front desk area left little to be desired not a great first impression of hotel
the room was comfortable and clean
Clearly the staff are already over their guests, responding to questions about holds and billing policies with snarky rehearsed "polite" responses. I will pay a higher rate and stay elsewhere.
Convenience to subway and Manhattan and Brooklyn destinations. Affordable basic room available on short notice.
Pricey, as everywhere in New York.
Location. Friendly staff. No extra charges for 3rd and 4th person in the room.
Rooms are small. When we checked in thr reception people were seem to be waiting on each other to help us.
Small bathroom for 4 people. No more than one person can comfortably fit in front of the mirror.
For a quick one night stay on sort of an accommodation budget it was perfect. If we'd have stayed more than one night it would've been tough for 3A and 1C. Not a lot of space at all, but as I said for one night and 4 very weary travelers it was good.
Clean, comfortable room.
receipt is bad, a little wired
near wall street
the wifi connection
How small the room was
The bed was the best
The wifi is not so convenient . When you went back from outside, you need to activate the connection with the password each time.
reception area is too small
staff was nice, service in breakfast (the lady name Yula) is perfect.she very polite and professional
The pillows were too big
Parking was poor.
Location and friendly staff.
Location, proximity to public transportation, has all the basic necessities to make the stay comfortable, free wifi
I could hear all the noise from the corridor in the nights. When I arrived the receptionists asked me to give my card just for identification, but in fact she withdraw for all 4 nights plus 50 dollars. These 50 dollars are still blocked today on my card and I pay bank fee for that sum. I have asked her not to withdraw from my card as I wanted to pay by cash, but she lied to me saying that she will just identify me.
Wifi was good.
can get another 5 start in that much money.
The room was small, but I suppose, given that it was in New York, it should have been expected.
The staff especially the front desk staff, was extremely helpful. The ambiance great and the location, being near to the subway made accessibility to other areas convenient.
Loud, annoying music played constantly in lobby and, for some reason, in the street outside front door.
Good value for the money but lobby and interiors very basic.
On a Christmas day they never cleaned our rooms because they were saying their staff members are on a holiday. They never changed bedding since I arrived. They do not clean the rooms properly. I'd never advise anyone to use that hotel, it is trashy
I liked the fact that the building is closer to many areas of interest and the noise level around it is acceptable.
We got the wheelchair accessible room, which meant water splashed over us and the floor when we used the sink.
Quiet, clean and a very comfortable bed for a lot less money than I thought possible in Lower Manhattan.
The size. Not big enough for families. Not as big as an average hotel
The location is great, within walking distance of WTC, Ground Zero, ferry to Liberty Island, and subway for uptown travel. Above all else, the front desk staff and on duty manager were exceptional. Many thanks to them.
The hotel did not reach any of our expectations. The rooms were small and cramped and not advertised on Booking.com I found I did not get what I saw on the pictures. We had booked an Executive Superior room and that room was lower than a standard room. Had to move out and look for another hotel as this one was very uncomfortable and way below my expectations.
One of our two rooms was not ready even at 4, and the listed check in time is at 3. It was, fortunately, only about 15 minutes later that we could get into it.
Lots of Hot Water! Quietness, very restful. Nice young woman, Lila, I believe was her name, at the bar. Close to everything.
