Location location location. staff ver freindly.
Little expensive but fair
Perfect location, close to everything, and a very friendly staff. The room was large, clean and were fine for our needs.
The view was terrible - right under the a/c units for that building and the building next door. Was fine, as we did not spend much time in our room at all.
Great location and great staff! The staff who run the breakfast are great fun loveing people, it was a great way to start the day!
Long waits for the elevator. Wish we could go out on the deck that was next to the pool.
-Location was perfect for nightlife activities -The room size was adequate -Reasonable parking rates -No issues with room cleanliness
-The beds are horribly uncomfortable, the pillows were paper thin and there was hardly any bedding, had that damp hotel feeling -The front desk staff was nice, but were completely oblivious to the area in terms of recommending restaurants or places to go -Large groups of families clogged the lobby areas -Slightly outdated interior Very slow elevators (waiting up to 10 minutes)
location, view great breakfast
leaking coffee pot in kitchen, could not make coffee, but coffee at breakfast area in lobby was wonderful.
Must say I don't normally write reviews but these guys deserve one. The staff here was hands down the most helpful, insightful, and friendly I've ever encountered anywhere. I feel like they would have jumped in front of a car to get me a cab or whatever else we needed. They stored our bikes for us even after we checked out and helped load them in the rain! Special thanks goes out to Omar, the black bellman with the thick accent, and the skinny bald guy at the desk. Service is their specialty!
Room could of been bigger but we checked in late so it was prolly the only one they had left.
The view. The bed. The staff. The breakfast.
The parking was expensive and inconvient.
I liked the location. Will continue to go there.
Some rooms facing the parking lot. Not a nice view.
Breakfast was wonderful, but crowded. Not enough tables for everyone but it was a Saturday morning so that is to be expected I suppose. Perfect location and kid-friendly. We will definitely stay here again.
The hotel was is the best location. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable.
Location and friendliness of staff was terrific! Great breakfast but need longer hours until 10am mon-fri for tourists
Pool to small and dated. Jacuzzi not clean. Need bigger and thicker towels. Mattress on sleeper sofa needs to be replaced.
staff was excellent; particularly breakfast crew. Front desk was always very helpful Breakfast was great with main lobby having nice view of downtown. For the money, you cannot beat the location and parking options from the hotel
TV was in a weird position; hard to see from bed
The breakfast. The staff and especially the wonderful lady who takes special care of everyone during breakfast. She absolutely spoiled my kids.
The wi fi was very poor. Also the pool area was small and every time I walked in my eyes would start burning from the chlorine. It was worse in the hot tub. My eyes would burn so bad I had to leave after 5 min.
Very helpful staff, especially the breakfast supervisor
The sleeper couch in our room was not make up. Know one offered to make the bed.
The hotel is located nearby the Magnificant Mile and it's easy to get to Millennium Park and the lakefront. Our King studio was clean and beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Great service. Free hot breakfast. Beautiful view from the glass walled pool room on the 27th floor. But the ABSOLUTE BEST thing about our stay that will bring me back is Ismeta. Ismeta is the wonderful lady that works in the breakfast area. It is nothing short of amazing how she can be so attentive and warm and make everyone feel special. I am looking forward to coming back to see her next year.
The free wi-fi was weak. No oven in the king studio kitchen.
Great breakfast, super friendly and helpful staff. Free wi-fi. Good location.
We stayed at the Residence Inn for three nights. We know Chicago from earlier visits, but stayed in downtown for the first time. We liked our Kingsize-Bedroom with Kitchenette and had a great view. We could see Marina City, The Trump Tower and the John Hancock Center. The staff was very acomodating and helpful! :-) Your are very centrally located, so everything is close by!
We would have loved to have some Cheese and ham for Breakfast. But thats nothing really to criticize.
Helpfulness of staff, amenities, location.
Great location. Good rooms. Helpful and friendly staff.
Beds were too soft. Very little storage space in the room!
Room was small, we got a queen bed when we booked for a king. Didn't like the fact we were in a handicapped room. Expensive rates.
The beds were very uncomfortable. Did not have a good night's sleep out of the 3.
It was clean, bright and cheerful, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was very handy for attractions, transport , shops and restaurants.
No bar in the hotel
Location, staff and Samantha at the breakfast buffett, who was extremely pleasant, friendly and made it a point of making sure the guests were thane care of. It was such a pleasure seeing her every morning.
The garage and walk from garage to our room, involving travel down and up again to the room
