Clean and good location
Very small room and very small bed
Good location, room with a nice view.
Very very small bathroom can hardly turn around without touching the wall.old decor & furniture.
Dark, scuffed, dirty hallways; scuffed, scratched walls and doors inside rooms; no way to latch or lock door from inside room; very noisy room airconditioner; no bedside table; no bedside lamp; cot-size bed; gap between top of hall door and door frame,........
A bit small the room.
Location and atmosphire. The hotel is located in a very expensive residential area, 5 min from Central Park, near the subway. People who work there are extreamly helpful and very nice, always ready to help. This place has small and basic rooms (but with air conditioner, fridge and microwave), it's not luxury, but we love it with all our hearts for the hospitality and convenience.
location, close to subway, safe area 2 bedroom suite, 1 Queen & 1 twin comfortable beds sink in each bedroom fridge and micro 2 TVs clean view of river
noisy air conditioner made it difficult to sleep very slow elevators
Location is perfect, parked in front of the building along the river for free. Had an AMAZING VIEW of the Hudson River from the window. Although the rooms have a feel like of a tenement building, everything is clean and the bed is comfortable.
The interior is old (though clean). The rooms are very small. Have fair expectations - the price is low for a perfect location and cleanliness.
The staff and the location. Safe area, shop easy at hand, easy access to city centre
The room was tiny, the cleanliness not good
Area was nice walking around in with park on one side and reasonable area shopping on the other. Zabar's was a nice quick corner breakfast stop..boys loved their bagel!! While out for a walk, enjoyed catching Shakespeare-in-the-park dress rehearsal one evening! Staff friendly, helpful, & courteous. Liked having our separate rooms with attached bathroom with a/c, sink, closet, dresser space in each room and a refrig & micro with table and couple chairs in main room. Pricing reasonable! Enjoyed their Bistro's home-baked cookies! Because an older hotel, our young boys (10 &14) not excited about staying at first; by the end our our week's stay, they both agreed they had best night sleep, enjoyed having their own space & wanted to come back to the Riverside Tower Hotel on future nyc trips!!!
Only had a few minor issues, it's an older property, but kept up well. Smaller unairconditioned elevators, but doable! Distance from the main hub, but enjoyed area shops too. Parking was a bit challenging -- ended up in parking lot up street after driving around for 10 minutes. When we return to nyc, will book again with Riverside Tower Hotel!
Location of the hotel
Size of the room
close to the subway, central park, many restaurants around, nice staff
noisy, small room (3 people), air conditionning very loud, broken tv and remote, only soap in the bathroom
Good wifi service Proximity of eating joints, bart, garden, quite and save neighborhood
Size of room Adjacent room entrance through common toilet Mattress on bed, sagging and uncomfortable
Location and neighborhood
Size of the room Overall look and feel of the room Quality of bedding, bed, and pillow One staff at reception to handle all queries and guests is not enough and impacts service standards
really good location (walking distance to central park)
- good value for money for the area - friendly staff
- the toilet didn't flush when we arrived but the plumber fixed it straight away - the shower pressure was poor - the AC makes a LOT of noise can be difficult to sleep at night - recommend ear plugs!
Excellent location right next to Hudson River and a river side park. If you are a runner (like me), you'd love this park for jogging while looking at Hudson River. It's 10 times better than the famous Central Park that is overcrowded.
Room is so so small. I'm not sure if it's a standard size for this price range, but my wife and I were pushing each other when we tried to move around in the room. And the bathroom could be cleaned up more. Overall, we didn't feel very comfortable.
very poor rooms no vending machines no credit card accepted at the cafe bad mattress bad room design extremely poor bathroom smelly no shampoo or other things except a very ugly soap
Very clean Friendly, helpful staff Quiet Refrigerator Fantastic price Location
I stayed 3 nights. First night internet worked fine. But next 2 nights I could not get into internet from my room. Staff tried to help, re-set the account a few times, but nothing seemed to fix the problem.
Great rate for a prime upper west side location. For a couple with a child, our two small rooms separated by a bathroom worked well.
Staff VERY helpful and friendly. Price meant that we could have 2 rooms interconnected whilst giving ourselves and our teenagers a separate space, although both rooms and bathroom are very tight spacewise. But then the price is low for New York. But as a safe quiet, base, in which to sleep, with food shops nearby, it does the job.
