Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel

We were 9 hours late arriving at the hotel as our ba flight was delayed. We arrived very tired in the middle of the night and the receptionist told us that we were listed as a 'no show'. Thankfully he found us another room otherwise I would have lost my temper as we had booked the room until check out time the following day.

Easy walking to small shopping area and restaurants.

Ride,arrogant front desk staff. Arguing over being given non club level rooms, the club level closed from Fridays. Extremely noisy inter connecting rooms. Luggage taken to incorrect rooms, roll bed in room when not requested. Staff worst ever encountered.

The access to the Fort Lauderdale boat show was very good. It was a short walk to the water taxi. There are a number of good restaurants in close walking distance

The room was not well-maintained, examples are: -The mini bar was not functioning and when I called to find out about it, they told me that they just don't use them anymore. -The handle on the closet fell off when you tried to use it. -The showerhead had come loose from the wall. -The tub drain very slowly so you were standing in water when you took a shower. The shower head was an extreme water saving type and the pressure was so low it was Extremely difficult to wash your hair. They charged $13 per day for use of the Internet.

Great design. Cleanliness. Early check in.Proximity to Port Everglades,restaurants,shopping(sun trolley to mall)

Omelette guy in onsite restaurant was way too slow (sautéed vegetables before adding to eggs )which resulted in long line ups (many people hurrying to leave for a cruise)

La situation de l'hotel Le confort des chambres

Hotel climatisé à 19° !!! Il fait meilleur dehors que dedans. Nous avions une chambre avec vue mer...et on nous a donnés une chambre vue parking..avec un arbre devant la fenètre..Donc aucune vue (sur le parking) et surtout chambre toujours sombre. Motif et réponse du manager...les chambres sont attribuées au bon vouloir de l'hôtel !!! Personnel malhonnête et pas serviable....A l'image du manager...Incompétent !! De loin le plus mauvais service que j'ai connu dans un hotel de cette catégorie

ggü. unserem ersten Aufenthalt im Hotel waren wir dieses mal mit der Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption überhaupt nicht zufrieden; das zunächst falsche Zimmer konnten wir problemlos tauschen, allerdings warteten wir trotz mehrmaliger anrufe an der Rezeption fast 2 Stunden auf unser Gepäck; der bei der Zimmerreservierung bestellte Blumenstrauss anlässlich des Geburtstages meines Mannes war ebenfalls nicht ausgeführt worden

Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption sehr nett und kompetent, angenehme Zimmerausstattung, sehr schöne Poolanlage, Hotel unweit vom Hafen und Airport

Un solo problema, me cobraron 2 veces la estadia en el hotel, una en el momento de efectuar la reserva por internet y otra en el momento de hacer el check in. Y tuve q pagar dos veces. Cuando la tarifa q Escoji fue de no reembolsable, ydonde lo unico q hacia falta por cancelar era el impuesto del hotel. Necesito q por favor me solucionen y me reembolsen ese dinero.

Location excellent for cruise port. Very comfortable and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean, the bed and bedding excellent quality, nice view, excellent bathroom with plentiful good quality towels.

Very short delay in getting seated for breakfast but not enough to spoil the stay.

Good hotel in the right location for the cruise terminal

We stayed at the Renaissance both pre and after cruise. We were late on arrival yet were met with courteous and friendly staff.The rooms were impeccably clean. The staff on all fronts were pleasant and quick to render any service. I would certainly choose this hotel again.

This mistake was mine. When I reserved the room six months prior to our arrival, from Booking.com, they clearly stated that the special price did not brook any cancellations. I was billed upon departure and because of the time gap I thought that I had already paid for the room. Upon checking my visa statements I realized that I was in the wrong and in fact no payment had been made. The receipt from Booking.com should have clearly indicated that the room was to be paid directly to the hotel.
