I was very glad that the shuttle to SeaWorld was available and we didn't have to drive ourselves back and forth; however, there were so many stops at several hotels and Aquatica before arriving at SeaWorld and then many hotels before going back to our hotel. The nice part was getting to know some of the other guests at our hotel seeing them on the shuttles, pool, and the park so we made new friends. Also, the Resort Guest SeaWorld perks were a huge plus--free quick queue, 10% off, VIP seating at shows GREAT! One very small annoyance, they provided coffee but I am a coffee snob and wanted my own kind. The coffee they provided was the type that comes in a filter package so although I brought my coffee, I didn't bring filters so I could not brew my own and was stuck with the cheap coffee provided. On the other hand, it was nice that so many things were provided: coffee bags, tea bags, sugar, creamer, mugs, glasses, plates, bowls, utensils of all types including serving, small pots and pans, iron and ironing board, blow dryer, even dishwasher! Overall, very good hotel.
My family loved this hotel. Our room was very good with 2 TVs so that kids could watch cartoons on Nick and we got to watch HBO in the evenings. I loved that we could change the temperature of the air condition and it took effect very quickly when we were too cold or hot. The kids couldn't get enough of the pool with the wade in fountain area for splash and seated play and the two sides of deeper pool for jumping in and swimming with us. It was really convenient that they had pool towels provided there to dry off so we did not have to use the ones from the room that we wanted to use for drying after showers and baths. Also, I was very impressed with the picnic and grilling area, sports courts, gardens, and outside space amenities in general. The staff was so courteous and helpful to everyone in our family and breakfast was fairly good. There were hot and cold choices each day, sweet and savory choices each day which was nice.
