There was very unhelpful, inattentive waiter at happy hour. He got a $1 tip.
I had business at Convention Center and you just can't beat the location especially in the winter with ice storm. Hotel is very nice, but much better value in other hotels.
Don't like high internet charges. i became Rewards member to get free WiFi. Heat in room didn't work well. Hot water and shower pressure were fair at best
Room service didn't come until dinner time.
staff was helpful and friendly work out facilities were very nice
Location was wonderful! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and we loved the private lounging rooms off the bar in the lobby! Breakfast buffet was amazingly delicious.
Didn't like that there was a charge for WiFi. REALLY didn't like the high delivery charge for room service. My favorite thing about traveling is room service and I didn't do much of it because every order had a 5$ delivery fee. I ordered 1 Manhatten and it cost me 28$!!!! That is highway robbery!
Overall Ambiance Great location
Absolutely everything! Location, cleanliness, staff, comfort....the list goes on!
For that price they should have coffee and tea available in the lobby in the mornings It is a convention center yet when there is a convention they are not equipped with enough elevators. I did a lot of walking due to the lines
bed was good
cost for parking slow service in sports bar not enough restaurants in area
This hotel was great and the location was close to many attractions and shops
can say nothing great stay
Comfort, cleanliness, friendly staff. The rooms are decorated, very nice! I liked being able to out for meals and drinks, without leaving the hotel!!
I wasn't able to get access, to the "free wi-fi"!
Location is good
-There were molds on the shower curtain !! -Checking in took half an hour (they could not find my confirmation code !) -There was NOTHING in the room (even slippers) and minibar was empty -Breakfast was included but they did not ask even my room number when I went to restaurant ! At the end I told them that is included !
Free wifi only in the lobby, not in the rooms.
A regular traveler for business the stay here was a complete pleasure. I can not say enough about this location. From all aspects, staff to location, dining to room accommodations don't pass this Hotel up on your next stay in D.C. Easy walk to the local dining and all local sight seeing attractions as well.
Professional staff. Well maintained facilities.
No free wifi available in the room.
the lobby was nice
Very up to date and swanky rooms. The bar in the lobby was also wonderful and service was perfect.
The lobby has a strong perfume smell to it, which it a bit irritating. The room was on a low floor and the street noise outside was loud. Over the weekend at 2am I woke up to yelling and honking on the street. The hotel may want to consider replacing the windows facing the street on low floors with more sound-resistant windows.
The hotel location was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the customer service and the bartenders were phenomenal. Very elegant and relaxing to a degree.
The noise from the other room doors closing and hearing the room beside us using the bathroom.
Room size, beds, bathroom, staff
Beautiful lobby. Friendly & competent staff. Great location for Verizon Center attractions. Reasonably priced compared to equivalent hotels.
Bathroom in room could have been better maintained. Horrible experience at the Starbuck's in the lobby - extremely incompetent staff.
I called the front desk for extra cups and was told I would have to pay a delivery fee for the extra cups. I didn't think this was fair or convenient
1.Location 2.Allowed to check in earlier than scheduled check-in time.
1.Broken ice machine for the entire stay where we stayed on the 12th floor. 2.Steam room at the fitness center was down for the entire stay. 3.Wait staff failed to offer any kind of service at the Presidential Sports Bar for 30 minutes after being seated by host and it was a slow business evening. 4.Several front desk clerks could be more pleasant and helpful. Example: never offered to explain how to get to parking garage from lobby during check-in and check-out.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Had a problem in the room upon arrival (toilette didn't flush). They came within minutes to fix it. Had a reservation for a particular room and were suggested one that fit our needs better (which it did) without charging us more. Really great overall
The prices at the hotel bar were outrageous (4 $ for a glass of soda water from the tap)
Great location. Nice bed. We got free wifi in our room!
Breakfast should be included in the price. The roof was a bit low in our room.
