Lots of Hot Water! Quietness, very restful. Nice young woman, Lila, I believe was her name, at the bar. Close to everything.
One of our two rooms was not ready even at 4, and the listed check in time is at 3. It was, fortunately, only about 15 minutes later that we could get into it.
First room i got smelled like wet dog. They came and cleaned with chemicals but it was too much smell for me in the air. However, the changed my room and upgraded me.
Large rooms for the location and price Efficient elevators Helpful staff
Noisy aircondition/heater that I could not turn off
I was surprised by the price, they charged me more than what I saw and booked before through booking by more than 100$ !!
Location was excellent. Staff was very good. Room very clean. Nice comfortable bed.
Water pressure was very weak. Nice if a simple breakfast was included in the price.
The Head cleaning lady was so Sweet! The only one who was hospitable. .
The front desk Staff sucked. The white woman was rude and disorganized. She didn't understand customer service. I waited nearly an hour to check-in while the other guy at the front desk open and closed the main door for people. I was just completely disrespected by the staff! Won't stay there again!!!!!! Ever!!!!!!
Great location great staff.
The hotel doesn't have parking.
Proximity to 9/11 memorial Courteousness of staff Cleanliness
Bathroom very tight ( understandable because of real estate at a premium in Manhattan) but sink orientation very awkward with handles on side. Tough to use
Size of the room Cleaniliness
Value for money Attitude of the waitress @ the breakfast diner. Was allowed $20 per morning on breakfast and when I tried to order side dishes to fully use the $20, she said that could not be possible.
I booked the hotel based on the fact that breakfast was included on the website but after i booked it it turned out it wasn't. So i was very disappointed and could not change my booking. So be careful with the green line that says breakfast included.
staff was great
room was tiny--restaurant was small with limited menue
Great location Very friendly staff Lots of food option 3 minute walk to the NYSE
Thought the bed was uncomfortable Noisy, but that's to be expected
The proximity of the hotel to the 9x11 memorial (just a couple of blocks away) was a real positive. There were two staff like Stella in the front deak and Julia in the restaurant who impressed us with their ability to at least hear our requirements and responded adequately.
We were two co-travellers staying in separate rooms. During Check in there was little bit of anxious moments which could have been avoided had the front desk staff been considerate and sympathetic. The limits in our cards were blocked at some other hotel so we could not offer any single card to block the amount but we did offer two cards and also cash for blocking the probable expenses at the hotel but the hotel staff refused to accept it. The facilities were poor as for things like tea bags and wheat breads the hotel and restaurant staff did not hesitate to tell us that they were out of stock. Cannot believe this in a Holiday Inn Hotel. At the time of check out the front desk staff refused to give us a bill for stay, they said that would be sent by booking.com, but later better sense prevailed and then it gave us the bill. HI rewards club is another area that prople should be aware of. They opened another account while my previous stay at HI and the points there have not been included
The courteous, kind employees were five star in quality. We also felt very safe staying there. Rooms are small, but HEY we're in NYC. A plus for rooms is the quiet!
The restaurant did not look too inviting, but we didn't eat there, so we really don't know about the total experience.
Property was within walking distance of my office.
Property is located on a side street and difficult to locate. When you enter, it is a very small reception desk. My room was located next to the elevator but it was not disruptive. The room was very awkward and did not have soap in the bathroom. Beds were very hard.
Cheap Near to Subway (fulton st)
LOCATION WAS GOOD
THE LACK OF FACILITIES AT THE HOTEL
-Staff were very helpful & friendly -Rooms were very spacious and clean -Great location
Location was great. Breakfast was really good.
Couldn't connect to Wi-Fi. Asked the front desk for the password but it didn't work.
Proximity to Downtown Manhattan and friendly and courteous staff. Room was clean and neat and we came back twice and stayed during our 3 week visit to New York. We will be back!!
staff, location, cleanliness
once having the crib in the room, there was no other space anymore ;o) ... but all worked out fine !
The Holiday Inn Wall Street is located in a great spot, across the street from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and within walking distance to the World Trade Center. Prime location for sight seeing. The hotel itself is tiny in square footage, but makes the most of every inch. Updated amenities and very eco-friendly. Quiet stay with accommodating check out times.
Tight fit for a hotel, however making the most out of a prime real estate location.
- Location - Easy walk to parking garages, subway station - Seemed clean
- Everything is tiny. the hotel lobby is non existent and smallest shower and toilet ever. - No fridge / bar / room to move in the room. There's a bed and there's you. - Front desk is non committal on everything. The girl won't even answer straight for "Is the parking spot 'in front of the hotel door' OK to park on Sunday ?" or "what is a good place for breakfast around here ?" - No Wi-Fi. They advertise it, but doesn't work on most floors.
Convenient location to parking and to where I needed to be in the city. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Will definitely book here again.
The hotel was in the perfect location for what in needed it for. Checking in was a breeze. The beds were comfortable.
The toilet in our room ran all night long. And the bathroom had a sour smell to it with some mold in the shower. In the morning around 9:30 am housekeeping knock on our door to ask what time we were leaving. In all my years and all the hotels I've stayed in I have NEVER had that happen. To be woke up to that. Amazing! Also, when checking out I never received a printed bill. That's never happened either. The girl when checking out really didn't want to help. Oh well the hotel served a purpose.
