The furniture in the room, including the bed, is so old.
The cookies were really nice.
No parking, Rooms very little
Location was real good
the hotel, the beds were really uncomfortable. I swear everything squeaked! the elevators did not seem safe at all!
that I had a friend with me. I guess it was a good location since it wasn't too far from the California market center.
Facilities are clearly of an old time. At the floor where I stayed (12th), water pressure in the bathroom was apparently too low. Showers were less than satisfactory. When I first entered in my room, air smelled cigarette smoke, though I'm a non smoker.
Location is convenient if you have appointments in the downtown Los Angeles vicinity. For a short stay, breakfast is good enough. Staff is courteous and eager to help you. Many restaurants nearby. Ralphs, Target, etc. nearby. Los Angeles Metro System stops at walking distances. LA Convention Center at a 15 min walk.
small room, windows dirty
staff at desk very good
I have a disability and travel w a seizure dog / even tho it's Illegal to say No, she's not a Pet, she's working, at least 1/2 the places we go 2 give us grief
location!! great value for location like this!
Noise coming from the bar downstairs until 2am and twice in one night intoxicated people trying to get in to our room, obviously lost.
Location was great, rooms are dated but huge and we were out all day so they were sufficient. The bed was massive and very comfortable
The staff for most part very helpful. Thanks very much.
The bathroom is meant for humans the size of kids. It is just a small square with a curtain. Had to place toiletries on the floor. The aircond condioniting was ancient and the filter looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a year. Ours made a very loud hum which disrupted our rest. When we went down to tell the receptionist, we were met with skepticism and questions with statements such as "all air conditioning are supposed to be noisy". That was until we showed her a recording of the sound and we were changed to another room that had a decent working air conditioning.
The location was great, just a block from 7th street metro that will get you almost anywhere in LA
the phone call that came through to my room and i had a do not disturb sign on my door which was not a welcome person or call
Everything except there was a phone call put through to my room that should not have been because i had a do not disturb sign on my door
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The downtown location suited us and it was very easy to get around. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in LA.
Tv was old and like 13inch
Staff was nice!
Ni in room mini fridge or microwave.
The staff is very helpful and pleasant. The value and location is unbeatable
The water pressure was low
Loved the originality and location.
The room had a slightly musty smell and the fittings are quite tired. Quite a noisy bar area in the evening. A single bar of uninteresting soap and little squeezy bottle of soap in the bathroom seemed a bit unwelcoming.
Room was on the top floor and it was quiet and restful at night. Breakfast was adequate in the mornings. Staff were busy but helpful. Sheets were clean and bathtowels fluffy and large.
Not the nicest hotel but a great value. It wasn't dirty, lobby and room is clean, but it is older.
Loved the staff and location.
It was smelly...
The complimentary cookies they offer you once you arrive
The double bed is so small for two people.
The location, the surroundings, the atmosphere in the hotel and the breakfast are all wonderful!
The carpet in the room smelled badly.
Location is just in downtown LA. Close to whatever you need.
Breakfast room, very dimly lit and depressing looking, also not enough tables, often had to share.
Staff at reception
Rooms were smaller than expected and some plumbing issue but still ok
Price was right, room was clean but the Desk Staff were Wonderful and Helpful
