Bed too hard for me, IMHO. Want free Wifi especially in Seattle.
Service, Pet friendliness, location
Price of parking, too much !
We stayed for the Seahawks game, short 10 minute walk was perfect for us.
- FREE wifi only at lobby
the staff was friendly and forthcoming when we explained what we didn't like.
This hotel is smack in the middle between a construction site and the I-5. You would therefor expect thoroughly insulated windows in the rooms. These were sadly lacking. You heard the noise from the freeway as if you were standing next to it. Adding insult to injury, the heating turned on and off with a lot of noise. Needless to say, we didn't sleep at all. I've slept in other Renaissance hotels (Sydney, Edmonton) and generally like them. This one isn't worthy of the name Renaissance. This hotel is a great choice for people who like to be kept awake all night, and masochists in general. Everyone else should avoid this place like the plague.
It was nice in the lobby and the staff was friendly.
I paid over 200 dollars a night with a room same size as a hotel that costs 80. The mini fridge that was in our room was not cleaned out and smelled like fish. Not really sure why this was rated so high.
location was nice.
had to pay for wifi. seems silly nowadays.
Staff was friendly and overly accommodating, hotel was clean and professional, food was terrific, hotel is centrally located to a lot of Seattle activities.
We stayed in a suite for 4 days for our anniversary and almost checked out early because it was so bad. The bed was AWFUL, like sleeping on a cement board, the paid hotel parking was a joke i.e. unless you were in by 7pm there were no spaces available so you had to park somewhere else and pay there too but walk back to your hotel or catch a cab, the master suite TV was old, very small (like maybe 28 inches diagonally) and on a bench seat equal to the height of the bed so unless you were sitting straight up you couldn't see it, it had limited channels (30 ish) and no PPV movie options, there was a fridge but no microwave, there were no robes to wear to the spa facility, not to mention there was no pool. I'm a Marriott honors member and was sadly disappointed by this particular facility. I have to say that I will not be staying here ever again.
Breakfast Room service Assistance in services Hotel / Restaurant staff
Local phone call charges (not explained prior) View of the I-5
Comfort, even though it was quite expensive for the spent Money.
Paid wifi. Wifi just available at the lobby área.
- Relatively central location - Nice decor - Clean
- Noise, noise and noise. The room was located on the highway side of the building and the windows are not sound-proof. Needless to say I was unable to sleep for two nights. The staff was unhelpful when I raised the situation. - Breakfast was supposed to be included in my price, and the receptionist forgot to give me a voucher (to be used at the hotel's restaurant) when I checked in... At the time of check out a different attendant screamed at me because I "should have picked the breakfast voucher up at the reception"... She did end up apologizing but the harm was done. Totally unprofessional -- not only did they make a mistake but they also blamed a client who is a victim of their mistake... - Worst experience I have ever had in hundreds of stays in all kind of hotels around the world.
Location, friendly staff
The location was good easily walkable down hill to stadium, shops, bars, restaurants. Back up a bit harder. Cabs easy to get. Friendly staff.
Parking is tight, but that's typical.
The room. The fitness center. The bar. The apples arouns.
The WiFi extra cost. The mal functioning bathroon door. The mal functioning water fosters. The full garage while you pay daily. The admission staff cold effectiveness.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location to most things downtown was close.
The digital tv channels didn't work ver well. The bed wasn't very comfortable.
Front desk very helpful and friendly!
My car was not returned in the condition I left it.
modern lounge decor
no free wi-fi
Front office staff
Room size, friendly staff, breakfast staff particularly good, breakfast.
Being asked for I'd every time I had any question for Reception.
Great location Great fitness center Wonderful views from resturaunt
Curbside valet little tricky to navigate on the corner
Location is fabulous, which I suppose is what we paid for. Rooms are very nice and comfortable.
being nickled and dimed for things like internet, when most other hotels offer for free
The room was clean, the Staff very knowledgeable.
I did have breakfast but It was not good.
Everything is nice and clean, personel is awesome. They gave us free wi-fi for the whole stay and a complementary brakfast for the first morning.
The fare for each room changes according to availability, regardless of having booked in advance. If you are staying at a price, and suddenly the rest of the available rooms are booked, your prices rises. They don´t tell you this when you check-in.
Room size & lay-out
Parking rates No amenities (coffee, WiFi, newspaper, etc.) Located next to 16 lane freeway Housekeeping staff was poor Really not a good value for the price.
I liked the location. Rooms we clean. Concierge and front door staff were great.
For the price of the rooms, it would have been nice to have 2 complimentary bottles of water in room per day. The fridge was available, but un-stocked. Service at bar was flat. Also, most hotels we've stayed offer a complimentary early morning coffee bar; not here.
