suggest they have packed breakfast for early depasrtures
It's about what you would expect for the price. Basic, spare room, not much space. The breakfast was actually really good with waffles, cereal, yogurt and more. Only real complaint is there were lots of bugs in the bathroom. They would all come out when it was dark. Staff was efficient but not friendly for the most part.
Walk everywhere. Historic feel. Quiet. In room coffee. Fresh cookies in lobby
Large roach seen twice. No towels in room on checkin. No maid service while I was out all day. Room was tiny and dirty dusty corners. Poor fruit in breakfast room. No herbal tea ever.
The location and the staff
How small the rooms were we put 2 bags on the floor and tripped over them due to there bring no floor space left to walk on
Lobby, staff attitude, especially bar staff, location
Dingy room, wifi didn't work, ants and a cockroach in our room. Manager gave us discount because of this.
Cali's a big place. You need to figure exactly where you're going. This hotel had the perfect location for us - 3 lads from the UK looking to party. You're right next to LA live and the metro to Hollywood. Watch out for the sketchy parts round the corner I.e. Skid Row.
I had such a pleasant time. Anything I list here would be nit-picking. If you're after somewhere to sleep - then it's fine. Don't expect anything grand.
downtown, parking nearby, reasonable rate, plentiful continental breakfast, safe, clean
old, small room, t.v. didn't work, very small shower
The heat, never got warm enough.problem with heating unit
Excellent location, very fair breakfast for the price.
You get what you paid here. This is a very old hotel with 0 renovation.
Nice hotel let me fell as in my home.
Noise, old rooms albeit they have been renovated.
Bed bugs bit me while staying at the hotel and they didn't even give me a discount. I had, not a few, but about 10 bit marks!!! So itchy. They did changed my room after complaining...so be careful...
only 3 blocks away from staples center, hard to find such good location with so low price. Service is good as well, meet my demand.
Not clean. found 4 little cockroaches in my room, can't sleep at all. Don't know if it's a single case ( in my room only ) or not. But if you are not afraid of small roaches, it's a great choice.
the staffs always there when I called. they were very pleasant. The place very convenient .
Room was small but had high ceiling, light and airy. Coffee machine in room. Free breakfast was great, lots of variety of cereals, waffle machine, fruits. Hotel building is old school L.A., which is awesome.
Drapes let in too much light in the morning. There were some ants in the bathroom. No vanity space to put toiletries in bathroom. Carpet was dingy and needed a good steam cleaning. Entrance into bathroom is raised so you must watch your step or else it's easy to trip when entering bathroom.
Just the location
The beds sucked! Twin beds are for little children. This hotel is in a prime location, and probably has well enough money to give the rooms a nice remodeling!!!! The TVs are still Tube TVs, which NO store sells anymore. The mattresses are like the ones they use in a Jail Cell. The rooms just really need remodeling bad!
The location was near the Nokia Center like it was advertised
The room was not completely clean we found unwrapped condom and empty bottle of water underneath the bed stand while looking for tv control which wasn't in the room and it wasn't given to us at check in either. Checkout took a while because there was only one person.
got bitten all over, by bed bugs, asked front desk to change the room, room was not changed for two nights. WiFi not available in the room,
close to Staple Center.
overall condition of the place. Really could use some renovations.
The rates and convince.
Some of the attendance at the front desk.
Location, plenty adequate, quite inexpensive, location, inexpensive, location ...
Old and worn but with attempts to keep it up and tidy.
I liked everything
bed was oh so comfy..room very small..aircon very noisy..wifi not good till i complained an moved down 5 floors....brekky great value....location great......shower water barely trickled out..took forever to shower...
shower was very poor water delivery......tiny room....noisy aircon...
Nice, friendly helpful courteous staff, great place and just a brisk walk from the convention center. Clean room older but well maintained building.
Price and location
The room was old and dusty, especially the cupboard.
