were nice, helpful and hospitable -- there just wasn't enough of them...valet parking attendants were outsanding...the location with the shopping nearby was excellent.
There was only one person at check-in with a line over 20 people...was 20 minutes before we got to the front of the line...ordered room service and was told it would be at least an hour...at over $300 a night, couldn't believe they were short-handed at the front desk and restaurant...after reserving a king we were put in a handicap room with no fridge.
Rooms and hotels staffs are ok mostly
Hotel does not offer anyway for customers to get to the airport. At least 3 other customers along with us reserved a cab the night before for an early departure. No cab showed up, no confirmation was given and there's no way to get anyone to come to the hotel's location. We were only able to get to the airport without missing our flight by begging for a ride with someone who is happen to be driving to the airport. Repeated attempts to ask for help with staff were useless. This has been a problem with the hotel and the staff knows it but no attempts at all at solving this issue. I will never advise anyone to stay there unless you have your own transportation
New or relative new building, cleanliness, comfort, location
Good shopping, good restaurants, relaxing.
Probably 20 min. From downtown Aidtin. About 35-40 dollar can ride.
I loved that we were located within walking distance of such amazing restaurants
Internet was free and they tried to upsell us at the counter.
