Ideal location to cruise port. Clean, comfortable accommodation . The hotel also organised a transport service to all the cruise ships ( nominal fee ) which was very convenient.
The only issue we had was the pool area backed onto a busy road so at times there was considerable traffic noise.
Very comfortable beds. Close to decent restaurants. OK gym.
pool area close to main road.
Breakfast food was less than satisfactory, very expensive for the variety of food offered. Room rate are Renaissance level but the facilities are closer to those of an Inn.
Proximity to cruise port
Would like to have more choices for breakfeast
Noise from the air conditioning unit infront of our door
Location within 400 metres of the cruise terminal 2(?). Great front office staff, very friendly and informative, nothing was too much trouble for them as were the breakfast staff. Simple fare but filling. Close proximity to restaurants. Also were able to check in very early after disembarking from our cruise ship at 7am. Thank your Hotel Renaissance.
Room was nice
House keeping was horrible. Once you have a do not disturbe sign in the morning. After 10 in the morning they will not clean the room any more. when we first checked in, there were a wet rag and a wet towel on the floor.Even if you complain to the front desk you will not get any cleaning. out of 6 nights I stayed there, 3 nights the room was cleaned. Just unbelievable. I will never stay there again.
greet at the door by Kathy bonner with a smile.
close to the cruise port
you could hear everything going on, even the traffic outside and we were on the 9th floor! The bed was horrible. I've stayed many times in other and never had this experience and parking was a joke... Had to pay 25$ a night.
Well appointed rooms
Breakfast buffet could be improved, hot plates required to keep food warm
The staff was very helpful. Food was good. Nights sleep great. Staff suggested parking car at hotel and take shuttle to ship, outstanding..
Can't think of a thing
good gym, nice pool . A company that takes you to the ship and you can leave every 15 minutes.
There was no fridge in the room. Not much information on activities around the hotel other than the book on restaurants.
The service and all the attention from all staff.
Valet parking to hi plus tips for the valet make the valet parking to hi.
Every staff member we had contact with was VERY welcoming and helpful.....each with a smile, which goes a looooong way.
If you are cruising or flying out of Fort Lauderdale this hotel is perfect. There are many restaurants and shops in the vicinity.
The hotel is on a main , noisy. Rowded streeet.
Location, pool, staff, facilities. It was perfect before a long haul flight back to UK.
Good location - close to shopping and a short walk to the water taxi. We walked to the top of the 17thy St bridge to watch fireworks and had a great view.
Small fitness center; Ice machine right outside our door was beeping constantly, and it took three calls to the front desk until they finally shut it off.
The staff were very helpful and had the best attitude i've seen in an hotel for sometime. the breakfast was very nice.
bed was somewhat uncomfortable. The mattress was not level.
Bar staff especially Nacho, he is a very talented, friendly and conscientious young man and reception staff are also extremely accommodating.
everytime i come to this hotel they have an elevator not working and a hotel full of people. however i do believe they are putting money into refurbishment of the hotel. never enough coffee for the coffee caddy.
Location was perfect for shopping and eating and we walked everywhere.
Swimming pool was very small, rowing machine wasn't in the gym.
Good position for cruise port with convenient shuttle.
No restraurant facilities in evening, but good bar meals however.
It's location close to both the airport and the cruise terminal and it's transfer to the cruise port in the morning of the sailing.
Hotel seemed clean and the staff friendly. We arrived quite ate and so didn't really have that much interaction with the staff. The room was nice and big and the bathroom clean. The shower was very powerful which was needed after a 15 hours of flying. Had breakfast in the restaurant the next morning, nice food and good service. We only stayed one night prior to a cruise. There is a shuttle running from the hotel to the cruise ships on a regular basis. Cost around $8 dollars each which was a good price.
No tea could be found anywhere, plenty of coffee but no tea. Guess they don't cater much for the English. Expensive shop for soft drinks etc but then it is a hotel so you have to expect that.
the main lobby and front desk staff.
that you could hear everything on the street when sitting at the pool
view from the room
