Perfect location for my visit to the area for a business conference. Nice rooms, friendly staff, and secured location. I was impressed with the kitchen: full size refrigerator, mini stove, dishwasher, and real dishes and silverware! The rooms were quite comfortable with ample living space to enjoy.
The gym was quite small with minimal equipment. The swimming pool was always full and was also small. Laps did not appear to be an option! The beds were comfortable, but the walls are very thin, making sleep impossible with noisy neighbors.
Distance from Metrorail
Breakfast very limited
The clerk that checked us in was very knowledgeable and courteous. The free breakfast was a bonus. My two sons loved the workout room.
The customer service that I received when I called. I kept calling to try to make a reservation/switch a reservation so that I could get the family rate for the family reunion that we were having and I wasn't getting results. The first time I called the lady told me that my 1 year old daughter would count towards the number of people in the room and that I needed to reserve 2 rooms. A one year old does not take up that much space, and our daughter sleeps with us. It would have been ridiculous for us to get another room.
Location, right across from the harbor.
Our suite wasn't clean. We found stains on sheets and walls. The staff is very friendly and accommodating but after we confirmed our late check-out with the front desk the cleaning person stopped by our room 4 more times within an hour asking when we were leaving. Lack of communication.
The hotel was wonderful. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast offered by the hotel was one of the best I have had, always several options. I would stay here again and would recommend to others. There security measures were better than the hotel across the street
This isn't necessarily about the hotel but more the area..we were in town for the 4 of July and had contemplated staying in National Harbor or going in DC to watch the fireworks in DC . Upon our return to National Harbor after the fireworks it looked like something from a movie...mass crowds of older youth and a small army of police officers. It seems the area needs to somehow monitor or control who comes and goes. The noise from the motorcycles was an issue on a couple of occasions late into the night. It is a nice area..I would not have felt safe having my children or myself in the crowd that was there on the 4th. The only other issue was since a few of the properties in the area were Marriott properties. .getting a taxi was an issue. I had to go across the street to get a taxi...all but once.
The price was not inline with the accomodations
Room , place, reception , breakfast and social evening
House keeping and room maintanence
Everything was as advertised and very clean.
The friendliness of the staff and the coziness of the building.
I did not have time to stay longer.
All of the hotel staff were very friendly, always smiled and said hello. It was very easy to check in and check out. The breakfast had a great selection. The location is great for any activity or attraction that you'd like to visit in the harbor.
I don't like paying to park, but that is the normal in the Harbor area. I also was excited to use the hot tub that is listed on the website; however, there was no hot tub to be seen.
The proximity to restaurants, bars and the harbor.
The free breakfast was limited and cold.
Loved the layout of the suite. Amenities were a higher quality than I am used to.
Unfortunately our location was directly next to the street/restaurant. Very noisy that Saturday night.
Security, location, comfort, convenience, access to taxi services with great ease, close to CVS, shopping, walking, water, movie theater, Gaylord Hotel across the street, eateries. Everything one needs. Breakfasts were excellent, staff was wonderful and friendly. Perfect place to stay!
This Residence Inn @ National Harbor is a great place to stay. Hotel Staff was very nice and accommodating; each time the saw me the addressed me by name, very personable. The Pool Area was nice and the lifeguard was very attentive which was greatly appreciated as we had kids swimming. Our adjoining suite was extremely nice with full kitchen containing all the extra's just like home. Comfortable beds and roomy bathrooms. I would recommend Residence Inn National Harbor to all my family and friends.
Parking in the garage was an additional cost even for Hotel guest. For the cost of the room and the location the Hotel should at least include complimentary parking to their hotel guest.
The location The amenities
The necessity to hold the entire amount if my bill on my card The amount I had to pay for parking The fact that I had to make up my own sofa bed
the hotel was very relaxing and clean. I loved the fire pit....
Room was beautiful
No hot tub but it was advertised
Enjoyed the restaurants, waterfront location, and the night life.
Upon arrival the original room had a horrible odor (moldy/moisture), and we had to be relocated.
