I came in early, so the room was not ready - no problem, they tagged my bags and kept them behind the desk. My room faced the street, but they put me on the wait list for a Riverside suite. When I returned in the afternoon one had opened up and I was lucky enough to get it. Throughout it all the staff (especially Lisa at the front desk) was gracious and accommodating. The room itself was comfortable, well stocked with the supplies I needed and with a great view of the Riverwalk by the N. Presa turn. I is a very short (1 minute) walk to Mad Dog English Pub and Howl at the Moon and just a tad further to Casa Rio. Other restaurants nearby (1-2 minutes) are Zincs, Landrys, Hard Rock, Paloma, Paesano, Rio Rio, Iron Cactus & Republic of Texas. It is close to Buckhorn, the Alamo and not far from the Rivercenter. I recommend getting the 3 day Rio Taxi pass as you can catch it it right by the steps that lead up to the hotel.

A Riverwalk entrance would have been nice. I did not mind the walk up to College at Presa, however, the aromas around the entrance (delivery dock for restaurants) leaves much to be desired). I read a lot of complaints about parking, but I avoided this problem since I had no car.

I loved that it was a two-bedroom suite, each room with its own full bath -- perfect for our family. I also loved the proximity to the Riverwalk. Our room had a great view, and there was an entrance to the Riverwalk just a few steps from the hotel. It's a good area of the Riverwalk, too, with so many restaurants to choose from. The Alamo is within walking distance as well. Oh, and I was excited that there was a Shipley's in walking distance! Best donuts!

The entrance to the hotel is kind of hidden in what feels like a dirty alleyway. We plugged our noses every time we entered and exited. Our bed was uncomfortable -- mattress and pillows. The TV in the room my husband and I chose had a very bad, snowy picture. We were told about a shuttle that Wyndham provided that would take us to various parts of San Antonio. According to the schedule, it picks up at the hotel every 20-30 minutes. We were in and out several times and not once did we see this shuttle. One time we waited for its arrival because we were supposed to go sit through a presentation about Wyndham time shares so we could get cheap tickets to Sea World, but the shuttle didn't show up -- we waited almost 10 minutes and then left. The location is great, but keep in mind that you will hear noise from bars and restaurants and people on the Riverwalk late into the night. The price of our three-night stay was great, but I sort of wish we had chosen a traditional hotel with turn-down service, room service, a pool, etc.

Location to River Walk. 5 minute walk to most restaraunts.

We had trouble with the parking pass. Also don't try to use the washer/dryer combo unless you want to waste 4 hours and only heavy water soaked clothes

Extremely good value for money. The staff were very helpful. Loved the complimentary coffee in the reception area. Lots of personal touches in the apartment, even 2 complimentary sachets of powder for the washing machine.

I wouldn't recommend the pull out sofa bed for adults, not the best, though it would probably be okay for young children.

The location, and the size of the rooms.

We didn't get our welcome package until the day before we left. We had no idea there was a shuttle that we could of used. There is no parking. You have to use public parking that is a block down.

    Location

Entrance for drop off and pick up of luggage is poor. Also poor communicate from Booking.com and Wyndom on the available daily parking pass that the facility offers.

Everything! I will stay here every time I go to San Antonio. And the best part is that it is for real!

The only thing I didn't like is that I could not get a suite with a view to the River. Next time I will reserve sooner to get the suite I liked!

Great location near Riverside. Knowledgeable staff. Shuttle service to some key attractions.

Repeatedly being invited to be a Club member (time-share) in an implicit way.

Staff was friendly. Location good to get to the River Walk.

No on-location parking. The street was very hard to navigate for the front entrance, and felt a little unsafe. The morning we checked out, a homeless person was sleeping in the entrance to building. Also, the Lobby needs to be on the main floor. Coming in to a locked building, then going up to the 2nd floor to check in was very awkward.

I loved the location of the hotel on the river. It was easy to get to all the desitnations we wanted to see.

I did not like the fact that we reserved a King Suite but got a queen bed. The wash/dry unit was not explained to us. I left with wet clothes in my suitcase because the unit does not dry. After indicating that I reserved a king bed, was told there are mostly queens, not option to rectify. We reserved a room for another couple on our trip and they were told they would need to change rooms after 2 nites because their week is friday to friday. No sense at all, what a hastle.

The only thing I enjoyed was the bed. It is a very comfortable bed

The entrance is right on the street. It is just a dirt way that you barely noticed made you feel like it was on a back alley. No entrance to the river. No maid service x pet with a charge. No towel service you had to park down the street with a charge. No pool We did not enjoy this hotel at all. There was nothing enjoyable for the vacation at this hotel

I loved that the rooms were almost like apartments in their layout.

I did not like that some of the security staff were lazy and seemed put out just to open the door for guests.
