Pool and outside area were very clean and the poolside restaurant/bar was good and reasonably priced. People at front desk were helpful and friendly.

The rooms really need updated carpeting and beds. The beds were horrible! My husband could barely sleep. Also the walls and floors are so thin... we could hear the people/kids above us walking around for hours at night.

The two young ladies at the front desk were wonderful -- they were pleasant, professional and extremely helpful! And the gentleman at the outside restaurant/bar was extremely helpful as well and very pleasant. He only works on Mondays!

There was nothing we did not like about the Rhumb Line Resort. It was a very pleasant stay and convenient to the center of town!

Small crowd, which allowed the kids to feel very private at the inside and outdoor pool. Very family friendly.

The rooms and the hotel appeRance is very old and run down. The rug and fixtures aa well as the furniture were broken down and flat out disgusting. My family and i stayed for 3 nights during the week day at over $200 a night. It appears that that is the average rate in this area, but it ia not worth the price. The place is at the level of a camping cabin. I was expectong a bit more tasye and luxury for the price.

The location was nice; very quiet.

The desk person, Katie, was very brusque and rude - both days. There was a power outage for a good share of Friday evening and Katie informed us that the motel would be doing nothing to reimburse guests for the inconvenience! It seems that they could have at least given their guests a free pass to the ocean, which is only $5.00/day!! It has been a long time since I encountered a front desk person as rude as this one; so rude in fact that she spoiled the whole visit. I will never go there again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else.

The resort was in a great location. You could get into Kennebunkport with in a matter of minute and that is going two different routes. You could also travel to other towns within 15-30 minutes. They had two pools one inside and one outside. They also had hot tubs that were the same as the pool. They offered a free continental breakfast daily. They also had a nice bar/restaurant called the Admirals Table. The food was very good and the drinks were very good as well. There was a really nice casual atmosphere.

The parking for some was not very convenient. Not all guests were able to park outside of their room door. The continental breakfast could have had more variety. The area around the pool could use some lawn care. There were weeds growing inside and outside of the pool deck. The last night of our stay it was raining just a little bit and the power went out and there was not a backup generator for the resort.

We were very happy about the location and amenities. The pool was great and the Admiral's Table was so convenient.

We had a problem with our room keys on Saturday and could not get into the room. We called the desk and were told they were to busy to bring us a new key we would have to come and get it. We did that on Saturday. Sunday as we were trying to get into our room to get ready for a wedding, same problem with the key, called again got the same response, they were too busy we would have to come and get the keys, I refused and insisted they send someone over with a new key. They did, but the woman who brought the key seemed obviously annoyed in spite of the fact that it was our 2nd time with key problems.

From the minute we arrived the toilet was running. we would have to jiggle the handle to stop it from running. The refrigerator was wet and would not cool up enough, even though we had it at 7. I guess we expected more and wanted to be closer to the beaches. Parking passes were a hassle to get given the crowds.

I can't think of anything other than the woman who greeted us, but then she told us that what was offered on booking.com was inaccurate, and that there wasn't a room like the one that had been featured, ie no king bed.

Resort??? This was worse than any bad, cheap motel I have ever seen! Cheap, cramped, low class, tacky, poor quality, and the list goes on! They claim to have a restaurant, but it is an outside grill and bar, and some picnic tables! Lousy bed, see-through towels, plastic chair, and a warning not to plug in two electrical appliances or the lights would go out! And some of the lamps were missing their switches, so I guess it didn't matter! Couldn't get out of there quickly enough! Stay away!! There are too many other nice places to stay in the area, which we didn't discover until too late. A tent in a campground would be a step above this hole!

The outdoor pool area with a bar, food, music etc. is nice. You don't even need to leave the premises if its only a couple days. Pretty much self-contained. And there is a small grocery store 2 miles away or so.

Very pleasant staff. Large, clean room. I was on family business and did not take advantage of the touristy things that were available. I would recommend this hotel to others. Competitively priced for the area.

I like the fact that it seemed to be in the middle of no where and so close to downtown shopping and only 15 to 20 minutes to Old Orchard Beach. Loved the country atmosphere!

I did not like the fact that they charged $ 1.50 a day per person for "maid" service. This was not known before getting to your room and seeing the little sign! I think that should be built into the price of the room not a separate charge.

Nous avons aimé le calme, la quiétude et le silence : l'emplacement de l'hôtel est bien choisi. Nous avons aussi remarqué la gentillesse du personnel et le confort de notre chambre. La salle à manger est agréable et nous avons apprécié pouvoir prendre le petit déjeuner en toute quiétude.
