Great downtown location Pleasant resort setting Large room, nice balcony
Outdated room, was outfitted more as a old motel/hotel room than a resort room.
Bathtub needed to be replaced.
On site restaurant never open.
Location comfort of the room
Awful coffee! The hill up to the room
I love how it was located right in gatlinburg
The location was great. You could easily park and walk to everything in Gatlinburg.
Upon arrival my 16 year old daughter discovered a beer can under her bed. Only one of the electrical outlets worked. If you tried to plug anything into the others it would fall out. The bath tub paint was peeling. Bedspreads were in need of replacing/washing. I had to remove them from the bed immediately.
shower was loud
Our place was very accessible to nearby shopping and restaurants. We ddidn't know if there was a breakfast provided no info was given.
Entering through the bathroom made me feel odd
Great location, didn't need the car, could walk to all attractions and shopping.
Little pricey for standard room with two queen beds, wall and doors ways thin, could hear neighbors next door just talking.
Like the location the best
The room really need to be updated the carpet was very old and the toilet Lake at leaked at the floor
The terrace view was amazing.
Close to trolley lines and tons of things to do Nice view -river room Friendly and accommodating staff Comfortable beds Great shower pressure
Non-smoking room smelled like smoke
Small tv, sheets you can see thru, outdated
Location was great. Within walking distance to shopping and a variety of restaurants. The room was very clean.
The worst thing about the hotel is the room I thought I booked with a fireplace was not the room we got. Pictures on website not the same as what you get. The bar and restaurant were closed the two days we were there. Over all I might stay here again I would just make sure I knew the exact room I was getting so I didn't pay for something I didn't get. I think it was very misleading when the pictures and virtual tour both showed a fireplace in the room.
I like the room because it looked out over the creek and presented a view of Gatlinburg and the beds were comfortable.
They did not have an indoor pool or even a hot tube. I have a hot tube at home. Also another place down the street in Gatlinburg where I have often stayed "Zoders Best Western" has both a indoor heated pool and a hot tube available. The restaurant near the hotel was more of a sports bar then a restaurant. It was "OK" but we chose to eat else where.
Furnishing was old
The location was great with a front view of a snow covered mountain. The staff are friendly and very accommodating.
You hearting and cooling system needs to be upgrade with built in thermostat. It was an inconvenience having to get up several time to adjust the temperature as the unit did not shut off when it got too hot or too cold. Your pillows were way too thin and not even using two of them did the trick for us.
From the outside... It isn't much from the outside but was a surprise after surprise by staff & king suite over river view.
The stair banister was missing a chunk on top... The tub was cracked. There was no way from the guest to open top curtains w/o calling staff to open & close each time. The carpet was ripping up. The shower curtain was too short in the downstairs bathroom. So the water would flow over onto the floor
Great location. A little bit dated and rundown looking though!
Weird sewage smell in the room.
It was very clean and comfortable. It is in the middle of Gatlinburg, convince to all the shops and activities.
It would be nice if they had a pet friendly section.
The creek out side
Out of date rooms old looking( very used) nothing like on the web site never will stay here again. Parking not good either
Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Fridge. Nice balcony with a decent view. Great location.
TV is older. Bathroom a little small. Microwave a little slow.
The location of the hotel was within walking distance to everything. The shower was one of the best we have ever had in a hotel: excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The price was good as well.
The bed was older and not very comfortable. It was hard to find parking the first night we got there since the restaurant shares the parking lot with the hotel guests.
Location is great, you are just across the creek from the mall in Gatlinburg. They have a nice sports bar and a large patio. The staff was all very nice and accommodating.
The rooms still appears to be decorated as if it's 1980 and you can tell the rooms are not deep cleaned very often. Also we were put in a room at the very top of the hill so it was quite a hike up a very steep hill to our room. No elevators.. Only stairs.
The view from the balcony!
The TV, plugs, and lights didn't work. There were no extra pillows or blankets etc. Air freshener in the room and elevator made you sick to your stomach. One ice machine worked for 4 buildings. And the toilet was loose!
