Loved the room; it was quiet and the bed was comfy. Nice amenities. The A/C worked great, we actually got cold. Breakfast the first day was good, the food plentiful, however...

On Sunday, we went for breakfast at the same time as the day before, the place was trashed and we had to wait for anything hot. The lady gave me attitude and excuses about why food was slow coming out. That was after we checked in... At the time we booked, we were going to leave our little dog at home, but had to bring him after all. When we checked in, the clerk informed us that there would be a $100 non-refundable pet deposit!!! We were told that this because they sanitize the room for the next guest. Seriously? I know what type of biological matter is left behind by guests WITHOUT a dog and hotels don't charge a deposit for cleaning THAT. The room was non-refundable, so we were stuck paying the pet fee. In Portland, we happily paid a $20 pet fee, so this $100 was like a slap in the face. Clearly a blatant rip off. In fact the desk clerk couldn't even tell me what exactly they do to "sanitize" the room. (My guess is that they run the vacuum for 5 minutes longer.) And it's how the people who run this facility make up for the discounted room rates online. Anyone would be hard pressed to convince me otherwise. If you travel with a pet, DO NOT STAY HERE unless you like giving away $100. If you stay without a pet, ask for a room that previously had a pet guest because you were promised it would "sanitized".
