1. The attention to some of the design elements of the room, eg, the lights. 2. The staff - they were all excellent- friendly and helpful. 3. The location - close to, but not on, the beach.Set back a bit from the noise and chaos of the main road. 1. The air conditioning was noisy and blasted a stream of cold air. 2. The room (ocean view) was small and a bit dark and dingy.

A beautiful small room with great views overlooking Waikiki Beach. Bed was great. All staff were very pleasant, friendly and competent. The beach was 100 m away and the Zoo about 400 m away. Trail up to Diamond Head nearby and trolleys to city and shopping centres a few steps away, coming every 20 minutes or so. The breakfast bar nook was too small for the number of guests they had. Lots of places to get great breakfasts close by, however.

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Renew. We stayed for 3 nights for our honeymoon and loved it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even delivered a bottle of champagne and a hand written congratulations card for our honeymoon. The location is fantastic, we had a great ocean view from our room, and the beds and pillows are amazing!! The hop on hop off and shopping trolley stops are right out the front which was very handy. Will definitely stay here again!!! Thanks again Hotel Renew :-) It was hard to fault Hotel Renew but if I had to suggest one thing it would be for the hotel to arrange more tables and seating for breakfast time. Each morning we came down around 9am to find all tables and chairs were taken so the rest of the guests were trying to eat in the lobby area with plates on their laps, or some guests turned around and went back up to their room.

Excellent location. Star Bucks close and handy. Hotel fully booked and continental breakfast area is too small for the number of guests. Breakfast needs to be rushed to make room for others to sit and eat. No tea/ coffee making facilities in the room or available for guests to access.

The good location and the staff was nice. The relationship between cust/benefits is great! There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and all of trolleys lines stops there. We did not need take a taxi and we walked around to go to the best restaurants. The beach in front of the hotel was very nice too. The breakfast was poor and would be better charge more money and offer a little bit more like ham, cheese and capuccino, for example.

Excellent location (slightly off main drag), excellent and friendly staff, good daily breakfast, room fairly attractive, fairly spacious, good price (but parking 25 per day). Price escalates downward with longer stay. Detriments: noisy because tour buses park close to hotel, get early starts with loud idling. Not a lot of facilities (no health room, pool) because you are a block from prime beach. Lights in room are plentiful but very dim- hard to even read!

Very welcoming and helpful young staff. Room quite spacious and very comfortable. Bed lovely! Decor modern and in good condition. Nice breakfast included. Beach mats and towels available with no additional charge. It was exactly as the hotel described themselves - small boutique type. Very convenient location in Waikiki although not on the beach. Would most definitely stay there again. Room lighting just a little too subdued for me - but Eco-friendly!

Staff were great. Rooms nicely decorated. Liked that they provide all beach stuff and internet for free. Not much of a lobby. Breakfasts are boring and not great quality. No microwaves in rooms.

We enjoyed the boutique style of the hotel. The rooms were well presented, comfortable and lovely views. Kept clean very well. Staff and particularly the concierges were friendly and very helpful. We would recommend the hotel to any couple who are looking for a accommodation in Hawaii (Waikiki) without the impact of many tourists that you expect in the resorts and larger hotels. Excellent value for money. No real complaints other than the area for breakfast can be a bit small in terms of seating to enjoy their continental breakfast if you weren't early (around 7-7.30am) or late (around 9.00am).

It was awesome! so modern, lot's of cool stuff, excellent humor in every sign and notice. Everything was great, and we were almost wordless! One thing we didn't like is breakfast which is not gone help you if you are hungry. just fruits and milk and stuff like that, no real food :) (and sometimes there is no place to sit, as you eat in lobby)

Very nice design hotel. Very friendly and helpfull staff. The room has a huge bed with the best quality of TV. It was a very pleasant stay. We can imagine that one could be dissapointed when booking (and paying a lot extra!) for seaview. The hotel is not at the beach so just book a normal room.

The view of the beach was fantastic and the beds were very comfy. The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast is rather limited but it is included so adequate. The hotel is surrounded by other hotels so one feels like you're in a bit of a goldfish bowl as other guests from the hotels can see directly into the room.
