Close walk to everything! Fabulous breakfast! Very clean! Staff very friendly and helpful!
Location Friendliness and helpfulness of staff Comfort and convenience of room Including different daily hot breakfast choices
Phone charges (city problem automated system)
The room was big and clean great breakfast.
It was very noisy, not the fault of the hotel just a recycling truck parked outside for about 30 every night at midnight. Could not sleep until it was gone even with earplugs.
Great price for bread and breakfast in a midtown New York location. Room was perfect and the breakfast was good and set us up for a day of site seeing. Free boarding pass printing and on tap coffee were a bonus
It was a bit noisy but then we were in central manhattan so what can you expect!?
Breakfast was great, location good.
Sofa bed was hell to sleep on but staff helpful and provided a mattress topper that made it bearable. Bedding for sofa bed also not great but again more blankets provided when asked for.
Comfortable rooms, really big for NYC
wifi was unpredictable
clean, up to date, great staff especially paul the door man. all time free coffee & wi fi. big loby with tv's & pc's. good, rich b.f. & if you like you can take it to the room wich has a nice kitchen with a big frig. & all the appliances you'll need. 24/7 near by s. market.
cooming to or from the air port - don't rely on the hotel to arrange it
Complimentary breakfast, kitchenette, balcony, spacious bathroom, lifts were quick, location is excellent & staff very friendly and helpful
Coffee machine didn't work properly some issue with filter was just producing hot water, maintenance called to room to check it but weren't interested once they saw it was turning on
Desk employees were very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room with big screen TV. Very good brunch included.
Great, modern, clean rooms. A lovely base to tour New York from
No kettle, just a coffee maker. We had to boil a saucepan.
Cleanliness and highly appointed fixtures all across the room and bathroom.
Shower door did not shut all the way but did not form any inconvenience. Construction out side almost daily.
Quiet location - but central; Great breakfast - included in price - particularly the waffles; Cake and card from Staff on my birthday - nice touch; Great kitchen; Wi-Fi - included in the price and worked well everywhere.
view from 11th floor - building work and workmen on scaffolding very near window! Very noisy when water/shower used in room next door.
Everything! Breakfast, the gym, amazing location and views.
Location was very good
Breakfast service and quality of food was poor Front reception staffs not very helpful tickets for show via front desk/ concierge and paid over 100$ dollars more for the privilege
When we asked for the things to be put right they were done very quickly - it was a pity that there was not any foresight which would have made our first night a bit simpler - we arrived late and had already ben travelling in Florida where we had received good service.
we specifically asked for non feather pillows due to allergies in advance but this was not actinide so we had to ask them to change the pillows; we had a 4 person King studio - the king bed was fine but he sofa bed was uncomfortable and was not made up so we had to ask for that to be done. The doorman was great - he let us know what to do - you would expect at 500$ per night that these simple things would be taken for granted. We ale for a view of thew Chrysler building and a room high up but neither were granted. There was one tiny bottle of shower gel which would not have been enough for 2 people for one night let alone 4 for two nights - we had to ask for additional items and only 2 cups. the sink plug was not working when we arrived so that had to be fixed. The description on Booking.com is misleading re the price- it douse say in small prin that taxes and service charges are to be added to the total but in the same sentence it also says that the price is the final price - we ended paying nearly 150$ more in taxes etc so it was quite expensive.
The breakfasts were fantastic and really set us up for the day, the range was extensive and changed daily. Our older teenagers loved the fact that the wi-fi was reliable. Beds were sooo comfortable. Location perfect.
Staff, atmosphere, breakfast, hygiene, great bed and tv
The construction and traffic is what you get in NYC, it's part of the experience, but we had a heating/cooling system that competed right up there with the loudest street noise
Good breakfast selection, good location, comfortable room, friendly staff.
WiFi access was intermittent.
The breakfast was really good and the service excellent!
The sofabed was to soft and quite uncomfortable. The wi-fi didn´t always work. Construction work outside and they started working early.....
Breakfast was terrific- lots of options. Each well prepared and fresh!!!
I wish there had been some outdoor space within the hotel, a small courtyard, rooftop garden, etc.
Very nice and accomadations great. Staff awesome.
Location, price, staff, breakfast were all very good to excellent. The bedding was first class, and the bathroom roomy and well equipped.
Everything except the bathroom is very tight. There are only two small elevators for a high rise. The corridors are incredibly narrow: you have to move the maid's cart in order to get a bellman's cart through. The kitchen is superfluous, although the full refrigerator was nice. Lighting and seating in the room was inadequate.
The location was pretty good. A short walk to the Subway, either at Grand Central or E51st Street. Breakfast was great. A huge selection of food. The breakfast staff were good as well. Very attentive. Our concierge was very helpful. Helped us get Rangers tickets at very short notice, with no fuss.
The room was very small and dated. The shower fitting was hanging out of the wall. The walls are very thin. You can here pretty much everything from the neighbour rooms and the hallways The room and all of the hallways need a refurb. They're a bit run-down and dated. Not what you expect after seeing the impressive modern lobby and reception areas. The gym could do with being a lot bigger, with a greater selection of equipment. A multi-gym tower and a couple bits of cardio are not enough for a hotel with that many rooms. Overall, a comfortable place, but not good value for money.
We have stayed here several times and the location is good for the UN. The staff, however, is completely incompetent.
Poor staff, poor value for money.
Location - easy access to trains, cafe's and super market. Friendly helpful staff in all departments.
Minor inconvenience of building activity behind Hotel
