The staff was really friendly! The location is perfect!
+ Included breakfast quality. + Complete Kitchenette. + Location downtown. + Safe surrounding + CVS pharmacy downstairs in the same building + Two blocks from Mac Pherson Metro station
- Street noise at night (but understandable as we were downtown for new years eve) - Breakfast time was crowded, even though the room was quite big...
The room was clean and huge
The metro station was close. The CVS next door was well stocked. We actually cooked dinner one night from CVS supplies on our 2 burner stove. The hot breakfasts were excellent. There's coin laundry if you need it. Dishwasher. Housekeeping was awesome. Can't say enough. Definitely would stay there again. Great location for travel to the mall and museums. The full size fridge has an ice maker. The room was roomy. I don't know what else you could ask for honestly. There are several restaurants on the block including a jimmy johns.
The close by metro station was not the nicest one although we did not have any problems.
(i) The hotel has an excellent location, walking distance from the White House, Mc. Phearson's Square Train Station, Macy's and several restaurants (ii) Large and clean rooms
(i) The evening Tea could be extended to all days of the week (ii) Wine could be served during the evening Tea
staff was friendly AND breakfast was great! location central, fun to walk around town
Great service, great atmosphere, such a good deal. I loved that it is so close to the museums and other attractions. The full kitchen was so convenient with an infant. We will definitely stay there our next trip
I liked the cleanliness of the facilities and the customer service of the staff.
I didn't like the lack of parking options, even though the valet staff was awesome.
Pullout bed mattress was very uncomfortable.
The night clerk (Andre) was especially helpful. I wanted to mention him by name. Breakfast was a nice touch.
There was no bin in the fridge for the ice maker. One of the legs on the fridge was off balance. Traffic noise.
Location, large room, good facilities. Excellent breakfast included in the price.
The hotel was centrally located for the activities we had planned. We could walk to the White House tour, one of the Trolley stops for our DC tour and an excellent restaurant (Georgia Brown's). The staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive to our requests.
This is a very good traveler's hotel. It doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of more upscale hotels in Washington DC, but, for someone coming in for a quick night, this provides what you need. The in-room mini kitchen is a plus. The on-site breakfast and light dinner were quite welcome. Overall, an excellent value for a high cost city.
There really wasn't anything I didn't like, but in order to leave a review, this thing tells me I have to put a minimum of 200 characters.
beautiful room, available kitchen, good position, fantastic breakfast
Location, very big room, good facilities, good price
Breakfast is fair but included anyway
Kitchen. Laundry room. CVS store beside it. Helpful staff. WIFI. Complimentary Breakfast. Reasonably good location. McPhearson Square nearby for getting around.
Funny smell in stairwell some evenings. Also bad smell in one lift one evening. Beds just a bit too soft for some people with troublesome backs.
Everyone was very friendly and super helpful.
The kitchen light was out and the kitchen faucet was loose. Otherwise everything was great
The king studio has decent size, free breakfast is decent compared to other similar hotels, the location is excellent, the subway is 5 mins away and there is a capitol bikeshare and CVS around the corner.
We got a room that wasn't ready (still to be cleaned) and the front desk was not very responsive (literally gave us keys for a new room and go see if this one is ready. Not what i expect from a hotel when you pay 200 $ a night ...
Hotel was close to the convention center and monuments. The area was safe for walking.
Parking was somewhat pricey considering we did use our car while we were there.
staff friendly, big rooms,
bed small, needs updating, rooms need renovating, which they are currently doing, I believe they are up to floor 6 so get lower rooms than 6.

Noise from renovations. Inability to move to a different room away from the renovations.
Good location to see the monuments and memorials. It was a very pleasant and clean hotel.
