Score from 13 reviews Good
Located 2 blocks from the beautiful Pacific Ocean beaches of La Jolla, this inn offers guests the best in comfort and convenience, with great shopping, art galleries and fine-dining located nearby.
Score from 412 reviews Very good
Location, room size.
Monica, at the front desk, was beyond accommodating. As I had requested "no feather bedding", she immediately contacted housekeeping to make sure the pillows were changed. Being in the travel business for many years, and perhaps a little critical, I found Monica's caring attitude to me and other guests, a breath of fresh air.
execelent brekfest, friendly stuff, very clean, great room and kittchen
I like the location as it is close to shopping ,restaurants etc. Also the security and you feel homey.
I was not comfortable about the mattress and the furniture a bit old .
The location and the room size amd comfort.
Top floor room has a short wall to the ground floor, which is a risk for children.
Great localization and neighborhood
Room carpet a bit dirt, small parking lot, breakfast was a mess
Easy check in Clean, updated, comfortable room Spacious apartment with full kitchen Great location Friendly staff
our room was right next to the outdoor sitting area and maintenance shed by the main building so it was very noisy Parking fee for the complex is ridiculous, especially since it's non-secure
large rooms fully equiped kitchen
very dark room, hardly any sunlight; personal was NOT very friendly; housekeeping did not manage to restock used items like toilet paper etc.
Convenient location for my purposes. Proximity of shopping.
The layout of the bathroom area and resulting lack of privacy. Only one chair around dining surface. Early termination of breakfast service.
Though it was not close to La Jolla Village or the coast, there was a restaurant within walking distance.
It was disappointing to arrive and learn that the Managers Reception, which is standard fare at Residence Inns, was not available on the 3rd of July. I understand the 4th being excluded, but also the 3rd?? Price seemed very steep for the Studio unit we had.
I did not like the extra $15 for parking
Like the comfort bed and sofa bed
Room was large and comfortable Most everything was clean and well-kept
The bathroom was rather cramped in the shower/toilet area. Setup with vanity a bit awkward. We did have some ants in the room.
Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Sofa bed was unbearable.
Room layout, just about everything.
Kitchen - no need to eat out 3 times a day
The furniture in the room needs an upgrade. Free breakfast was uninspiring
Breakfast was good and accommodations were very nice and quiet.
The alarm clock went off at 6am. It would be good for cleaning staff to be sure alarm clocks are "off" after the last guest checks out. Only decalf coffee was in the room. The bed was a bit soft for my spouse; as he was in the side nearest to the bathroom, I'm sure that side is slept on more and consequently more worn out.
An electrical motor noise, every hour or so, specially during night.
excellent breakfast, super comfortable bed, nice linens, kitchenette
a little pricey, sofa-bed, as is usually the case, not comfortable to sleep on
Location and room Size
A little costly fOr 1 night $181
