Breakfast buffet too expensive
Location location location... Staff and hotel is amazing
Staff was excellent no exceptional.Location is amazing.
No microwave. But that's no big deal. This survey asked my who I was traveling with. My choice but there.
Great location and superb hotel. Could not ask for any more.
Location. Shower was really nice.
No microwave. The doubletree gave cookies and was less expensive.
Close to everything and a really terrific lounge with one of the best views of Times Square
Great staff! very accommodating. Prime LOCATION! It can't be beat! it's actually a shame the hotel isn't more of a unique style boutique than just another average hotel. It's in the center of the BIG APPLE! and the rooms are just plain jane boring hotel rooms.
Excellent location, However for the price this hotel lacks anything unique, extraordinary, or memorable. Views from room weren't great and rooms were just the average run of the mill Red roof. Lounge was not accessible without a reservation and usually not open. Parking $60/ 24hrs with no in and out privileges. No free wi-fi? (It's 2014) $30 for breakfast.
The situation is excellent, the lounge overlooking Time Square is well appointed and serves excellent food.
The rooms (a superior room) are very small, dark with small windows. Having booked the same room type on different occasions there were of vastly differing standards, particularly in relation to bathrooms. All in all it was poor value for money and I have stayed in better hotels in NY at the same star rating. Likely not to return
The staff at this hotel goes above and beyond customer satisfaction. They are always willing to help and answer any questions at any time. We received help from the front desk, doorman and concierge. Clean rooms, we didn't have any noise from other people's rooms. The view was excellent and location fantastic - the bus stops right in front.
Location was perfect
No breakfast was including nor WIFI
Location is good but in my opiniom there are better once around times square Tube 10 m from the entrance to the hotel Good service level
Noice 24h Small rooms Price vs value seems overestimated
Hotel close to everything, staff were lovely and the lady cleaning the room was helpful and really considerate.
Food was expensive
Location and activities to do within few minutes walk from hotel. The view of the Times Square from the lounge.?
The hotel was clean, modern, and very well located. For what we were looking for it was ideal
The price was very high, for US350 /night they should at least include breakfast !!
Location, rooms, views are amazing!
They offer a package with breakfast and wifi for 40.00/day. however, at breakfast they don't have food for everyone and also they charge for the wi fi in the bill! So every customer needs to pay attention to not pay twice!
Poor waste segregation
Everything is excellent
It's place is very good it is near for attractions
The beds were very small. Lobby was very cold. There is no internet in rooms. There was no international channels in TV
Good localization. Confortable beds.
A little bit expensive for a hotel without breakfast included, pool, and gym.
Location on Times Square. Good sized rooms for New York.
nasty attitude of some staff at the front desk
Location is perfect. Bathrooms are clean. Breakfast buffet was great. R Lounge has the best view of Times Square. Staff friendly and helpful (Jennifer at front desk was super helpful) A server at vivid lounge wanted to give complimentary drinks on the house on the occasion of our first anniversary, but it was too early. Eventually we had a Mojito at the R lounge at lunch time, where we saw him again- thank you Sir!
There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby. The front desk and the lobby are in different floors. The rooms aren't facing Times Square directly. Our room at the 6th floor still had a lot of noise fr
Clean and friendly
Price was high but that's NY.
Location good for access to attractions, subway etc., convenient to step out and have so much within walking distance. Very comfortable beds in room, however will not stay here again after discovering the beautiful area around Central Park and upper end of 5th Avenue. Concierge was excellent, friendly and informative.
Charge of $75.00 a day for wifi and breakfast - we were persuaded to buy this when given some tokens for a 'free appetiser/snack item' in the R lounge each day - not worth it though - food on offer very poor, e.g. chicken burger one night consisted of mashed up 'chicken meat' like a pattie - horrible! Breakfast on offer was very poor - only limited fruit, packet cereals, scrambled egg, watery porridge, and tea and coffee on self-service in paper cups - no breakfast settings, just sitting in what is the 'R lounge/bar' during the rest of day/evening. Despite reading in hotel info claims that breakfast is served until 10.30am and that breakfast is served until 11.00am, we arrived for breakfast at 10.10am daily to find the staff rushing to clear away the breakfast food! The hotel bill ended up costing considerably more than we budgeted for on account of extra taxes - beware if you are intending to book direct. Also, don't rush into signing up for wifi and daily breakfast charges like we did, plenty of food elsewhere! General comfort in the hotel room was ok, (but they only allow you enough tea/coffee for exactly one paper cup per person per day!) Decor quite tired and dark in appearance and in need of freshening up.
Its right in Time Square. Its walking distance to shows, tickets, restaurants. You can do some shopping but stores are not the best one. They targets tourists mostly. We went on the July 4 weekend it was crowded. Its close to the subway so in the evening we went downtown to the 4th of July fireworks near Brooklyn bridge. The subway can be taken at 42th st near the hotel and a ride is 15 min on line 2 or 3. I liked that this hotel's lobby is on the 2n level. The lounge is quiet. The room clean we had a nice view on broadway lights.
Breakfast Room service! Expensive and at that price you expect something extremely fresh and nicely presented: well it was 4 small pastries a bol of fresh fruits on a plate, coffee, $34. Very noisy, Hotels should book entire floors to family with babies and kids because some families have no respect for other travelers living next doors. A family of 6, in 2 bedrooms getting ready from 6am untill they took off living their twins 2 yrs old crying and yelling until they took off at 9h30!! And finally check your bill at check out. I had a 39$ charge for Lounge meal we never ate their. The lady said that wrong billings happen sometimes. Client bill to the wrong room!! I travel a lot and I never had this issue.
