Staff was very friendly & helpful. They went above & beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We were also pleasantly surprised by how close it was to the beach!

Our view wasn't great but we didn't pay extra for beach view, so we can't complain.

We liked the location, the friendly staff, the breakfast Danishes and the staff. Also liked the spare set of towels and the large tv.

Shower over a tub, below the third floor you look at a car park. The aircon was noisy and the filters needed cleaning.

New hotel, spacious, roomy modern and very comfortable. Close to beach. Free continental breakfast - very simple but nice. For what they didn't have they had arrangements with hotels next door (booking services etc.). The staff knew everything - where to eat where to visit etc. The zoo was next door and the beach literally on the corner.

No restaurant, no swimming pool, had a very small bar. If you're after cocktails by the pool - this is not the place. But if you want something away from the 'crowds', this is nice, small,quiet and a perfect base to return to.

Fantastic staff - smiling, helpful and always available. (Special thanks to Adam) Location was perfect - 5 minute walk in sandals to Waikiki beach and the strip Room was modern and comfortable Room service personnel was very friendly and flexible.

Breakfast sucked...hope you like crappy pastries. Luckily there are tons of great restaurants within walking distance (Lulu's is great)

We have stayed several times because we like the ambiance of the breakfast and afternoon gatherings. The location, size and convenience of our car are important. The staff are special and with the small size we get lots of personal attention. This rare in Waikiki.

Getting the right balance between the tropical ambiance of Hawaii and the air conditioning is frustrating. The breakfast could be extended to ten oclock which takes away the panic last minute rush. We are on vacation and mornings are precious.

Air con noisey

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon. The staff were amazing from check in to check out. We got an amazing room as well as champagne due to us being on our honeymoon which was a nice touch! The room was beautiful and the bedroom huge! Room 909 had the most amazing view of the beach and sea too!

The only thing that would have made it amazing would be a balcony! But that's me being fussy! Just wanted to enjoy the beach more!

When we booked a hotel - it said that breakfast is inlcuded, but when we arrived only coffee and pastries were inclded. Last year we had cereal and fruits but this is no longer offered.

Everything, especially comfy bed. The best deal in town.

Very nice hotel and great location. Nice to have a free continental breakfast as well.

We had to pay $25 dollars for a crib, which was free in the other hotels we stayed at. It would also be a plus to have a pool.

The Staff is very friendly

The rooms are very small. They do not have an Ocean view. I do not care what the brocure says. Renue sits in between two larger buildings that block your view unless you are on the 9th floor. There is a very low rated APT building across the street & you can hear the foul language from the tenants there. My first room smelled like seaweed. Shower had mold in the tile. The neck of the shower head was missing so hairs from past guest were visible. We were moved to another room, same smell. Hallways are dim & painted a gloomy grey. I stayed two nights & left for another hotel.
