The location is great and the room was quiet and comfortable. We slept so well.
Breakfast food quality was pretty bad--it used to be better. I didn't eat much. Wish there were a few more choices, as there used to be.
Swimming pool is nice, but really too small, and no dressing room (so we had to go to room in wet bathing suit). Our big spacious expensive room had a kitchen and fridge, so we could provide in our own breakfast (and that was necessary). Staff is friendly.
The wifi is almost non-existent: automatically logging us off within a minute, hardly any coverage, very low bandwidth (same for internet by cable access). Breakfast is meagre, simple, very basic (we provided itself in our own kitchen). No bar, so no place to hang out with friends, except our own room. Parking is very expensive. Hotel is built under (!) a highway-set-of-flyovers, so the noise is terrible, buzzing all the time in the room, deafening when you step outside. In total: absolutely not worth paying so much per night for.
This is close to Interstate bridge, you would never know it. Quiet, comfy, close to waterfront.
Breakfast was the good part.
Noise from A/C and refrigerator horrible. Could not get good sleep. Maid refused to make up sofa bed and just about threw plastic bag with sheets at us. Second night came back late and tired to find room not made up. This was a 72 yr old traveling with 15 yr old grandson. We are quiet and polite. Staff never smiled. Terrible experience.
Bfast for family. Walk to park, shops.
Not very upscale.
- all the staff were pleasant, polite and friendly
-you are actually a distance from downtown, which I believe is contrary to the way your facility is advertised -the staff were very pleasant and friendly, however, they seem to have little to no idea about any events, happenings etc. in Portland -housekeeping did not replenish tea bags etc in the room & one night when we arrived back at 1.30am, housekeeping had taken away all the linen & blankets from my room and not replaced them. a very pleasant security staff gentleman delivered bed linen etc to our room & I had to re-make the bed at 2am -there is no access to tour facilities from your hotel & your counter staff simply refers you to the brochures in the lobby -your breakfast service ran out of food & coffee just about every morning despite there being 20-30 minutes of remaining time for your breakfast schedule -although you advertise coffee all day- your urns were almost always empty and if there was coffee it was cold
Close to waterfront, walk, tram and some restaurants. Breakfast was excellent!
Loud and droning noise in the room from traffic crossing bridge and viaduct which are virtually outside the hotel windows. Foldout sofa is very uncomfortable. This room should not be listed as "sleeps 4".
Kitchen was nice
Sofa bed was awful
I loved how attentive the staff was as well as the consistent, excellent customer service they provided. I also enjoyed how close the location was to the downtown area.
I do not feel the room we stayed in was worth the amount of money we paid, nor the fact we were charges a huge amount of money on top of that for parking.
Everyone was so friendly!!!
Staff was very friendly and efficient and were always helpful. The room was fine - had everything we needed and was quiet.
The location is a bit far from everything - from the map I thought it'd be a bit closer to the nice part of the riverwalk but it seems to be an up and coming neighborhood. Certainly easy to navigate.
Would definitely come back!
I have stayed here twice now and have had excellent service both times. The wonderful breakfast is my fav!!
Paying for parking
Convenient to Trimet streetcar and bus lines and the Portland Aerial Tram; close to downtown and attractions like OMSI. Breakfasts were very good.
No cocktail hour during the Christmas week.
pool, breakfast, comfortable family room
The breakfast was awesome.
Someone was sleeping on the pullout coach in the living room, so if the bathroom was needed in the night they had to come through the bedroom where others were sleeping.
The place was ok, it was not great.
Having to pay additional money for parking.
Not enough elevators to serve so many people at the lobby level This hotel is over priced. You are paying extra dollars for the name. The hotel is nice but just to expensive for what you get. The parking fee is ridiculous.
