Staff was friendly. The true, hidden treasure, were the other guests we met during our stay.
Clean and well priced. Cozy spot. My family and I had a great time. Old but like I said, clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.
Room was supposed to be non smoking. Smelled like someone had been smoking. Fridge did not work. No remote for TV.
Outside was dirty..inside it was actually a decent place to stay.
Bathroom was not clean.
The motel is just what it says on a ridge it has gorgeous outlook of the mountains. rooms were clean and had a rustic feeling. We enjoyed our stay.
Staff was very friendly and available. Surroundings were beautiful.
This motel was much older then most, fridge did not work& shower leaked all over floor. Front door is very old and needs updating to feel safe. For the price I could have stayed in a nicer place.
Smell. Had to ask for toilet paper upon arrival. Sheels wouldn't stay on bed. Checked out early due to mold on room
entire motel needs to be updated
Excellent place for the money. The owners are very friendly and willing to do just about anything to make their guests happy.
Anything that I mention is going to be too picky, not a big deal.
It brought us back in time, great to see this. Very clean
The bed was too lopsided uneven.
clean but dated,
minor shower issues
The location isn't good when it snows! Lucky for us, the Ridge didn't get snow when we stayed!
1. The heater is too loud (too much noise). 2. The shower turned from warm to very cold (I take short showers). 3. The bathroom looked very rough(outdated). I am a world traveler and stay in many places and this is definitely the worst I stayed in. When I checked into the hotel, there was a sign on the counter-NO REFUNDS now I know why it was there.
location comfort price
it was clean and the lady at the desk was very nice.
It was really old, looked rundown. You could hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms. It had NO microwave in the room. They still use a KEY, not a "card".
ants in the bathroom
Clean nice place
Was dated but had made good updates
Friendly staff. Great price. We used this hotel as the launching point for a hike in the Smokies. Great for hikes on the southern side of the park.
Clean, but very dated. Good value. Fairly quiet. Well lit parking.
Non-smoking room reeked of smoke. We bought and used Febreze but to no avail. Cigarette burn holes in bedspread. Taking a shower was excruciating... water would change from ice cold to scalding hot with no warning.
bed was comy and loved view of mtns
walls r thin and could hear our neighbor but was nit a huge deal and town closed down early
Room did not have blackout curtains
The staff was nice. Short drive from the casino. Quick check in and out.
Walking on floor in the bathroom on the second floor, it felt like wood was rotted. Didn't feel safe.
The ice machine was too close to the room and people were in and out all night.
the owner of the motel offered us a larger room at the same price to accommodate my wheelchair. He even offered to let us drive on the grass in order to reach the room more conveniently. Everything was clean and very quiet.
being in a wheelchair the pavement was a little uneven, but not really a problem.
Bed was good and sleep well.
Shower did not work right and there was very little hot water.
