Comfort and attractiveness of room Friendly and accommodating staff Ease of parking Lovely Christmas decorations which made it festive and warm Extremely quiet location, conducive for rest and sleep
Breakfast has very few options for vegetarians other than pastry and some potato offerings, and that gets tired after a week's stay
I've traveled all over the country and stayed at many 4-5 start hotels, including numerous Residence Inns. Residence Inn Boston Andover was spotless and very comfortable, but it was the staff that made it one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Every single staff member I met was very pleasant, helpful and down to earth. Even the complimentary breakfast was made better because of the young lady staffing it. She not only warmly greeted everyone entering the breakfast area, but was on top of everything. Best complimentary breakfast I've had at a Residence Inn by far.
WAS VERY GOOD STAY
I could not fault the Hotel at all
The room was amazingly confortable and spacious! Couldn't belived what we got for our money. Beautiful park surrounding the hotel.
Even if we did get a non-smoking room, there is still a cigarette smell coming from the ventilation system I guess...
The staff was great and super nice. Great service at breakfast buffet. The pool was nice and having pool towels supplied by the hotel is comfortable.
I'd prefer to have a safe in the room and hotel bathrobes would be nice.
Staff was super friendly and helpful! The bed was very comfortable....so important to someone who can't sleep on just any mattress and feel rested. Room was newly renovated - nice color scheme - great little kitchenette. Breakfast included was very convenient and saved us from having to seek out a restaurant before starting our busy day! Thanks
Smoke detectors sounding off at 3 am. No luggage rack.
The two-room arrangement was great. The bed and furniture were comfortable. WiFi access was easy and connections were fast. Staff was very pleasant and responsive. The breakfast in the morning offered cereal, waffles, scrambled eggs, pastries, yogurt, bread, sausage, and a potato dish. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available 24 hours.
We chose the hotel in part because it is pet friendly. To our surprise, there was a $100 nonrefundable pet fee per stay. That meant we paid a $100 pet fee to stay one night. That is the most we've ever see, and we have traveled a lot domestically and internationally. I don't know if I would recommend Marriott to others who travel with pets for that reason.
