Very large room with comprehensive kitchen facilities ( which we didn't need!) Great view, close to uptown and restaurants and bars, almost next door to the stadium.
Additional cost of car parking. Only one luggage rack.
The location was fantastic, the staff really wonderful, very clean and well maintained building. I would recommend this hotel. One more thing we faced the railroad tracks and every now and then a train would go by, we were not disturbed by the noise of the train, pretty quiet. Thank you
The bed was hard and the sheets slipped or bunched up exposing the mattress. Wi-Fi a little slow and costly if you wanted faster speed.
Nice location in uptown Charlotte. Good value for price. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had dinner at a wonderful restaurant called "Rooster's. The weather was absolutely perfect and there is small park nearby as well as several stadiums!
Consider changing brand of coffee!
I love the décor of the Residence Inn and the floor plan for the one bedroom suite. This is our 2nd stay here and the rooms are nicely decorated and clean on both stays. The complimentary breakfast is delicious they actually serve eggs and home fries, who does that anymore? Lastly I love the location to Panther Stadium, NASCAR Hall of Fame and the newly opened minor league ball park all with in walking distance. The value for this room in July is great also!
We ordered food at the bar (nachos) and they basically were a "hot mess" they were thrown together and microwaved. I wouldn't recommend them at all. The parking cost (not good) and we of found the parking spaces narrow to navigate as well.
parking-hassle getting out food- picked up at bar but once in the room order not correct breakfast was fine, except oranges were spoiled and bruised MAIN ISSUE- At 9:20am on the Sat.8th. Loud knock at door- said by housekeeping. When opening the door, after yelling there was nobody there. We were in rm 601 and the stairwell is across the hall. That is were they must have gone.I do not believe that this was housekeeping. Check-out was at 12:00, and no supplies in the hall. May help with your security.
Location was excellent while in town for the International Champions Cup. The added bonus of a minor league club right behind the hotel allowed us a fun night out for a few bucks. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and museums make this hotel my go-to the next time I visit.
With so many guests booked, the breakfast area got overrun quickly.
I loved the room. Spacious, high ceilings. Very clean. Great open kitchen area
I hated the bed BUT i have a Very high quality mattress at home so I am a bit spoiled.
Location to activities, breakfast, plesant and willing staff.
All staff met my expectations except the one on friday night (shawn, i believe his name was). He was very matter of fact, and abrupt with enquires.
Love the room had kitchen facilities with stove and fridge. Love the front desk representatives.
Did not like the fact that they had no valet parking. Parking was hard to get out they have a separate parking company and my card did not work when I pushed the button to call the attendent was very nasty and told me I cannot get out if my card did not work. She told me I had to go back to where i park get out with three grandkids and go back into the hotel to resolve the matter. I asked her if she can call the hotel. She told me no! I said why not she said she did not have the Phone number. So I had to go back park again, take my 3 grandkids out of the car and go back into the hotel, if this parking lot is representing the hotel why did'nt she have the number. She told me I could not get out the parking lot and did not care if she helped me or not. Did not like the fact the I could not use the bathroom in the lobby because they let everybody from the street use the bathroom and there was a line out of the door. Of course it was 4th of july, but I would think the paying guest should not have to wait and I had my grandkids and had to go back up to the 7th floor to use my bathroom.
The location was perfect. The breakfast was fresh and had a large variety. Staff were very pleasant. The set up of the kitchen area of our suite was excellent. Full size salt & pepper shakers were provided which was a surprise. The ice maker worked well and quickly.
I checked through my booking information and there is no mention of the $11 per day fee for parking. The $11 is not the issue - not knowing about the fee is an issue. The breakfast area wasn't arranged well; creating traffic jams and necessitating multiple trips. Also, the coffee station was arranged poorly creating another log jam. Our room was very clean, with the exception of the bathroom floor. It was dusty and looked as if it had not been cleaned properly in some time. Additionally, there was no soap for washing dishes, so they were left in the sink.
The staff was attentive and pleasant. The location was close to what we needed and our shuttle driver was great! He told us about events in the city and gave us some great tips.
Nothing against this specific hotel, but I wish hotels would put a separate counter/mirror area for dressing if someone is using the shower/bathroom. Makes it difficult for a family to get ready for an outing at the same time.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Excellent free shuttle service fir local trips. Highlyreccomend for a stay in Charlotte.
Good customer service at desk. The cook on Sunday was very polite and patient . Beautiful property.nice beds. Near a lot of shopping areas.very clean. Housekeeping staff nice and helpful.
Didn't get a good night sleep because the air and heating unit was so loud especially when it went off and came back on. I didn't mention it to the front desk. First time that I ever stayed at the four points hotel. On the phone I was told one price for breakfast and charged different at the desk .
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was very nice. Loved the free local shuttle service.
Would like to have wifi in the rooms instead of just in the lobby.
We were very happy with our stay, the people who work that week end (3/28/14), were out standing .
The furniture in the living room was not to good . It's was to hard to set for a long time .
I liked all of the conveniences like the shuttle, breakfast and WiFi. The pillows were very uncomfortable. I tried to order room service once and no one would answer the phone. I called the front desk several times and they said that they would have the restaurant call me but they never did. I waited until midnight and then gave up.
Could not get room service. Pillows very uncomfortable, could not sleep due to very small and hard pillows.
I traveled with kids and the knives were in a bottom drawer in the kitchen.
The overall experience was excellent. The staff were the best!! Sean and Stacy at the front desk should be commended for their service. I was very pleased!!
There was nothing that I disliked.
Very close for the game.
