Richmond Hotel  

There is nothing Superior about a Superior room at this hotel. Bed linens were sparse, towels like sandpaper, pillows hard as a rock, beds uncomfortable, a/c rattled like a bus was parking, and silver fish insects were crawling on the walls. There was mold in the shower, hot water was barely warm. Beware of the pool, chemical levels were so high that my eyes burned for days. I travel to Miami frequently and am very familiar with the vintage buildings, but aside from the location, this hotel offers nothing. I would recommend paying a few extra dollars and staying in a real hotel, this is a step above a hostel, but was at least safe. Also be advised if you are looking to share a room, they only have twin beds pushed together or separated to accommodate this request. I payed for 3 nights but left after two even though I had paid for the third.

There should and must be a restaurant serving dinner. Upgrade the front of the building / the facade has been there for ages. $10.00 charge for a lounge chair is excessive for a guest stayign at the hotel.

Great staff, great location, hotel is a classic, a good price, but needs some updating.

Very nice pool area and beach access

Thin walls can hear everything in other rooms makes it difficult to sleep if there is a party going on. No beach chairs for use, being that neighboring hotels provided beach chairs & umbrellas for use to guests.

The access to the beach was just 100 yds away!

The noise was terrible during the whole time I was there. Admittedly, it was Spring Break, but the main issue was simply that none of the doors seemed to fit and you could see clear gaps around just about everyone.

Enjoyed the home feel. Location and keeping the original art is great.

Front check in staff could have been friendlier, computer broken our whole stay, missed googling local attractions and bus info. Cleaning staff very friendly.

We liked the fact that it was close to Lincoln Street centrally located.

We were not impressed with the shower since it had low pressure.

I belive this hotel is very good with pleaseant staff and in a good location the terrace bar and resturant with the ever attendant Gustav is a real addition to the hotel with good food and a pleasant manner. I will deffinately be returning.
