Location Staff were helpful
Amenity fee was additional, and mandatory whether used or not; this added to the total cost Ambience of room/public spaces was not particularly 'luxury.' Continental breakfast was so-so. Again, not what I'd call 'luxury'. Safe in room is awkward to access. Not enough power outlets for charging devices (but this is true in most places) It appears that my credit card has been charged $100 more than what my bill indicated would be charged.
Location Drinks and cold towels on arrival A complimentary cocktail Free WiFi All Staff were very helpful Complimentary breakfast Beautiful views of the ocean
Air conditioner was noisy Coffee machine didn't work
- great location - bed was really comfortable
- breakfast could have been better in regards to more options
- Good sized room - Excellent facilities (e.g. could rent DVD's / PS3 games - PS3 in room). - Biggest TV in the room I have ever seen!! - Great location - just a minute's walk from Waikiki beach and shops - Staff were really helpful and friendly
- Bar/breakfast area seemed quite small (in the lobby) - although we did not use these facilities. - Air con. in room was quite loud.
The Hall is so little...
rocation room condition vallet parking

Free beach towels
Crowded eating area at continental breakfast downstairs
So for our honeymoon we've been travelling around a bit, one of our stops was Waikiki beach for 3 nights, as Hawaii is generally very expensive Hotel Renew represented very good value for money. Hotel is very centrally located, our room was on 9th fl and had fab view of beach. We didn't have a balcony though but didn't miss it either. Staff were very nice, polite and accommodating. As it was our honeymoon the hotel sent up bottle of bubbly to our room which was very nice touch. Part of resort fee also includes dvd rental which was very good and again a nice touch which alot of guests seemed to avail of. The included continental breakfast included fruit salad, fruit juice, croissants, muffins etc. I would recommend this hotel based on location, room & staff alone. The added extras were very nice too.
Size of the breakfast area (quite small).
next to the ABC store.
noisy in the morning of house keeping. not enough light - dark room. The staff is not well trained.
Thehotel has a central place form which you can easily start tours in Waikiki
The breakfast is very poor, the bar is only open two hours. Cocktails are so lala
The staff was always pleasant and helpful.
Walls are thin and I could hear my neighbors all the time. Hard to find due to the one-way streets. I looked for directions on the website on how to get there from the airport and did not find any so drove around awhile trying to figure out how to get there given the one-way streets. The amenities are actually at the Marriott so you have to walk across the street and find them over there. I was there the whole week, and they only give you a single day's worth of coffee, you have to buy more if you want coffee for the rest of your stay. Not a four-star operation. Carpet needs replacing.
The hotel is small and nice, also very clean.
The breakfast is poor and the air conditioning does not work well. Was unable to sleep well because it goes on and off. Bathroom was slippery and I fell.
Staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Very friendly staff
Lovely employees excellent service welcome cocktail cleaness of the room attention to details
Location, great and helpful staff, nice rooms.
The only bad, rediculus thing about this hotel is the "amenity fee" which is 25USD/day. For this money you get less than what other hotels offer for free: only two Keurig coffee capsules in your room upon your arrival - the rest you have to pay extra, swimming pools across the street you will never use because they are dead small and you are in Hawaii - you will probably go to the beach, an uninteresting gym, boring breakfast (muffins and fruit) at the lobby, in an area that cannot accommodate more that 12-15 people at a time, and other indifferent "privileges". Shame, really...
Friendly, helpful staff & location of hotel.
Room decor and lighting too dark.
Just a couple of blocks from Waikiki beach and walking distance to Diamond Head crater. Nice modern hotel. Friendly staff.
WiFi a bit unreliable. Breakfast area a bit small - but vey nice.
The Rooms Location
Breakfast (we ended up going to other places) The Wifi didn't work the entire time we were there The spa in the other resort was out of order One of the staff members was not up-to-date with any tours/spas we could book in and was constantly flustered everytime we approached him
The valets are nice.
When we first arrived, it took our ages to find the parking place since the hotel is tiny. The room smelled very bad when we arrived. The worst part was the sheet!! It smelled so bad that we have to spay fragrance onto it!!! The room has no balcony, so we couldn't get rid of the smell!! Definitely not recomended! This hotel has no facility at all! And they charge 25 per night for resort fee!! Not worth the money!!! Worst hotel ever!!
Hotel. Staff. Extras such as cold towels and juice on arrival, room fragrance, free cocktail, free DVD rental.
Terrible terrible wifi. My husband decamped to Starbucks and the Marriot next door to use their free and fully functional wifi. We were told the wifi is an ongoing problem. If you are from overseas and need to keep in touch for work it is a big problem. Shame as it is otherwise a great hotel.
Hotel is located 200 meters from beach, rooms feel fresh and cozy, stuff is super-friendly, power in the room does not depend on presense of room key, fridge in the room is empty, so we had a place for our own stuff, shower and bath are clean and nice.
My biggest complain is that I was overcharged $450 above the price I expected. Basically, the price you see on Booking is without taxes and $25/per day/per guest "amenites" fee. What's worse, that $450 was charged immediately after I booked the hotel online. And the day I arrived, they charged me in full + $100 which they promised to correct when transaction lands (still waiting for that). Despite going $550 over budget, it was still expected that I pay for coffee in the room separately and the breakfast, although included in price, was a joke - tea, coffee, pineapple juice, and croissants (remember, I paid $50 daily for 2 persons, I could have steak for that money). Wi-Fi was useless, I had to tether through my iPhone all the time. Sleeping with AC on is pretty much impossible - it's the level of sound coming out of car engine. I would totally forgive everything if they were only more honest about real cost of the stay.
Free wi-fi and breakfast, very good staff, location is perfect, the size of the hotel made you feel more welcome and looked after than a larger resort.
Expensive parking but you can still park across the road (free from 6pm till 7 am).
