The property is townhouse style, no elevators, three flights of stairs to our room- not convenient with small children, have to walk up and down to breakfast, laundry facilities, etc. Maintenance problems in room- report to the front desk but honestly not a huge deal just little things that need addressed.
We were upgraded to a larger suite in their random lottery to balance bookings.
It was close to the Moda Center, and close to Bars to have a cool beverage!
Didn't like the bed and pillows provided. They were too soft.
Great location, very central to most Downtown attractions and within walking distance to Lloyd Centre mall.
The blanket for the sofa bed was filthy (clearly not washed, covered in hair, black stuff dried onto it). When I called for a new one, the new one also had hair on it. The floor outlet made the light flicker if you touched it. I was told that if the door wouldn't open, or if the phone wouldn't work, "just give them a good push".
It is nice to have a kitchen, and the kitchen was nice and updated.
Long walk to breakfast area and freeway noise
Essentially a little apartment
There were ants in the kitchen
The free breakfast and evening appetizers were great. The staff was amazing
Sound of shower/water a bit noisy between units - not a problem unless your neighbours are up very early, as was the case on this stay, at 3am!
Friendly staff, great location, very comfortable, free parking, free WiFi, great breakfast. We have stayed here several times.
Good quiet location for visiting nearby family members. Free parking an added benefit. Good to know they accept pets which we travel with during our military moves.
Windows 8 and wifi issues
No bad experience, but part of the facilities are very close to a freeway and train tracks. Traffic noise is almost always in the background.
The front desk staff was very helpful - via maps that were looked at with me - with helping me navigate around a city with which I am not familiar. The room was spacious with a comfy bed.
Roomy, comfortable. Everything works! Good breakfast.
Walking noise upstairs, paper thin floor?
Full kitchen, location, lady at reception
The bad is definitely out-weighed by the good, but it should be noted that the bed was not very comfortable. I've a pretty high tolerance for this, and in general don't complain about such, but both my wife & I experienced back pain the next day as a result of (we assumed) an uncomfortable night's sleep. The worst thing, though, is that thinness of the walls / ceilings. At times, we felt as though we were in the hold of a ship. The creaking of ceiling wood with each shift of a body upstairs or a footfall next door, was not a minor problem. In the future, I will ask for a top-floor room, and may not be able to return if none are available.
The free parking is very helpful, as is the location to at least two major bus lines & the MAX. These will get you nearly anywhere you need quickly & efficiently. The pet-friendly policy was also appreciated. Finding a nice, clean, safe hotel that accepts pets for a reasonable fee is often difficult. The kitchen was outfitted nicely with plates, oven, etc. Made for a cozy final evening by the fireplace.
I especially liked the 12pm check-out time. The majority of hotels are 11am sometimes even 10:30am. When I'm on vacation, waking up early to pack is not my idea of relaxing. Not to mention how easy it is. They have an express check-out so you may leave without waiting to return the cards at the desk. The full refrigerator and kitchen was a very nice feature. Allowing us to cook and save money by not eating out for every meal.
I liked the size of the 2 bedroom 2 bath studio. All 6 of us had room to stretch out without bumping into each other.
upstairs, narrow stairs, no elevator electronic key difficult to use dinette chair leg about broken ran out of hot water with half of bathtub full. bathroom around toilet and behind door a little bit dirty couch was clean but felt like you were sliding off of it. strange. difficult to use the stopper in the bathtub.
crisp white sheets - clean roomy shampoos and soap handy dimmer on lights for mood all and all a very nice and clean room excellent staff... extremely nice and pleasant no mildew on grout in the bathroom besides one chair = everything worked and in good shape
Some noise from train and traffic if windows are open.
Friendly staff, good price, breakfast, wi-fi, and a big, comfortable room. The hotel is close to the Lloyd Center, MODA, and easy access by train or car to downtown.
Stairs might bother some people Beds were a bit stiff (I personally liked it but my friends were mildly displeased)
Size of room Very clean kitchen area well stocked Fire place was nice
Mattress was very uncomfortable
Great service and breakfast, very quite
The staffs was friendly and helpful with our luggage. Kitchen with full size appliances.Awesome! We plan to come back once a year.
There were NO negatives!
Our stay was very pleasant. The room was spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette very handy and well stocked. The personnel most friendly and the breakfast bar fully stocked and delicious! We were most pleased with our stay and the accommodations!
There wasn't anything - I suppose the lack of a lift may be a problem for some people.
Lovely apartment loads of space and fully equipped. Only stayed overnight but Would be great for a longer stay. 5 minute walk to tram so no problem getting into city centre ( 10 min trip)
Check-in was supposed to be at 4pm, but it was 4:30 before they were ready for us to check in. The room had a fireplace in it, which was a nice perk, but then we kept smelling something burning (which we assumed was another unit's fireplace, but it was still disconcerting). We were woken up in the middle of the night by the tenants above us talking and walking around.
The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff let us do late check-out, which was nice because I was able to take a bath and relax after running a marathon. The bed was very nice, and there was a full kitchen and two full bathrooms. Within walking distance of the MAX train to downtown, and there is a Safeway and Peets close by as well.
The free breakfast was good there was a shortage of tables for so many guests, tables only seated 4 people and as a family of 6 people we had to sit at two tables.
A nice suite which accommodated 6 of us comfortably.
