Staff was very friendly and helpful. Many nearby eateries and shopping. Extremely pleased with the cleanliness and price!
No bending machines and the food in mini mart in lobby was pricey
The hotel location is not your typical location. It is located in one corner of a shopping center. However, don't let that detour you. The hotel was extremely well kept, but as other reviewers have remarked, the hotel has been open less than a year. It was just a minute or two off of I-35. I was in a studio "suite" that was very roomy. Although not divided into three discrete rooms, there was a kitchen area, a living room area, and a bedroom area. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, a small 2 burner stove, and a generous supply of cooking equipment including a full size refrigerator. One nice touch was disposable earphones in the workout area in case you forgot yours. And the breakfast was over the top featuring anything and everything such as eggs, bagels, cereal, yogurt, muffins, etc. Although I only stayed one night, I could certainly see my family returning and using the Inn as a "base camp" visiting local sites during the day and returning to cook dinner at night. But then again, there are several eateries within a very short stroll (1-3 mins) from the hotel. In fact, a Smash Burger is across the street as of 7/2014. The facility is relatively new so time will tell how well the facility holds up.
My only negative comment is that although the bathroom sink area is large, you either have to leave the bathroom door open or closed.; you can't leave it partially open. This is definitely not a deal-breaker but something to consider if you were sharing the room.
I liked that the facility was close to everything and very clean. Next to plenty of shops and eateries.
I didn't like that hotel welcome's big pets and the representative that checked us in didn't know the hotels policies about diffent forms of payment.
Low key hotel New Clean Spacious rooms Not far from downtown or campus Nice staff
Random location in strip center/ hospital area
Everything staff and facilities all good
Mattress getting very soft wit minimal support from box spring
great location. 2nd time staying here.
Staff very helpful. Facility almost new.
Difficult to find. Virtually no signage indicating it was a hotel.
We thought that the hotel was super clean and great value. The beds were super comfy. Breakfast included was great. Overall, a very good experience.
everything was good
Didn't like the way booking.com buried the information about tax not being included. "Total price" should mean total amount amount to be paid. Bill was higher than expected.
The room furnishings were outstanding.
The quality of the breakfast was only fair. More options are needed.
The location and price were decent given my business travel purpose. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Given that it is fairly new, it was very clean and spacious. Hope it stays this clean, because that is a very important feature it has going for it.
It was noisier than I expected. The noise from next door and above room woke me up a few times (poor insulation, I guess). Also, you can hear people in their rooms conversing as you walk down the hallways!! My room windows faced the street, so traffic noise was a problem also in spite of what seemed like a side street thoroughfare.
I loved how nice the receptionist was and how clean the hotel was overall. The room was amazing and the breakfast was great.
I didn't like that the hotel didn't have any signs to make itself stand out. It took a little while to find it because there wasn't a sign to distinguish it from any other building in that area. It's hard to find, especially at night.
The evening snack option
No shuttle from the airport
We loved the design of the Studio King Suite we stayed in. I am an architect and travel a lot for business. This was easily the most elegantly decorated long stay hotel I've stayed at, and I've stayed at plenty! The place was opened in January of 2014, so it is very new, very clean, and apparently very well run. I hope they post more photos of the individual rooms soon. They're lovely. If we ever head to Austin again, we'll stay there again.
The actual location of the hotel, in a shopping center, is not what I would have chosen, but it didn't detract from my feelings about the hotel. It was conveniently located, although surrounded by parking lots.
I was in town for a book festival and the hotel was a convenient location for the event and the proximity to the airport. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, but especially the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. I made the mistake of leaving the Do Not Disturb sign on my door all day, so my room didn't get cleaned (my fault!). Housecleaning promptly arrived the next morning and gave the room a full cleaning and replaced the towels, etc. What impressed me was the manager called to follow up on the service and if everything was to my liking. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I should make it back down to Austin.
Excellent Location in relation to the UT campus
Since they have only been open for a couple months - their outside sign had not been put up - still dealing with the City of Austin on approval per the Front desk. Therefore, it was difficult to locate in the shopping center area.
Everything about the place was top shelf staff and all came there from Bermuda to see my son run in the Texas relays
New property. Clean. Free breakfast and Happy Hour was a nice perk. Free wi-fi: thank you.
During SXSW, they could have used a shuttle service. Getting a taxi to this out of the way location during a busy time was frustrating. Sometimes up to 2 hours wait.
Friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, wide breakfast range.
The hotel's address isn't known yet in many navigation systems. This causes some confusion when travelling to/from the hotel.
The young lady that checked us in was very helpful. The rooms were clean. The shower head being opposite of the handle was a great idea.
Making a reservation that was non-refundable and then upon arrival finding out our room had been given away. And we were downgraded a room size. Now if I make a reservation for a room and it is non-refundable dont give my room away. Not Happy
Fascilities are good and small kitchen would be good if I come to with my family.
1. tricky to find the location. 2. breakfast was not mycriteria for hoyel but given price of this hotel, it was disappointing
We had not realized it had just opened two or three weeks ago. This was probably the cleanest, friendliest we have stayed in for a long, long time.
