Very affordable and convenient for our trip to the Rose Bowl. We didn't expect much for the price and it was exactly what we needed.
Room was very small but we just laughed it off because we knew not to expect much for the price.
Location, near bus and train station, the manager hotel
Internet poor, Aircon noisy n some heater mal function, Breakfast menu bored, closed flush poor, hotel staff some impolite
I love the fact that it's near LA live. The prices are not so pricy. It's affordable.
I didn't like the fact that my rooom key card was not working properly.
good location and breakfast included.
room had no refrigerator.
Decent hotel, some may take issue with it but for what I needed it was great ,walking to staple center for events ,Market accros street it was perfect and we have stayed here 3 other times,I felt safe.
That's a trick question..... Its not the Ritz Carlton...
Very old facilities, smelly rooms
the staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was ok.
very old fittings and carpets, beds etc.... bit too old now, needs updating
Hotel is centrally located in Downtown Los Angeles. The breakfast is fine and staff is helpful.
The room is quite small and there are some small insects in the room.
VERY FRIENDLY HOSPITALITY MY SPECIAL REGARDS TO THE FRONT DESK ( ANGELICA) AND THE WHOLE TEAM THANK VERY MUCH AND CONGRATULATIONS FOR SUCH PROFESSIONAL JOB.
An older hotel which was clean and comfy.
Poor location, we felt very vulnerable going anywhere on foot. Lots of beggars and homeless people around.
Our king room was very spacious and clean!!
Had a bad experience with the staff. Went to ask front desk for a taxi to Beverly hills which is approx $28-38 cab ride depending on your driver, instead of taxi they send us a big svu which cost us $65. There was definitely some sneaky behaviour going on Becusse we just wanted a normal taxi !!! If you stay here be sure to make this clear or you will be ripped off too!!!!!!!!
locations and breakfast.
bathroom floor not leveled. when I went to the bathroom, I hit my foot on the raised floor to the bathroom couple times. room size was really small.
Location, Location, Location! Downtown Los Angeles right it the middle of everything. 1 block from the metro.
Noice can be a problem.
roaches on the bad
Very clean, really nice staff. Breakfast is great and the location is really awesome. Good stores within walking distance and a 24-hour restaurant across the street.
No fridge or microwave in room but that wasn't big deal.
Great location, charming restored historical building, helpful staff, and passably clean. Apparently the Back Door Pub in the lobby is the place to go because it was packed.
The room was ridiculously tiny - about 12 feet by 7 feet - as was the bed. I'm 5'4" and my feet reached the end of it. Carpet does not cover up bumpy floors, paint does not hide old dusty vents & dirty A/C unit, sprinkler system is unsafe, and pieces of walls and ceilings are falling off.
Good location and it matched the expectations from the pictures provided. Also parking options were really close to the hotel.
I did not like that the breakfast did not provide a protein option (such as eggs, ham, sausages, etc,.)
I used to stay at another major chain but they were bought out by an upscale chain and almost doubled their rates. The Ritz-Milner, even for they call a suite can still be had for under $100 a night. Easy walking distance to the Convention Center, Staples, all the LA Live facilities. Also Ralph's, Subway, iHop, 7-11, Macy's are all there if needed as well as every other type of restaurant/bar.
Not a bad experience but there is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. And the hotel does not have a sundry store, pool, gym, or restaurant, But all of these are available just b y a short walk.
Ac window unit was worn out, so noisy we couldn't even use. Killed 2 cockroaches in the room
Room and shower space small. Bathroom had little counter space. Decor a bit outdated
close to mass transit, staff very nice and tried to be accommodating.
front desk staff lacked knowledge of area and transportation options- had not been in area for very long
Booked a suite this time. Great price, good size area, very comfortable.
Breakfast room could use new furniture. Could be a bit more uplifting.
I liked the clean appearance of the room.
I opted to pay a few dollars more for the king suite, because I had a lot of work to do and wanted room to spread out. The room was quite large, and nicely decorated. Even though the building is old, the room had clearly been updated, with a very nice bathroom and decor. I travel to LA twice a year on business, and always stay at a 4 star hotel near the jewelry district. The Ritz Milner is a few blocks further away, but the room is half the price, and worth the walk! I would stay here again.
A refrigerator or micro/fridge would be nice.
