Runway view, friendly staff
Ice machine on my floor not working. No Saturday paper available
The bed was very comfortable best ever, would recommend, great place to stay over . Lovely and clean food in the restaurant was great, the staff very helpful, would stay again. Highly recommend .
Hotel transport...travel was easy to airport using shuttle from hotel. Drivers were helpful and courteous.
Bathroom cleanliness...found bloodstains in bathtub
They charge for carpark and WiFi.
I was specifically told the charge of the wi-fi in the rooms were waived by the receptionist and I was charged!
The hotel is comfortable, the room is spacious (like really spacious), the bed is really good (not too hard not too soft), the bathroom is big and clean. You can use the shuttle to go to the airport and take the MARTA train from there into town. The balcony is nice!
The hotel is really expensive and it definitely should include breakfast and wifi in the rate. There is free wifi only in the lobby. I think the hotel carpets need to be changed. If you don't want to be disturbed by airplanes don't ask a view to the airport because even though the windows are thick you can still hear some noise outside which is almost imperceptible though. We loved the view!
We enjoyed dinner 3 nights at the hotel, the staff and the food were both great. The front desk crew were friendly and helpful and the airport shuttle was on time!
Housekeeping was the only area that could have been better. The room spotless, but the housekeeper left the trash and dirty glasses on multiple days.
comfortable & friendly
Very limited restaurant menu lighting - not bright enough NO towel racks (even tho they requested towels be "hung" up for re-use (water saving) - There was NO place to hang them! silly
The staff were without exception incredibly lovely. Friendly and funny and totally helpful.
The food was appalling. Not the way it was cooked but all the ingredients. We tried to have a glass of red wine and a burger - every component of the meal was horrible. The fries tasted of old fat, as did the burger pattie, which managed to be dry and fatty at the same time. The house wine was undrinkable. I must add that the meal was duly taken off our bill by our charming waitress, no questions asked, in keeping with the wonderful service at this place - but goodness it shouldn't be that hard to do a good burger?! The window to our balcony overlooking the runway was permanently steamed up, probably because it was winter and cold outside but warm in, so that in order to see any planes we needed to go outside in the cold. The hotel is generally a bit run down, you can tell it's just a little old and tired.
Clean and comfortable
The restaurant. Over priced slow service. Horrible utensils given to go.
The bed. The bed sinks in the middle. I stay in a hotel once or twice a month and I usually enjoy the comfort of the bed but the bed was awful. Other than that I enjoyed the stay.
I would stay again. The place was comfortabl.
I did not like paying $15 at the bar for 1 drink.
The room was nice
Hidden $16 Parking fee breakfast was a bit expensive and the eggs were a bit dry and not hot.
Great place for a stop-over thanks to the location close to the airport. It takes less than 30 mins from international airport and only 15 mins for domestic flights.
Nothing much. It was amazing that the lobby market in an Atlanta hotel had no real Coke though (just diet, zero and pepsi) :)
This place was marvelous, i slept like never before. The beds were so soft and almost cuddled you. Nice size rooms and pleasant staff.
Last night there cameto room after being out all day and maid must have forgot to clean room and bathroom, no new towels and bed unmade. Did talked to front desk, was corrected in half hour.
I really enjoyed being at the hotel. Really clean and nicely decorated. Bed was really comfortable but hard to keep the heat or air regulated. We loved being able to see the planes take off and land. That was a nice experience and they were not noisy as I thought they would be. Overall it was a nice experience.
I didn't like all the noise that the other room had. I called down to the front desk and asked if they could please say something. I'm not sure if the frontdesk said anything but from the sounds that kept from the room next door and the kids still playing in the hallway most of the night, I felt like nothing was said. I think that if you are a four star hotel more should be done to keep the noise level down. When reading reviews, I thought the other guest were talking about the runway/airplanes making the noise. No, it's the guest. If u want a goods night sleep, I wouldn't suggest this hotel, unless u had no choice.
PROS: This has to be the nicest Hotel in Atlanta for $115. Parking $16... Who cares? It might have a couple of scratches, but geez, who cares? Just staying here is exciting. The sites, sounds and smells amp you up to want to go hop on a plane and travel. Some of the best service in Atlanta, or Georgia for that matter. No butt kissing here, just plane ole Southern Hospitality! The beds are to die for! Over all my most unforgettable experience ever in a Hotel!
CONS: Food is going to cost you. $70 for a comfortable and beautiful breakfast. Ouch. The breakfast had and awesome presentation. Looks are deceiving, IHOP has a lot more flavor. The coffee was great though! So, I would say go out for food if you want a dinner with flavor.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We were on an overnight layover and were lucky enough to get a ride in the hotel's town car back to the airport early the next morning at no cost. The complimentary hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby were also great!
Decor is a little tired but this was very much outweighed by the rest of our experience.
As always, we liked the location and view from the room (although it was a foggy mess most of our stay). The food is excellent and the restaurant staff warm and helpful.
We were initially in a 9th floor room and had to move because of ants in the bathroom. We were moved to the 10th floor, and you might've though we'd changed hotels. The room was in much worse condition than the previous one, and even without the ants not nearly as clean. The beds were dreadfully soft and worn out. Will stay again but not on the 10th floor.
Comfortable and very convenient stay mins from the airport. I found the staff to be professional and courteous. I was surprise md by how large and nice the rooms were.
While the hotel is close to the airport, it is not directly on the rail line to the airport and requires a shuttle to reach the airport.
Size of room Lobby and restaurant area Location Clean Staff brilliant
Being able to walk into terminal A directly was a big plus for me -- sheltered from the storm....
Proximity to airport and a staff that went out of their way to assure my trip was successful.
Limited coffee and "snack" options.
